It's really a great website I enjoy my work with capterra

Everyone beware, this company is completely bogus and runs on manipulation and deceit of the users, as well as companies and reviewers. First they bombard you with emails how you must write an honest review and they will pay you "$10-15." So you go OK I know that software really well and you take 15 minutes of your life to write an honest review. They publish it, and then they give you the run around for weeks and tell you oooopsss that review didn't qualify for an incentive because you didn't click on the email, but you did and you even saved the email. And that happened to me on 4 reviews! Capterra's business practices are cunning and illegal, not only do they lie to the regular folks who write reviews and receive nothing in terms of the promised incentive, they also only pick positive reviews so don't believe any of the published product reviews on their site ! This is a total sham! Stay away! Save your time and peace of mind!

Capterra is a very helpful tool to check the soft wares, its features and pricing based on reviews by direct users. The reviews is a mirror on how these applications/softwares/technology work.

I've been using capterra for a while now... and i must say that is a great place to search for software reviews, because we all contribute to make writing the reviews and we are rewarded for that!. So it's a win-win.

Capterra has been absolutely great to use from the very beginning. I absolutely love their review platform and how easy that they make it to find good software for you to use.

to familiarize yourself with the functions of new software as well as with the new functions of old software, to send everyone off and maybe be honored by amazon, which unfortunately doesn't happen often :)

Suggested software based on a Capterra Review which I assumed to be reasonable, or at the very least verified, which it clearly was NOT. To my chagrin it would appear the that review was posted without validation or any sort of scrutiny for accuracy. Given that the alleged poster provided the review at the request of Capterra(according to Capterra) I find it disappointing and frustrating that no one noticed the fact that it was made BEFORE QBO Advanced was even available to Canadian businesses.... and not by a couple of months or weeks..... This review was posted by a Canadian user, from a Canadian company utilizing QBO Advanced 6 years ago which is simply impossible given that the Advanced QBO option only became available in Canada in Early 2022. As in AT LEAST 4 years AFTER the review was posted.
Shame on you Capterra. You are NOT a reliable source of information. Period!

We've had a negative experience with Capterra's review system for our solution, which has since been resolved.
We received a false review on our platform (most likely from someone who had confused our product name with a product with a similar name), which Capterra refused to remove even though we provided evidence that the review was not related to our product. They have since rectified the issue but it took a number of months to get resolved.

Capterra isn't a review site - they're simply spammers that charge companies huge amounts of money to spam the living daylights out of their customers for reviews. On top of this, they promise "rewards" in the form of Amazon Gift Cards each time they email you - but the rewards never come.

Contacting customer service always results in some excuse about the reward not being eligible, despite the VOLUMINOUS amount of emails they sent stating that it was.

The site is NOT a trustworthy source of information. It's all reviews that companies paid for, and Capterra defrauded end-users to get.

UPDATE: Capterra has responded with their typical canned response. They seem to be oblivious of the fact that THEY emailed me and OFFERED me to make a review in exchange for a gift card and then claimed they NEVER emailed me and there was no reward. They are seriously a terrible, fraudulent organization.
