I am really satisfied with their service. I got a problem and didn't receive my magazine and when I ask for assistance they take care of it and did a great follow up until I got my answer and problem is solved.

I have been using Discount Magazines since 2013 for all of my magazine subscriptions. I've always received my first issues earlier than promised and all of my renewals have happened without any problems -- until now. It seems that Plane & Pilot magazine is having problems in their subscription department. So I finally got a chance to experience DiscountMags customer service. When I contacted DiscMags to report the problem they immediately contacted P&P to resolve my renewal problem. Long story short, I eventually contacted P&P myself (by waiting for 90 minutes on hold) and confirmed that the problem was with P&P, not DiscMags. P&P finally agreed to honor the renewal that was placed through DiscMags and all is good again. Through the entire process DiscMags always stayed in touch with me and offered to refund my purchase price several times. Excellent customer service :-)

Via email, I requested immediate cancellation of 2 subscriptions, which, it turns out, were not among my scrips processed by DiscountMags. I requested a refund for a magazine that DiscountMags renewed automatically when my renewal expiration date actually had 2 more years to go. DiscountMags customer service was very professional and responsive to my request, and refund happened in a timely manner. I will definitely use DiscountMags for any additional magazine purchases.

Discount magazines was a terrific website to order magazines through, I had a little trouble not receiving one of my magazines that I ordered and when I contacted discount magazines they answered right away and help me the whole to get it straightened out. No phone number and very slow customer service
In December 2020, I renewed my New Yorker subscription (for two years) via DiscountMags.com and all was well for a while. The magazine came on time.
It stopped coming at the end of April (despite having 20+ months remaining on the subscription) and I've been frustrated by how long it's taking to resolve the problem. DiscountMags.com doesn't share a phone number (so you have to use the online interface) and when I did that, I got a message telling me:
"Once a request like this is submitted, it can take up to 10 business days or 14 calendar days to get a response. We will follow up with you as soon as a response has been provided for your order."
So before you consider subscribing via this service, definitely weigh the possibility of waiting for two weeks to have a subscription issue resolved, versus being able to just pick up the phone and call the New Yorker directly. It's this lack of customer service that allows them to provide magazines at a discount, apparently.

Really bad
Really bad. Added to subscription to New Yorker in December and have not received anything since then. Confirmation email said "Your current subscription will be extended**:Between 02/18/2021 and 03/18/2021" and "Please allow 4-6 weeks for the renewal to be tacked on to the account." It's almost May. Excuses when we email. The COVID response is getting really old--how exactly does COVID screw up making some changes on a computer so badly?
UPDATE: About 2 1/2 weeks after this review the magazine began coming again.
