While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

If I could give a negative ten stars I…

If I could give a negative ten stars I would. The worst site I have EVER had to try and navigate. TERRIBLE directions, confusing, and consistently leaves you lost without any way to redo what you need to. Someone else called it and clusterf++k and I think that's being generous. Waited one full hour to get lame help via phone. Terrible.

Dead end

For over ten years, I have been working with multiple attorney office's and paying $1800 every two months. My main complaint is that the examiner keeps rejecting the application a month after month and year after year. The attorneys are no longer working on my patent since there's nothing they can do. What am I supposed to do?!

I was scammed out of $450 by USPTO…

I purchased a 40ft ladder from USPTO attorney Stephan Willett for $450 cash so that we could hang Christmas lights on our home.

We hired multiple contractors and NONE of them felt safe to use the ladder Stephan sold us.

When we made Stephan aware, he told us both that "he is an attorney" (he told us this multiple times) and that we should "paint rusted brackets" and also to "Please text picture of bracket before and after painting!" - we have these records in text format.

So his solution for contractors not feeling safe climbing 40ft high to hang Christmas lights on a rusty ladder is to paint over the unsafe parts. It's all in the text message records! I won't be hiring him as my attorney any time in the future...

Garbage of a Website

USPTO patent center webpage is absolutely garbage and won't let you login or submit application. Apparently this has been an issue for months. A few Reddit users commented Fax was the only way for them to submit the application.

Really makes me wanna ask for my tax money back.
