They're really bad servers. If you want a "potato server" you should use this ! I use them host my rust server and he constantly getting down and with performance issues that they cannot solve.

Tried everything, even reaching out to their ghost support.
No reponse, no fix.

I opened a high priority ticket in regards to DDOS attacks happening at that current moment.
This was at 9am, I still have yet to receive a reply and it is now 16:50.
The attack is over, it was over at 11am, it was more cost-effective for me to just raw dog the attack than wait on their "high priority" response.
Really makes you wonder what a "low priority" response time is like, I dread to know.

+ Better latency compared to some alternatives
+ Filters most attacks
* Attacks often cause bedrock players to disconnect
* Support helpfulness and response times vary
- More expensive compared to alternatives
- Major outages recently
CosmicGuard is awesome. It filters attacks very well, and we have had only one issue with a filter. Rene was very helpful and fixed it. I've never seen a more caring DDoS protection provider. As well, the reliability is awesome; we love Cosmic.
The staff have always been good to us and always work towards a resolution if issues arise.
If I need to look for a hosting provider, or recommend one to friends, business associates, or whatever else I always point them in the direction of anything with "CosmicGuard" on it.
Having worked closely with people who use them at an enterprise level, and been a client myself, their team are stellar. Fast, responsive, proactive in finding and fixing the few and far between issues that occur. Their uptime is transparent and honest, with no reason not to be, very rarely are there issues, and when they happen, they don't last long.
CosmicGuard to me anyway is a bit like a quality guarantee sticker you might see in the store, 10/10 would recommend you give em a shot.
I have interacted with Cosmic and its team, who have provided excellent mitigation and bare metal services for my needs. I have deeply enjoyed interacting with Rene, Dristen, Ryan and Rob from Cosmic. They are to the point, no nonsense and always transparent which is something you can’t say about a lot of competitors in the industry. The fact that people have been submitting significant amounts of false reviews just shows you how powerful Cosmic’s mitigation is, that competitors will try anything to destroy its credibility. This is my only review, and any other review claiming to be published by me is fake. Trustpilot, do better to eliminate fake reviews.
Cosmic has always provided outstanding services, both on its mitigation side and its bare metal side. Rene and his team are outstanding, and certainly defeat the competitors. I am saddened that a platform like Trustpilot is being abused to submit false reviews about Cosmic. Nevertheless, you can count on Rene and his crew to always get the job done. Never stop being awesome.
CosmicGuard has been a source of continuous problems for us. For the first several months, we experienced persistent BGP issues, which the team consistently dismissed as not being their fault. Only after persistent pressure did they acknowledge their mistake and resolved the issue, offering us compensation for just one month despite the ongoing issues we had been paying for.
Afterward, during a migration of our equipment, the same issue resurfaced. Once again, they insisted it wasn't their fault and even ignored our support requests. The repeated problems and poor customer service have been extremely frustrating.
The team at Cosmic is great to work with. We have jumped in 100% and integrated it into our daily business operations. We have first level communication with the team and they answer all our dumb questions and help guide mitigation tactics. Ignore the 1 Star reviews from people who obviously have not used the system correctly.
Cosmic has been great for our company. Their protection is generally strong out of the box, uptime is great and we haven't had too many major issues.
The team is all very knowledgeable and recently there seems to be a noticeable improvement in the service and support quality which is great to see.
I have used this company in the past. Big trombone effect and it was really bad for the game servers I was hosting. It still has these issues to this day.

CosmicGuard is simply a joke. I requested support during the trail period and the only response I received was that it was really my problem, and absolutely not theirs. After that, support was no longer responded to.
Please find another provider for Anti-DDoS. Believe me, there are better options than one that charges €20/TB for bandwidth.
Purchase of Cosmic made on 09/29/2023.
Once the service was delivered, a client received attacks with 10Gb/s incoming (With filter).
Cosmic responded that the problem stemmed from a configuration issue on our end.
After 3 checks, Cosmic continued to claim that the problem was on our side.
After 3 more checks, Cosmic finally looked into it & admitted that the problem was on their end.
After hours of waiting, and being honest, Cosmic finally resolved the issue.
The panel to view the attacks does not work (Impossible to see correctly).
There is no panel to add or modify rules; you have to manage on your own with their API.
Regarding support, the support is absent, no response on live chat, on discord, or on slack.
If you need help, you can wait.
In the beginning, when everything was corrected, Cosmic worked very well, but when you receive specific attacks, Cosmic is no longer present.
During an attack that causes problems with your service, Cosmic will ask you for a PCAP lol.
A lot of problems, the lack of support is evident, they do not want to admit that the problem comes from their fault.
It's a shame, and I am very disappointed.
Unfortunately not what we expected. We tried out Cosmic after having a bad experience with our previous provider, unfortunately the experience ended up being worse.
The product itself was generally OK, besides an entire week in which we noticed a 500% latency increase, we luckily rarely noticed major downtime.
The "out-of-the-box" DDoS protection was mediocre, I'm sure it's capacity is plenty but with lots of false positives and lots of leakage it's unfortunately not very pleasant to use. There are no tools available for configuring your firewall either, if you want to modify something, they'll send you their API docs..
The management is unfortunately where the terrible really starts, the director of the company Rene claims the "CEO" status on LinkedIn but is unfortunately not executing much at all. He's often unavailable for weeks and only seems to be around when there's something for him to make money on. As soon as any responsibility has to be taken he is nowhere to be found, literally, he will ignore you for weeks.
Furthermore they definitely have a staffing issue. Replies were often unreliable as well, sometimes they'd get back to you quickly, and sometimes it'd take days. Ryan was very arrogant and always tries to shift the blame. The other staff were lovely however, Finn was the only member willing to try and clean up everyone's mess.
We think the project has potential but definitely has a long way to go before it is ready for anything professional. We hope you take our feedback to heart and do better going forward, best of luck!
