Scam, says they will do something, but it comes out as half assed just to look like they have done something

I was not knowledgeable on SEO and websites and I should've researched more, I trusted them to build a website for me and was not informed that the SEO would be a recurring payment, the SEO was not a big deal but then upon taking off the SEO now I have to pay again. Upon declining their services, I will also lose the website which I paid for $449 without any contract. Unprofessional, what they charge does not reflect the quality of their work. Please stay away from them.

My experience with Xlr8 agency managed by main sales person (ommited due to privacy terms in TP), was considerably below my expectations. At StackTome (pre-revenue/product market fit product company) we have been using them for 5 months with price point of low 4-figures.

Main expecations was to get relevant leads for our product from the ecommerce business which to be fair we got very mixed results, as all the people they found where outside of our target market/qualification. After 3 months of use I decided to change tactics and find competitor users to talk to to understand better our positioning. In which case I expected this to be a much easier outreach campaign. Thought even with the well defined company, lead list and outreach copy and even incentives for people to talk to, everything provided from my side, the agency failed to deliver any booked meetings in 8 weeks, while I managed to get bookings doing this part time in 2 weeks doing the same thing, for a fraction of the cost. The only thing I got for the last 8 weeks from sales person was excuses:

- research is very difficult and cost a lot of money to do so you shouldn't do it
- we have constant problems with software and cannot do any outreach
- you shouldn't do research in the first place but rather go sell directly and come up with value proposition from your head without talking to potential customers
- when I ask can you give me your results of how many people were contacted he would change the subject and would never reply to such emails on this matter

So all in all I would't recommend them for cold outreach, but partly it was my fault to leave it to hope rather than to accountability and transparent process of how agency does their work.

I leave this feedback just for future clients like myself who couldn't verify confidently about the results they could expect from the following agency.
