Property purchased from auction, with no history. Leaders were a great help in getting this to market, an excellent job by the team, without them it would not have happened, some people to mention is Paige, Sandeep, Owen and the wider team. Highly recommend if you want results, i.e. purchase to market to rental, within 1 month, professionalism throughout, excellent! Thank you team!

Excellent support when we needed it most due to heath condition

The service was disappointing and did not meet expectations. Communication was unclear, and there was a lack of cooperation with the client.
The move-out process was complicated, and the documentation was not properly explained. After 2 years of renting, I was unfairly charged £500 for repairs, even though nothing in the apartment was damaged. Additionally, I was asked to pay for cleaning, which had not been clearly communicated in advance.
Overall experience was negative, lacking transparency and fairness.
Will be careful and be interested with everything in they premises ........

As a landlord who is paying for a full management service I have found Leaders extremely frustrating to deal with. I own multiple properties and began using Leaders a few years back for 2 Nottingham houses. Initially they seemed professional and fine to deal with, but over the last two months rent has been delayed (from their side, not tenants), the accounts team have messed up the rental statements repeatedly - basic maths which they cant make 2+2=4 level. I have been charged for invoices for work that hasn't happened in houses, and randomly over-inflated charges for items like gas cert have crept on to the statements. Despite being in regular contact with the assigned property manager I am now 5 weeks on from an incorrect statement and payment and haven't received my money still. The branch manager is also failing to return calls and emails. It has been a frustrating experience to say the least, and really only leaves legal action against Leaders as the next steps for me to follow. Just to add that I have 5 different letting agencies across the country who manage my properties, and although all have flaws and occasional issues which can irritate, none of them fail to add up numbers correctly on a regular basis. This is a first....0/10 to Leaders Nottingham!!

Leaders Nottingham lettings were bullying in their approach to securing a property with a holding deposit, however they did not have the property ready by the insisted move in date - major repairs unfinished and no pre tenancy clean - and then relisted the property despite them having our holding deposit which took 20 days to return with several failings and breach of contract and codes of conduct by them
I am a seasoned professional of many decades - I would recommend all to avoid this unscrupulous business who hide behind unavailability and their national web presence - you are dealing with people and their living arrangements - you are not fit to practice

Leaders never disappoint me. Much better than any usual property agents

I chose Leaders because they seemed professional and good communicators at first. Indeed they found me a tenant quickly and Lucy who set up the tenancy was pleasant and helpful They also offered 3 months free management fee for new business
However since then all I have received is 2 landlord statement with several unexplained fees, management charges and a payment which have still not been made. I have received nothing at all into my bank account although the tenant moved in on 30 October and it’s now 4 January!! I have emailed the managers who haven’t responded.

Truly dreadful, liars, ignorant and incompetent Avoid at all costs. Yvonne in particular is horrendous. Apparently 35 years in the business but appears to know or have learned nothing. It’s just a pen pushing exercise and she just doesn’t care. Lies continuously and just goes through the motions and that’s being generous. In all my years of buying g property I ha e never dealt with such an impersonal, uncaring, incompetent estate agent. Avoid Avoid Avoid!

I can’t thank Helen Hufton enough for all her help and support as a Lettings Coordinator at Leaders in the Nottingham branch. From start to finish, Helen was warm, approachable and professional. She made the whole process smooth and stress-free, always keeping me updated and taking the time to explain everything clearly. I’m so grateful for all her hard work and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated, supportive, and caring Lettings Coordinator. Thank you again, Helen, for making the experience such a positive one!

Great service bought my house with them in 2023, they made everything run easy and hand over smoothly even though I wasn't able to be there for handover myself. Faijul was our main contact and helped us out a great deal. Excellent would recommend!
The sheer lack of care or effort is ridiculous. Basic questions take days to get responses, applications get passed around between people who are either on annual leave or don't know what's going on.
More importantly, though, they're breaking the law! After (finally) rejecting my application, they agreed to give my holding deposit back... and never did. They don't pick up the phone, my emails get ignored, and the formal complaint I sent off has yet to go anywhere. You put the ad back up within an hour... so where's my money?

It was easy to talk to Mr James Hopkins and he explained everything entailing the application process and booking a viewing for the property. His knowledge and professionalism has helped in the process in search of a new place to leave.

After a long time away from the rental market, I was wary of what to expect but Kully made the whole experience stress free. Right from the start, his friendly manner put me at ease and he was willing to listen to me and what I wanted instead of giving me the hard sell I had been expecting. He answered all my questions and was just a thoroughly nice guy.

Absolutely shockingly appalling experience with Leaders. My wife and I found a property and called on a Saturday to schedule a viewing for the following Thursday. We were told it was a popular property but we had the first available viewing. We thought this would give us the opportunity to apply first.
On Tuesday my wife noticed the property was no longer available online. No call or email from Leaders. Midday Wednesday they still hadn’t informed us our viewing had been cancelled so I had to call them and they confirmed someone else had rented it (how? We were told we had the first viewing). Then they called me twice more while I was at work to tell me the viewing had been cancelled and ask if I want to view other properties from them. Clearly absolutely zero communication between their employees.
The following Monday we noticed the property was listed again. Of course we were wary from our previous experience, but we really liked the property so tried again. I called on Monday and was told I was the first person to reach out and they hadn’t even begun calling people back yet. Great, tried to schedule a viewing and was told they couldn’t get ahold of the current tenants to see when they’d be available, but he emailed me directly to keep in touch when he was able to schedule the viewing. By 430 on Tuesday I still hadn’t heard back, so I called and was told the tenant wasn’t available all week, but Monday would be the first available viewing. This time I asked if we could apply outright now or reserve it somehow. Was told no, they are not allowed to let it until we’ve viewed it, but rest assured we’re the first viewing.
Well today, Monday, a half hour before our viewing was scheduled we get a call letting us know it’s been cancelled as the property has been let. How? How could it be let if we had the first viewing and you’re not allowed to let it without someone viewing it? I was told “I guess someone had already booked a viewing for Saturday”. When I was told I was the first person to speak to them after it became available the second time and that I had the first viewing. So now I’m sure they’re just flat out lying to me, wasting my time and my wife’s, and having me waste two days off work just to be cancelled at the last minute.
And then to really drive home their unprofessional practices, I get a text 10 minutes later stating I’m booked in for a viewing tomorrow at another property. When I called to ask why they say someone called “Catherine” called from an anonymous number and booked a viewing on behalf of her sister, my wife, and put my number down as the contact. The agent even confirmed my name and my wife’s name. Now, not only is my wife an only child, but neither of us even know anyone called Catherine. So best case scenario they are booking new viewings on our behalf using our information without our consent and then once again lying to us and making up a whole fake person and story to explain it (poorly), or worst case they have a SERIOUS data privacy issue. And a very odd woman who books viewings for strangers.
I know this was too long, but to summarize Leaders are poorly managed, don’t communicate with each-other or potential tenants, and at the risk of sounding overly dramatic, flat out liars. Completely untrustworthy and sketchy company.
