Y2MATE changes subscription prices without the customer's consent
Y2MATE changes subscription prices and takes the money without the customer's consent.
I bought Y2Mate DRM Downloader (All-in-One) annually subscription on 12-24-2022 for USD 38.93
This year on 12-24-2023, they renewed my subscription automatically with the amount of USD 59.9 and without asking my consent they took this amount from my card.
When I asked for explanations and asked to return my money, their answer was:
"The one you purchased was a subscription order, which was set to renew every year. We will cancel the subscription and stop the auto-renewal of order #in_1OQuVQGB6fTT...., you won't be charged for the next billing period.
Per our refund policy, I am afraid that we cannot accept the refund request for the renewal order. "
On their website, in the Purchase Policy section, it says:
"Refund Circumstances and Details:
Y2Mate offers a subscription plan for a monthly or yearly basis, so if you are not satisfied with the service, you can cancel or pause the subscription plan at any time. The cost of that month would be deducted, however, from the next month, we won't charge the subscription fee."
I also wrote to them about this but they did not reply.
I do not advise anyone to deal with these thieves.
