Outstanding support and professionalism from Sophie ( Guildford )

I had such a great experience with Sophie Burgess from Guildford branch throughout the whole process of renting my house.

From day one, Sophie was incredibly professional, friendly and genuinely cared about making things as smooth as possible for me. She was never too busy to answer my questions (even the small ones!) and always replied quickly and clearly.

What I really appreciated was how patient and understanding she was – nothing ever felt like too much trouble. She kept me updated at every stage, and you could tell she really takes pride in her work and wants the best for her clients. It’s rare to come across someone who’s both so capable and so kind.

Honestly, Sophie went above and beyond in every way. If I could give her 10 stars, I absolutely would. She’s a real credit to her team, and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a smooth and stress-free rental experience.

If I could give them zero I would

If I could give them zero I would.

A useless company.

I’ve used them as a tenant.

My family are landlords ,so I can see both sides of this. I am an extremely laid back person and tenant. I also went above and beyond to make sure costly call outs were avoided where possible.
I would be appealed if I as a landlord had paid good money to them for this ‘ service’. 7 years as a tenant in the same property and it was the agent that made me leave. I would have stayed longer.

Delays in repairs (over 3 months with no boiler through winter) repairing things that hadn’t been advised needed doing. Repairs left incomplete ie hole left in wall where old thermostat was. Wires just cut and left.

When it came to moving out.. I’ve waited over 4 months for my deposit. I chased them 2 weeks after check out after hearing nothing. Sent official email asking for the return…. Nothing. I had to contact the TDS to step in as I had no communication from them. This was sending emails to both the branch and the finance department!
2 months after my email I received a reply only when the 28 days they had to reply to TDS also lapsed. They suddenly realised they probably should do something and unfortunately TDS gave them another day to submit some evidence. Dragging the ordeal out another month or more. They never returned the undisputed part of the deposit and only now that the TDS have come back on the disputed amount are they replying. I’m the one sending more emails requesting the deposit back. If they don’t then I’m having to take them to small claims like TDS have suggested.

I recommended the landlord go with another agent which they have done.

Would I go with them for any of their ‘ services’ absolutely not. So many other agents to choose and I’m sure better ones to give your money to.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. We have been having problems with multiple things since start of renting... still waiting for them to sort them out. They gave wrong information as well regarding the flat as wrong council tax banding, wrong electricity reading at the beginning, you name it.

Sophie is a star!!

I am delighted to be part of such amazing letting company. They are very professional and always resolve the queries. I have been in contact with Sophie all these times since I have moved in, I have had wonderful experience with her. She is attentive, good listener and she makes sure that tenants are satisfy with their needs. Sophie is prompt to emails or calls. When I moved in Kettle was not in good condition, I mentioned this to Sophie and with immediate effect kettle was deliver to our house. Thanks to Sophie and landlord for being kind and considerate. Sophie is always warm and friendly whenever I am in contact. I always feel I am in safe hands.

Renew the Rent contract.

We are pleased to renew the contract for the third time. We live at 3 Sycamore Road - Guildford. And we are very satisfied with the management as our Property Manager Larissa Hall always give us a very nice attendance, everything we request she is prompt to attend and resolve any matters. Just moved into a new rented flat in Guildford. Obviously there's some issues that come with moving freshly into a new place, however have been assured by Larissa (our property manager) that things will come through. Already many things that we've asked for have been fixed/resolved. Both Sophie & Larissa reply in a very timely manner when we contact them, which is greatly appreciated. We are getting quite comfortable into our new home.

Jade Cook is a legend

Found myself in the awful position of needing to move out of a place I'd lived in for 13 years at very short notice. Jade was warm, knowledgeable and reassuring from the start - she made me feel like it was not hopeless. Then she greased every single wheel she could grease to get me rehoused within about a week of meeting her! In this climate, with a low budget, and with a DOG. And she continues to answer every annoying question I pester her with. She's a STAR. I hope Leaders realise what an asset she is.

Don't sign with Leaders

Good service until you sign the contract, then they will ignore your calls, pretend to be on lunch breaks to avoid speaking with you, and act extremely unprofessional. They tried to charge us a £400 leaving fee when we ended our tenancy (even though this was never mentioned in the contract). After I had read through the contract and found the part that says we don't need to pay a fee, they dropped the charge and didn't even apologise for trying to con us out of £400. Most of the positive reviews seem generic, probably fake. I know most estate agents can be like this but these guys take it to another level. (I was with the Guildford branch).

Once we left, even our landlord ended the contract with Leaders, they provide absolutely terrible service for both the landlord and the tenants.

Excellent as always!

I have previously used Leaders lettings in Guildford and once again I have had an excellent professional, efficienent, friendly service. Cannot reccomend them highly enough.

Superb experience with these team!❤️

We just recently moved into a propery with the help of Leaders and I must say that they are excellent in this field. The process when smooth and easy and we haven’t experienced any delays or problems. I would also like to commend the staff most especially to Mr. Michael McGiff, who is patient enough to answer our inquiries and concerns. They really assisted us from the very start up until the day that we moved in.
