HFD is a TOTAL SCAM
HFD is a TOTAL SCAM. If I could leave them zero stars, I would! Their help line is completely useless and they charge random interest rates without alerting you to changes.
I tried to pay a load in full, and the system would not let me. I finally got someone on the phone, who threw out several different dollar figures at me- none of which added up, and I was then transferred multiple times until someone could explain how I can pay in full. WEEKS later, I am receiving more emails that I somehow owe a small amount- which their customer service tells me to ignore? I asked to get that in writing to confirm I have zero remaining balance- and they denied it after attempting to talk me in circles. I am entirely and unwillingly on the hook and cannot get off! TOTAL SCAM

I did not have a great experience from the first moment i signed for this service. Their platform needs to be fixed as it is not clear on why there is an error when trying to pay. You will pay late fees because of that like I had to do. The customer's service attitude is not helpful as well.

This company is so dishonest and disorganized. They need to be investigated by someone, they'll tack illegal late fees charge you for them but when you get your receipt they only show what you owe. So I agreed to pay them and change my billing date paid everything and then they have the audacity to tell me I owe for the month of April when I literally switched my payment date. They literally go so we charged you for what you owed and they supposedly knocked the late fee. They repeated what I paid them and im like yes that doesn't match the amount I was charged. Oh unless like we agreed upon you changed my billing date. So it would make sense there still trying to say I owe them for this month literally even after the person working for them literally said out loud what I agreed to. Still trying to bill me again after tacking on illegal late fees that they won't even send you the receipt you paid them. Joke of a company! Yall are gonna get yours.

This was my experience with this finance company. I contacted them immediately because the interest rate was extremely high, and the dentist had not done any work yet. I told them I wanted to cancel. They told me I could not cancel, which was not true.
They also told me the interest rate was high because they “don’t run credit.” I checked my TransUnion report, and they did run my credit.
They told me they were located in Southlake, Texas. They are not in Southlake.
I’m not calling it a scam, but I am saying they gave me false information more than once. Before any dental work was done and before I received any contract documents, I asked to cancel and was told I couldn’t. That was false, and it put me at a disadvantage as a customer.
Now you can contact the OCC of Texas because all finance companies are regulated by them if you live in Texas and they stated that they are in Texas
