Great program. Sometimes the buses don't stick to the scheduled time of arrival. Big 5 a terrific deal. The service we received from Bo was just fantastic - I wish everyone operated like this. Thanks,... See more

Very friendly and helpful staff in…
Very friendly and helpful staff in Sydney. Comfortable, clean bus. We were a little disappointed about the lack of information through the headphones as I was interested in lots of fascinating looking buildings but nothing was mentioned. I know there is much more to Sydney than the small commentary we heard ie is the pertaining to between stop 1 and stop 8 on the red line. What we did hear was very interesting and informative
Fantastic service
Big Bus consistently provides a great experience. Drivers are fantastic! They work well as a team. Friendly and accommodating as much as they can.
More stops could be a lot closer to the attraction. An evening route could be added.

Good way to see bondi beach and Sydney to get your bearings. Good info given on audio tour as well.
Do not use on NewYears Day!!!
Booked two tickets in advance for New Years Day. Thinking their might be a problem after the previous nights celebrations emailed some weeks earlier to check. The reply assured me everything would run as normal. Arrived at the stop in Darling Harbour for the first scheduled bus only for it not to arrive until 1hr 35 mins later. Luckily I was near the front of the queue as only 5 of us managed to squeeze on the overfull bus. The other 40+ were left behind and very annoyed.
Throughout the day had to put up with long waits for the next bus which invariably were like tightly packed commuter transport rather than a pleasant holiday tour. Had good BigBus Tours in other cities but Sydney has a real problem which needs sorting out.
Big Bus is really BIG
It is ideal if you wish to cover more places in limited time. Frequency is quite good. We enjoyed it
Good experience in Sydney
Good experience, and well designed sites for visiting.
An OK tour - we booked and paid for two days but didn’t bother for the second day!!!
An OK tour. But for a better view of Sydney’s icons take a river taxi trip between Darling Harbour and Circular Quay - it is very good (we kept all the photos from that trip and none from the bus top).
Buses can be very crowded - even when we were travelling off-season... it felt like there were not enough buses operating, so everyone was squeezed onto the few running 😳
The commentary information was adequate, but a bit repetitive on the different red and blue routes.

This was the best way to see Sydney
This was the best way to see Sydney. Especially if you've not been here before. Very affordable and informative. The hop on and off was another great feature allowing you time to visit locations around sydney for additional exploration.
The audio on the bus was useless…
The audio on the bus was useless because the volume was too low to hear. We tried audio on three different buses and could not find one that we could listen to the commentaries. Other passengers made the same complaints to the drivers. It was definitely not worth the money that was charged for the combo tickets that we bought. Very disappointed!!
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience! However next time I will bring my own earphones. We also found some of the stops were a bit long. Otherwise it's a great way to see a new city!
Great way to see Sydney
Worst experience of or 18 day trip
Worst experience of or 18 day trip. Booked thae red and blue lines tour in Auckland. After paying, we waited just under 30 minutes for a red bus. Annoying, but bearable (3 Grayline busses came by while we wsited). Got a decent tour. Swithed over to cath the Blue bus. Were told 20 min by staff. After 30 min, told any minute. After 45 minutes, finally yold only 1 bus was running because only 1 cruise ship was in.wsited an hour. Hopped off for lunch, and waired 65 minutes. Major ripoff and disinformation.
I love big bus tour - need more cities
I love big bus tour and wish it was in more cities. Convenient and good value, especially with 2 day pass.
ok way for tourists to get around Sydney
Wait time was often longer than expected. Had to stand on bus to Bondi due to overfilled bus. Stop numbers need to be announced at stops. Enjoyed narratives. Good way to get layout of city.

I took my brother who lives overseas on one of these tours and it is a great way to introduce somebody to sydney
Take the Big Bus in Sydney
The Big Bus was a great way to orient myself to Sydney, as my stay was short. The commentary was useful in helping me decide where to get off, and the mobile app provided additional tips about things to see. I liked being able to track the closest bus, so I never really had to wait. I only wish I'd been able to buy a 3-day pass!
Exciting Sydney Big-Bus
It was very beneficial, exciting, comfortable tour and through 2 rute,
I saw many things in Sydney.
Lemonade out of lemons
Despite the bad weather Les's commentary made the tour very educational and informative. He shared his passion with all of us.
