I made many small transactions with Yourcryptopal, dozens in the last 2 years. These went fine. But last week I tried to deposit Euro 115. I followed all instructions. They received the PayPal transfer. Instead of crediting the Euro 92 to my account they cancelled the transaction. I reached out to Support via email, asking to clarify the cancellation.
They have since credited my account with the outstanding 92 Euro, and advised me to only contact support via Telegram. I hope the issue where transactions are cancelled by system error is corrected in the near future.

The customer wrote by email, which is never checked. It's clearly stated in the website "response might be delayed". The customer is invited to write in telegram to resolve the issue. Resolving a case via email can take up to 60 days.

1. The fee was ALWAYS 20% (0.80), it was never made higher
2. The minimum deposit was shifted from 10€ to 25€. Not a drastic change as you make it look.
3. The max deposit was also made higher, from 250€ to 999€
4. The recent hold policy was introduced in light of recent events, but since it looks like you are a long time customer, you can contact support and have your hold removed
But you are probably just upset for the hold because you cannot abuse the system anymore :)

Service is good, customer support excellent and fast to respond, only issue is just the exchange fees are quite high. The overall website is good and no KYC, all done through shop pay. The money is usually credited in a rather long amount of time, but due to the amazing support I was able to receive it earlier.
