Overall I’m very satisfied with the completed product. Some of the laser start and end positions are undercut into the product surface which will now require careful grinding. Still good value and I will use Xometry again.

Excellent experience turning my CAD design into a real prototype
I had a great experience working with Xometry to produce a custom prototype from my CAD design. Great quality and price if you have relaxed R&D deadlines
We were able to get our unique curved bent sheet metal parts very easily at a reasonable price point through Xometry. The stainless steel versions actually turned out better than the initial aluminum prototypes. We were able to wait a few weeks and work on other projects to reduce the price.

Xometry Helped Me Make My Dream Come True
I am not a machinist or a parts designer but I had a dream of designing my own metal pendulum and then having it made for me. I worked with a CAD designer to get the design how I wanted. I found Xometry online and decided to go with a Laser Metal product to first see how that felt in my hands and using it. The process with Xometry of choosing the material and method for having it created was straight forward enough even for me a novice to the industry.
