My family of 4 adults and 6 children under the age of ten booked a hop on hop off bus tour at 4pm. We were told the tour ended at 8pm. We waited for 20 minutes for a bus and rode for 20 minutes before hopping off. We hopped back on at 5:45 and were taken back and left at a location. They told us to get off the bus and the tour was over. We asked the driver why are you leaving us here and he said the bus ends at 6. We were stranded with no way to return because we were lied to, scammed and refused to be helped. We literally stopped at one stop, road the bus a total of 30 minutes to be left on the side of the road. The driver said to contact customer service and they would give us a full refund because we were sold tickets under false information. When I contacted customer service they would not help, only offered a 25% discount back. Do not use this company. I think it is a scam based on our experiences
Bought 2 tickets for our one of two days in London starting on the yellow line. Waited outside Gloucester station for nearly an hour before giving up and heading to the tube. Caught the train to Buckingham Palace where all 3 lines were supposed to go through. Met with their representative there and told him about the no show. Waited with him for nearly another 20 minutes before we saw the bus finally coming….annnnnd driving straight past us in front of their Rep!! We were livid!! It was so hot and we had wasted hours! Over this time we saw numerous competitors buses come and go regularly. We just picked the wrong company! I said to the Rep that I’d had enough and wanted a refund (no prizes for guessing the response). He said we had to call “head office” and gave us the number…in India! When I said I’m not calling India, he tried to say it just looked that way in his phone. So I called the number in front of him and went through to an Indian-speaking queue which promptly hung up on me. What a joke! Avoid at all costs!! Go with any of their competitors and you’ll be fine!
Excellent experience with Golden Tours. Everything was very well organized, from the check-in to the coach journey. The tour ran smoothly and exactly as planned.
Our driver, Armando, was excellent. He was a very safe and professional driver, and throughout the journey he shared interesting information with a great sense of humor, making the trip enjoyable and entertaining.
Stonehenge is an incredible place to visit, and the whole experience was comfortable, punctual and stress-free. We would definitely recommend Golden Tours.

**1-Star Review – Extremely Disappointing Experience with Golden Tours**
I joined the Stonehenge tour with Golden Tours on **19 September last year**, and it was one of the most stressful travel experiences my family has ever had.
Despite travelling with my **7-year-old child**, the tour coach departed **without ensuring that all passengers had returned**. My family was left behind at Stonehenge, causing tremendous panic and distress. Being stranded in a foreign country with a young child is something no family should ever experience.
What disappointed me even more was the lack of empathy and responsibility shown afterwards. Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the incident or offering a reasonable solution, I felt that my concerns were not handled professionally. A reputable tour company should have proper headcount procedures and clear communication before leaving any stop, especially when families with young children are on board.
Safety should always be the highest priority. Leaving passengers behind, particularly a family with a young child, is an unacceptable failure of basic tour management.
I hope Golden Tours will review its operating procedures, including mandatory passenger headcounts and better communication between the guide and driver, so that no other family has to go through the same frightening experience.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Golden Tours.

Tour: Winsdor, Stounhenge- Bath with tour guide Bruce.
This trip included three different destinations, but there simply wasn't enough time to properly explore any of them. The time allocated at each stop was far too short.
We arrived at Windsor about 1.5 hours early and spent that entire time waiting outside. Our guide, Bruce, said it was better to wait so we could be among the first to enter, but it made no real difference. We still didn't have enough time to visit the State Apartments because our visit was so rushed. And we spent an 1 and a half hours at the entrance waiting to enter the castle.
Throughout the journey, Bruce mostly talked about rules—what we had to do and what was not allowed. He provided very little information about the places we were visiting, which was disappointing.
At the end of the trip, he spent around five minutes repeatedly asking for a tip ("gratitude") in any currency, which felt quite persistent and uncomfortable.
The tour actually finished at 7:15 p.m., even though it was advertised to end at 8:00 p.m. It would have been much better if that extra time had been spent at the attractions instead. We barely had enough time to eat, let alone buy a bottle of water. Throughout the day, we were constantly worried about getting back to the bus on time and not being left behind with our belongings.
Overall, the itinerary was far too rushed, and I left feeling that I hadn't had the opportunity to properly experience any of the places we visited.

