Communication is awful

Zavo pay started off really well, their fees are excellent. However, 3 months in and they have stopped all pay outs to my company stating that they need to complete a 'compliance review'. They did not notify me of this, they just stopped the pay outs. I contacted them and was asked to provide information for the compliance review which I have done. They have not responded to me at all and I have still not received the pay out. There is no number to call and I keep being fobbed off by their customer service team. Overall, once they've got you signed up, their communication becomes non existent and the rep left without me being informed as to who my new rep is. I have now stopped any further transactions until they release my money and will be looking at other providers to use going forward. I have also drafted a letter to the financial ombudsman.
Update: I have received the following response. It’s funny how they have responded to my negative review but not any of my emails! I have contacted the compliance email address many times, requesting an update but, to date, they haven’t responded to me. I spoke with someone from customer services and she was very unhelpful, just also directing me to the compliance email address. And they don’t offer 24 hour support as mentioned in their response, they can take up to 6 hours to respond which just isn’t good enough. Their communication is awful. I suggest they are avoided at all costs.

I am beyond frustrated with my…

I am beyond frustrated with my experience with Zavopay. If you are looking for a reliable payment processor, look elsewhere.

Every time I reached out, I was told my documents were "under review" or that I needed to wait another 3-5 business days.

The Issues:
Withheld Funds: My payout has been pending for weeks with no clear explanation as to why the funds aren't being released.

Moving Goalposts: Every time I provide the requested information, they find a excuse to delay the transfer.

Poor Communication: Customer support is unhelpful and relies on canned responses. Getting a straight answer from a real person is nearly impossible.

Bottom Line: It feels like my money is being held hostage. Providing sensitive documents to a company that refuses to honor its payout schedule is a massive red flag.

Save yourself the headache and the financial risk: Do NOT use Zavopay.

I run Michael’s Meats in Brixton and…

I run Michael’s Meats in Brixton and switched to ZavoPay for my shop. I’ve saved a big amount compared to my previous provider, so I’m really glad I made the move.

Josh and the team were very helpful throughout and made the switch quick and easy. Everything has been running smoothly since. I’ll definitely be recommending ZavoPay to other businesses.

Cheap & worth it!

Was on the hunt for a new card machine for my small business and found Zavo, substantially cheaper than the rest and really efficient. My only annoyance is the machines battery life. It doesn't last very long at all so you have to keep it plugged in most of the day to avoid it losing battery.
