Why order thru Zappos website only for it to be filled by Amazon. I will not order from them again. I never had this issue before but it’s been a year since ordering from there website.

I ordered a wallet for a Christmas exchange, what I received was a damaged, dirty wallet with no tags. I sent the package outside of the United States, so they do not provide any solution. I do not recommend buying from this page, they sell used and damaged things.

Wow. I just had never remembered such inattentive and slow shipping out with my $315.00+ order. Placed on 11/29/2024 and still hasn't shipped out or arrived as stated, Dec. 5 - 9th. I don't believe the falsehoods they tell me anymore. They lie, or they're just incompetent. My wife contacted their customer services by phone. They've said after I become a VIP status and after this order, the subsequent future ones would arrive much more quickly?! Makes no sense. They either "jack" you around purposely, OR they're just that incompetent. Worse yet, they don't care. I once held Zappos in a higher regard. No more. I'll just go locally and buy (it faster) where I live.

I ordered a pair of shoes from zappos tru the Amazon at work program I got an email saying package delivered but I didn't receive anything I called customer service and was told to wait 24 hours because sometimes they mark a package as delivered before its actually delivered 24 hours later still nothing so I called again they sent out a replacement same thing happened it said delivered but did not get anything they said to wait another 24 hours i called 24 hours later and was told to submit a report to the police and zappos was going to do an investigation to see what happened to my packages
Shortly after I posted this review I got an email saying my zappos account has been permanently closed

It’s a straight up SCAM. After seeing this comments I WAS going to purchase but after so many people complaining about wrong orders coming in or just their account being locked with no refund? You guys aren’t even a real company. It’s literally a scam. Not one person has gotten the correct shoe they ordered, or didn’t get a refund… how is this company still running. I’m thinking about reporting to ftc & bbb…have fun going to court Zappos lol this is the start of your downfall I promise you that. You’re sick being so comfortable taking peoples money like this.

They have off shored customer service and it is nothing like it used to be . I waited 2 weeks for a pair of shoes and had to make 4 calls to customer service to check on them . I’m done with Zappos

Ordered an item, received confirmation and then the order was "cancelled" just as several people below have stated. I changed my password and tried to log into my account and then my account was locked. Customer service stated that they were protecting me, from what? Zappos used to be a good shoe company. I will never order from them again. My credit card better not have been charged or I will file a complaint with the BBB and the FTC.

Zappos create platform on which pay people to create fake reviews. But before get paid commissions you need to "invest" your own money and if you don't have enough money and not finish 38 tasks there no way to get your money back. Dodgy business connected with creating fake clients accounts and crypto currency. Scam scheme business. Better stay away.
Locked my account for no reason when trying to order an item that came back in stock. By the time customer service was able to help me unlock the account, item had gone back out of stock. They refused to offer any kind of concession for the inconvenience.

I placed an order for shoes and received a confirmation. I received another email minutes later telling me that the order was canceled and my account is closed. I hadn’t created an account. I tried checking out as a guest. So I contacted customer service and they encouraged me to create an account. I then proceeded to create an account and re-order the shoes. I received a confirmation, followed by a cancellation once again. I tried calling customer service back and no one answered. I don’t know what this company is doing, but it seems like they’re trying to drive customers away.

I ordered an item from Zappos recently, I was sent a confirmation 1st, then I got a cancelation notice plus i was locked out my account. A charge is pending on payment acct but not deducted. Changed my password and I still can't get in to the site. I have shopped on here for years and now I prolly won't ever, Sad

Last January I returned a Timberline Madsen size 13 to Zappos. It was my error. I was supposed to send back a Timberline size 1.5. Unfortunately, I sent the Size 1.5 back to the retailer where I had purchased the size 13. For some reason, Zappos notified me months later using an old email address (not the one I had placed the orders of the past several years with) that I was locked out of. In November (10 months later!) my husband managed to get into the old email account and found a new email from Zappos saying that we never sent the boots back and that they were charging $85.60 back on our original payment method. I spent an eternity on the phone with Zappos customer service this morning. They were charging for the original size 1.5 which they hadn’t received back. Fair enough. But what about the size 13 (the same boot) I had sent back by mistake. Could I have them back since I had not bought them from Zappos and since Zappos would not refund for that purpose? No, I could not have them back. I assume they went into Zappos inventory and were sold.
Really bad business practice, if not fraudulent.
I once adored this stinker of a company.

The worst customer service on the planet. One day my order is shipped, the next day it is cancelled without my authorization. One day my order has arrived, and then, oops, it is cancelled because it is out of stock. Stay away from this company. Shop locally if you can.

I bought a pair of Hoka. Upon receipt I realized they have different sizing that other shoes so I asked for a return. The website showed a message telling I needed to call the store for that return. On the phone i was told that since I paid my items with a gift card I could not get a refund but a store credit. I explained that I paid with my American express not with a gift card . It took them 45 min to figure it out and they finally sent me a return label. 14 days after shipping it I still didnt get my refund. I called them again and they told me that they had received the shoes today ( of course) and it will take 30 days to proceed my refund !
No doubt those companies are going to go bankrupt… When you return a pair of shoes on Amazon you are getting your refund as soon as you drop the package …
What a scam , i m calling Amex to dispute the charge.
Zappos posted a response below but they keep on lying they were not able to assist me in any kind of way !

I had a frustrating experience, much like many others have mentioned. After being a loyal customer for over 10 years, I placed an order for two pairs of shoes for my son last night but never received a confirmation email. When I tried logging into my account, it was locked, prompting me to contact customer service. The chatbot eventually unlocked my account, but informed me that my order had been canceled. Not only was there no email confirmation, but I also wasn’t notified about the cancellation. The lack of communication and poor service was disappointing. I ended up ordering directly from the manufacturer for the same price. With so many alternatives available, this hassle just isn’t worth it.

As soon as I ordered I received a confirmation. Then my order was canceled with no explanation then I called and they did not answer so I emailed them and still have yet to get back to me. I believe this is a scamming website after reading the reviews. I would never try to purchase from this website again. BE CAREFUL OF THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!

I ordered boots recieved confirmation and they apparently canceled my order because they may have ran out?!?! Then my Zappos account was locked and put on hold until someone is around to help me...never again. Absolutely terrible. Very disappointed when looking forward to my boots. No call no email and locked out of my account so i could check on my order, for no reason

they cancelled my order and closed my account because i tried to have a pair of boots shipped to me at college… so my shipping address was different than billing. according to zappos, that’s “suspicious account activity”. unfudgingbelievable. zappos sent me a nasty note, cancelled my order and closed my account for literally no valid reason. screw zappos, they don’t deserve your business.

Beyond unhappy with zappos and their customer service. They wouldn't help me, were rude, spoke to me like I was dumb. I'm beyond pissed. I got an item marked final sale and I was not happy with it. Clearly shows in the pic the shirt is white, but the color says lavender. The shirt showed up purple. I thought there might have been an error in the color description. Sorry, but if I don't get exactly what is pictured, or if an item shows up damaged or defective, idc if it's "final sale" those should be exceptions, and I should be able to get a refund for it. Beyond unhappy with this company and this makes me want to be done purchasing from them.
Edit: they ended up refunding me for the shirt, but I'm still beyond unhappy with customer service, and again with what I explained above.
