We cannot thank Connells Leicester enough for helping us successfully sell our house especially after other estate agents had failed. Without doubt, they are the best estate agents we have had the pleasure of dealing with.
The whole team was fantastic, including Alphy and Jaydn, who kept communication clear throughout and were always available to answer any queries during the sale process.
A special big thank you must go to Heenay Joshi, Senior Branch Manager who truly went above and beyond for us. He stayed in regular contact with our buyer, always returned calls as promised, and worked tirelessly with both conveyancing solicitors during what became quite challenging at times during the sale.

Really disappointed with the service I received- was desperately looking for a home -I spent valuable time speaking to the Manager last Saturday. She gave me all the brochures said viewing would be next Saturday !! Well I’ve not had one phone call or message. I’ve now moved on .. it’s so unprofessional not keeping customers up-to-date.
Exceptional service from Naz!
We are first time buyers and have dealt with a number of different mortgage brokers over recent years on the lead up to purchasing. We dealt with Naz Devshi, based in Warwick. Who was fantastic and couldn’t rate him highly enough. Naz was super knowledgable, clear in explaining the process and what to expect next, and clearly very experienced. We felt at ease with Naz and came off the call feeling much more relaxed about next steps in the process. We haven’t yet gone any further into the process yet, but so far, the service from Naz has been exceptional and cannot fault anything at all.
Only issue being the bar has been set now and just hope it continues!

I am writing to share my experience with the Connells branch to help future clients make an informed decision.
After my offer was accepted, I experienced significant communication delays. It took six weeks of persistent follow-ups to discover that the documents had been sent to the wrong solicitor, which caused unnecessary delays and stress.
Further, I faced unprofessional behavior from the branch manager. Despite acknowledging the mistakes, his communication became dismissive. For instance, when I reached out for updates, he was often unresponsive and even spoke to me in a dismissive tone. At one point, he asked me which solicitor I was using, indicating a lack of attention to detail.
Moreover, after three months, the branch insisted on a second viewing for my buyer, even though all documents were already in place. The branch's behavior during that viewing suggested they were unprepared, and the buyer eventually pulled out the next day.
Overall, my experience with this branch has been disappointing. I hope this feedback encourages others to carefully consider their options. Genuine reviews are vital, and I strongly recommend thorough research before choosing this branch.

Connells Kingswood - Viv Rodrigues - exceptional
We were with Connells Kingswood and we have been really impressed with Lily and Kim - they’ve always been great at communicating with us and Lily is a really great salesperson.
We want to particularly mention Viv Rodrigues. She honestly worked so hard ensuring that issues related to our chain were dealt with. She was polite and extremely hard working - we’d really recommend the service we had to anyone.

I had given up on other surrounding state agents and just thought I'd contact Connells of St Albans just to get another opinion and perspective on properties in that area. To say I was pleasantly surprised at how my experience with Connells contrasted with the experience I had with other agencies would be an understatement. Dylan ( the agent I had the pleasure of speaking to to arrange a viewing was absolutely fantastic! As a cautious person my nature, i was made to feel at ease by Dylan who remained patient, informative and very courteous throughout the extended call. Connells of St Albans found a gem in Dylan indeed!

Absolutely disgusting company, their staff are allergic to the truth. We were duped last December into signing with their agency. We have had 4 viewing in 3 months and I’m fairly sure they were unemployed actors, not potential buyers . None of the potential buyers had the budget to afford our property. All were complete times wasters. We have been fobbed off over and over again.

They misrepresent properties to lure you into paying a holding deposit. Then they avoid your emails. Then they readvertised the property for a lower price - absolutely hideous, deceptive and discriminatory behaviour from Connells.
I would not bother dealing with them
I would not bother dealing with them. Arranged a valuation and time/date to view only for them to cancel the appointment less than 24hrs later with no explanation or reason. Appalling level of service for a potential seller, just imagine how bad they would be once they have you signed up!

Very disappointed with the Aylesbury…
Very disappointed with the Aylesbury branch. Chase Caswell valued the property for a friend and it seems like they have a reputation for over valuing the property just to sign you up and keep coming back to reduce the sale value to get viewings. My friend signed up for upfront fee at seem like there was little incentive to push the sale. We asked for a refund of the fee as there had been few viewings but Samantha Nelya refused. After watching BBC Panorama undercover investigation, "Undercover Estate Agent" my fears were true. Do not recommend Connells business ethics. Avoid.
Do not trust Connell Aylesbury
Do not trust Connell Aylesbury, they are unprofessional and dishonest. They have no intention of helping to sell your property and they withhold your money. They begin by valuing your property at a promising amount, but once you pay the £5,000 selling fee, they make no effort to sell it at the valuation they originally agreed upon.
Chase Caswell valued my partner’s property at £430,000 and told him it would be easy to sell. Just three months later, without making a proper effort to market it, they reduced the price by £40,000.
Following that dramatic reduction in valuation, my partner asked to take the property off the market because selling at that price would be a loss. He requested a refund of the £5,000 selling fee, but Samantha Nleya, the branch manager, refused to issue a refund. £5000 they get to keep for doing nothing!
They falsely value properties to persuade people to pay a selling fee, and once that fee is paid, they make no real effort to market the property because they have already have their money. It is extremely misleading and almost criminal that they can keep people’s money with no consequences.
Looking into it online, it seems to be a trend with all the Connells branches.

We sold our house in Hitchin through Connells. The viewings were well managed and secured us a good buyer. However Paul and the team really stepped up when there were problems further down the chain with one of the solicitors and another estate agent not communicating effectively causing confusion and almost led to the collapse of the whole chain. Thanks to Paul and Rosie’s diligence and tenacity, we were able to complete and move into our new dream home.

Sale went through on the 23rd November 2025
We dealt with Okan Gucluer, Chase Caswell and various members of the selling team. They were all very helpful and professional and easy to talk too. We used their legal conveyancing team which were Swittch. Connie Harris dealt with our sale, we could not fault her, she was very professional and answered all our questions swiftly! The sale went through very smoothly and as it was a very delicate time, due to our Mother passing it was a big relief to talk to nice and caring people!
Our experience with Connells after…
Our experience with Connells after vacating the property was extremely frustrating. We were presented with a large and unexpected bill covering items such as full internal repainting, despite this being a 2-year tenancy.
Several charges were raised without adequate proof, and some items claimed did not even belong to the landlord. We cooperated fully, returned keys on time, and agreed to reasonable deductions, but the remaining demands felt excessive and unfair.
This situation caused unnecessary stress and required us to pursue a formal ADR dispute. I strongly advise future tenants to take detailed photos and understand their rights regarding fair wear and tear.

Repeated unwanted contact after asking to be removed
I initially contacted Connells Taunton when I was considering selling my property following a relationship breakup. It was a very stressful time, and although I decided to go in a different direction, I made it very clear that I did not wish to be contacted again and asked for my details to be removed from their system.
Despite this, I had two different people call from Connells that same week to try and book a valuation for my property, and I had to explain the situation again to both of them.
This now brings us to today, almost five months later, when I received yet another phone call “following up” about my property.
Avoid. They show a lack of boundaries, attention to detail and poor handling of customer data.