Booked through a tour guide to also see london bridge, went to get bus and 10 buses passed us all claiming to b private hire, even though some stated sightseeing, blue route and red route. The tour guides kept telling us 10mins, over an hr later 31degree heat we had enough, demanded a refund. Every tour guide refused to help and disappeared when we asked for refund. Finally managed to claw some money bk. But ruined the last day of our 4day stay in london

Absolutely first class experience. Easy to book and pay/ excellent communication about what to expect/ timings/ where to meet. Brilliant tour guide (Pauly) and coach driver (Kavinder). I did a Windsor Castle/ Stonehenge/ Bath full day tour. The coach driver was a calm, first class expert getting in and out of London, and driving us all safely 250 miles. The tour guide was informative, clear and had a no nonsense approach, with the customer's best interest at heart. I will definitely use this company again. Brilliant service, communication and value for money.

Very disappointment, very misleading. We 14 member of family couldn’t get to experience full tour service.
Couldn’t get to experience Cruise tour because the cruise simply wouldn’t operate usually at 4:30 pm to 6 pm time.
How would any customer know about this information without being notified.
Why Golden tour do not simply bother to inform their customer about the cruise time departure table information.
We would have arrived much early before 4 pm or later than 6 pm if only we would have informed.
When we asked the cruise staff member they said there is nothing they can do, and it is not their responsibility and would help as ticket is bought from third party.
Had travel from away with holiday booked and got our day wasted. Total waste of time.
My question Why would Golden tour bus advertise false misleading information advertising bus tour with cruise ride and cannot deliver full service.
I am more concerned about other new innocent every day customer who can get scammed unnecessary.
My family tried to ring about the concern but suggested us to email instead so here I am writing the message.
I have to make a request for refund or take legal advice.

A terrible experience: we bought tickets for Legoland in London, only to face a nasty surprise at the entrance—the tickets (complete with QR codes received via email the day before) showed up as cancelled. After waiting over an hour to convince the manager that the tickets were confirmed and paid for—all while our daughter cried because we weren't being allowed in—they finally provided new tickets. Initially, they tried to make us pay for them again, but after we insisted repeatedly, they allowed us to enter without paying a second time. A truly awful experience! Buy your tickets from official websites, not through agencies like this. Absolutely appalling.

My family and I spontaneously booked the night tour as we’ve been to London before but still wanted to enjoy the popular sites. Mathew was so knowledgeable, funny, and kind! Would highly recommend the London by Night Tour for a relaxed and enjoyable tour around the city, especially as you don’t have to worry about getting off and on. The stop was a little tricky to find but once we were there the process of checking tickets/getting on board was smooth.

My experience with Golden Tours was completely unacceptable and has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
The sales agent, Sohanur Rahman, appeared more interested in making a sale than understanding my travel plans. I was clearly informed that the tickets would remain valid for flexible use, but instead the attractions were booked according to the agent's convenience without my knowledge or consent. This resulted in my family arriving at the Tower of London only to be told that our tickets had already expired.
Although the supervisor, Akshay, stepped in and helped us gain entry to the Tower of London, the situation became even more frustrating when Sohanur Rahman called while we were already inside the attraction and insisted that we leave immediately to visit Madame Tussauds. Expecting customers to abandon an attraction because of your company's booking mistake is completely unreasonable and demonstrates a shocking lack of professionalism and customer care.
Because I had an early morning flight the following day, the incorrectly booked Madame Tussauds tickets became completely unusable. My parents missed out on an experience that I had specifically planned for them, and our holiday was negatively affected because of your staff's negligence.
The only positive part of this experience was the assistance provided by Supervisor Akshay, who tried to resolve a situation that should never have occurred in the first place. Unfortunately, his efforts cannot undo the inconvenience, wasted time, stress, and disappointment caused by the incorrect booking and poor handling of the issue.
I would not recommend Golden Tours to anyone based on this experience. Customers deserve accurate information, competent booking services, and staff who take responsibility for their mistakes instead of expecting customers to change their plans to accommodate them. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in your company.

As it was extremely hot we were all given hand fans and also a lovely complimentary hot drinks cup. The food was lovely and fresh. The guide to what we were seeing was great . Our guide (Stefan) is clearly very passionate! He made jokes and gave fun facts/pointed out interesting sights while also allowing plenty of time to relax or sleep on the way to each place.
Enough time to explore/take pictures once there; well organized and clear communication about when to meet back. Comfortable ride with nice views.
