Let us introduce ourselves. We're a family run business based in Irvine, Ayrshire. That's on the west coast of Scotland. You know, the place where it only rains for 364 days of the year. Anyway, hello and welcome! I suppose you're wondering who we are though rather than where we are. Am I right? Let me start off by telling you that the company has two different parts. First part... xs-stock-shop.jpg We've got a huge discount store based in the heart of Irvine - it's one of those giant warehouse-style shops with everything in it but the kitchen sink. Actually, we might even have one of those somewhere now that I think about it… Our shop measures about 25,000 sq. ft. which is pretty big. To put it into perspective that’s the same as around 915 Nissan Micras! Or 32 T-Rex! Or even 4166 Golden Retrievers! (Before you ask it’s a no, I’ve asked my wife and I’m 100% not allowed 4166 Golden Retrievers. Or a T-Rex). If you’re from Irvine or know it well, our shop is in the old B&Q building. We've been here selling top branded items at discount prices since way back in October 2000, time definitely flies. There's a large seasonal section in the shop that keeps our customers coming back too. It changes from the garden & outdoors to Halloween to Christmas throughout the year. Also, I've got to mention, we just love Halloween here at XS. Our shop is the only place to be at that time of year. You won't find a bigger range of costumes, accessories and party decorations anywhere else. But all that shopping is hard work, isn’t it? We know that, so we've even managed to squeeze a little café in so you can take a break mid-shop! The café’s a big hit with our regulars and it serves up the tastiest lunches, snacks, teas, coffees and my personal favourite…home baking! If you're watching your figure you can still eat here, but the cakes may be too much temptation for you. Julie Hodge runs the shop with her team today. Now... Julie is one of our Directors and married to Adrian, that’s me. I’m the Managing Director and Douglas is my Dad and a Director too. Try and keep up. Family structures can be complex. Second part... xs-stock-whouse.jpg We've got an online business too. I'm being a bit modest when I say it that way. It maybe sounds like we run the online business from the car park at the shop… The reality couldn't be further from that - we’ve actually got two huge warehouses in Irvine's Riverside Business Park which my dad and I run together. There are over 20 staff members here doing everything you can imagine like picking and packing orders, customer service, creating content for the web and more! Excellent products and customer service
I ordered a jewellery box a dog toy and some cleaning pads and every item was excellent especially the jewellery box, the quality was really lovely, its a small one perfect for my 8 year old neice. Apart from the items I have to give top marks for the customer service. Royal mail messed up my delivery and once I'd let them know that it was still with royal mail they offered me replacements or a refund. I chise the replacements and they arrived two days later. Would definitely buy from them again

Only place that sells a aroma jumping spider cheap!
This website is a lifesaver, i've always wanted a jumping spider from aroma, but they always seem to be upwards of £100, this place has them for £35... I'm blown away and so happy to own one, 100% recommend.

Fantastic value, I'd never heard of this company, so glad some items popped up when I was searching for makup brushes. Items were shipped almost immediately after my order. Excellent customer service
I ordered 2 things as Christmas presents & had tracking details with Royal Mail. On the day it was due to be delivered I got the RM message saying it had been delivered, however, they delivered somewhere I’d never heard of with a photo of a cage with lots of parcels in it. My first thought was is this a scam? Anyway I emailed xs stock & had a response within 10 minutes, it transpired that RM had delivered to the post sorting office close to xs stock. I was then offered either a full refund or re send my order. I chose re send & it’s being delivered as next day delivery! Can’t emphasise enough what brilliant customer service I have received from xs stock! Thank you!

Cafe
We went to the cafe today and while me and my daughter were queuing we told her partner and young child to take a seat, the cafe had plenty of empty seats. A short while and he came back saying he could not sit down even though he was carrying a small child in his arms and would have to wait in the queue till we all were ready to sit down. I found this ridiculous never mind a young father with his young son what if that had been an elderly person were they expected to receive the same treatment. I could see the member of staff doing this if the cafe had been really busy and very few vacant seats but the cafe was not at this time and had many vacant places. This is the first time I have come across this sort of thing and have lived abroad in a few different countries never mind quite a few different places in Scotland and I hope not to come across this again. Needless to say we will not be back

Would not even give this company 1star! Company falsely advertised an item in both title and description! Item is completely different to what I ordered from website description, customer service have advised the description is Turkish (I’m in ENGLAND!!) so charging me £10 to return the item I did not order!!! Honest business, everything as described
I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw the prices were reduced so much, admittedly half expecting to receive something damaged or incorrect after misfortunes with other affordable businesses. Well I was pleasantly surprised with the opposite experience. Fast delivery, everything as described and well delivered, with tracking included. There is no catch, this is an honest business and they just sell excess stock as the name suggests. I recommend them.
