Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company. They claim my 5 year contract was auto-renewed for 1 year because I did not inform them of my decision to not renew. However, don't fall for it!
Under Australian consumer law and unfair contract term reforms, the auto-renewal clause must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. Hiding it in fine print or not providing a clear notice makes it unenforceable.
They wanted to charge a $300 collection fee plus 3 months rental. Extremely unethical company. Avoid them at all costs!
This company is a nightmare to deal…
This company is a nightmare to deal with. I first tried cancelling my contract back in July and since then I’ve been fobbed off, misled, and strung along. I was passed between sales agents and call centre staff, left sitting on hold for ages, and was finally told that my account had been cancelled.
Then in September they suddenly email me claiming I have to give 90 days’ notice and will be billed until mid-October. So after being told it was sorted, they now want more money out of me. It’s nothing short of a scam.
The whole process has been deliberately confusing, completely unprofessional, and shows zero respect for customers. They make it easy to sign up but nearly impossible to get out.
Avoid this company at all costs. If this is how they treat people trying to leave, I can only imagine how badly they treat their existing customers.
Neglect servicing that is in a contract
My workplace has two units from them. We are on a contract which includes 2 services per year - a filter should be replaced and the units cleaned on a 6 monthly basis.
They always need chasing and prompting to come out. This has been an issue for years. Our servicing has blown out several months now where we will have skipped at least one service we are paying for. Now they are Culligan and I just chased a service as we have not seen anyone since October 2024 and it's nearly July 2025!!
Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company. I originally purchased a very expensive Culligan reverse osmosis water system in 2001 and had annual services performed. Some years ago I was informed that the company could no longer source the required filters and parts and was convinced to purchase a new, very expensive replacement system. I wasn't very happy about this as it meant that I had then paid twice for the system. The company later became Waterlogic. In the years since initial purchase, I have seen the service cost more than double and as a pensioner I can no longer manage to pay the extortionate service fee. The company has now reverted to the Culligan name. I would give this company minus stars if it was possible. In my experience they are not good enough to be rated even as a one star.
Ignore the good reviews, notice they are all the first time reviewers
We experienced a faulty machine that took 10 weeks to resolve (over summer). Our contract was over 6 months ago. We never recieved an annual service, however they advised that the replacement was considered a service. We are now closing our business and have provided notice of roughly 1.5 months, however we did not know it was a 90 day notice period. and are going to be charged accordingly.
Disappointing and unsatisfactory service
We have been waiting a long time to hear from service about a date to upgrade our undersink filter system. When we called on Friday 30/8/24 we found out that unbeknown to us a service was scheduled for Monday 2/9/24. Two different individuals on the day promised someone would call and inform us of time. Not only it did not happen but no one turned up. We had to cancel other commitments we had so we can be available for the service. Calling the next day, we are told everyone is in a meeting and someone will call us back.

Avoid this company altogether
Avoid this company altogether.
Dodgy pushy salesman, willing to tell you anything in order to get you sign a contract. Read the fine print carefully.
If this company truly believed in their quality of their product they would not need to trap people with cancellation fees.
Biggest scammers alive

Do not sign a contract with this…
Do not sign a contract with this company. They sign you up to a water filter and they do not service it at all and lock you into ongoing payments that you can never get out of. When you ring or email they send you round and round to get out of closing your account. We are still trying to cancel two filters from 2021 that have never been serviced ever. Terrible.

DO NOT USE WATERLOGIC
Waterlogic are above and beyond THE WORST company to deal with in any matter of professional service, account management or physical maintenance. Their lack of professional help or assistance in any of those matters is simply astounding.
A number of our units had been left un-serviced and inoperable for months on end without any notice or remedy from their technicians, yet we were still charged every month without fail - one might consider such actions as fraudulent.
And I have been waiting over 5 months now for multiple units to be collected from at least 5-6 different work sites after cancelling their contracts due to both the above non-existent maintenance we were being charged for, and the "shoulder shrugging" customer service we received after questioning our account manager on the matter.
And not to forget; they are still issuing invoices on the expired and cancelled contract to this very day.
It is so far beyond my understanding as to how anyone in their right mind would run a business as poorly as Waterlogic seem to do so effortlessly, carelessly and without any shame whatsoever.
DO NOT ENGAGE THIS COMPANY, EVER.

Stalked & Assaulted by Waterlogic Employee
On the 14th November, 2023, I was stalked and assaulted by an employee of Purezza and Waterlogic, and I wanted to share my experience with potential customers and current clients who may be unaware what kind of people they employ to represent their company.
On Tuesday, the 14th November, 2023, at approximately 2.45 pm, I was heading in the direction of the beach and near the corner of Queen St, on Main St, in Mornington, 3931, where I was involved in a verbal altercation with a male in his twenties, started by him when I turned around to see who was at my right shoulder. He confronted me aggressively, while brandishing what looked like a sharp weapon, and pointed at me and said, "I've been following you all the way down Main St." He was wearing a Purezza and Waterlogic work shirt and he had a box under his arm. He appeared to be a courier. I told him to f off. There was no physical contact.
There happened to be a zebra crossing right there, and I tried to extricate myself and diffuse the situation by crossing the road and by heading in the direction of Barkly St. Following me, the guy crossed the road as I did and yelled at me in order to attract attention and what he hoped for, a mob mentality. Why he thought anyone would be on his side is beyond me.
I ran across Main St and headed up Alfred St where I flagged down a taxi that happening to be passing. I got in the back of the taxi, closed the door, and explained the situation to the taxi driver. The guy who was stalking me opened the front door of the taxi, and created a scene so the taxi driver couldn't and wouldn't drive off.
I got out of the taxi and headed up Octavia St with this guy, the Purezza and Waterlogic employee, following me, and I zig zagged through the carpark, all the while telling the guy who was right behind me to "F Off", "Get Lost" and "Stop following me", until I came to the corner of Empire St and Waterloo Place.
My intention at this point, as it had always been, was to get away from this maniac, and Empire St/Waterloo is a short walk from my home.
It became clear at this point that he had no intention of backing off and fearful of my safety and not wanting him to know where I lived, I stopped walking, yelled, "Get away from me!" and there was a scuffle.
The bottom of my locked bag broke, and the contents skidded across the pavement. The moment I bent down to pick up the contents of my bag, the Purezza and Waterlogic employee lunged at me and smashed me on the side of my face with his fist while I was kneeling down and zipping up the bag. I got up and defended myself. He called the police and I waited patiently.
By this time it was around 3pm. The police showed up and noted the graze to the side of my face. I made no admissions and neither did the other guy. The police took photos of my injuries; I gave them my contact information and they informed me that they would gather CCTV footage of what took place.
I came home, made an appointment at Beach End Medical Center and attended at 4.30pm that day and saw my GP, Dr Yong Yu. He noted the injuries to my face. He cleaned the abrasion, gave me a tetanus shot, and referred me for a CT scan which was carried out the next morning, the 15th November, at the Bays Hospital on Main St. I also officially made a report of the assault to Mornington Police Station a few days later.

Attentive and supportive services…
Attentive and supportive services especially Peter Birch who assisted us with our installation of the office WL7 and home Zip tap here in Perth while he was stationed in QLD. Even with initial teething issues those were fully resolved and the following up calls post installation were definitely appreciated. We will review again when the scheduled servicing is due in 6 months and see whether the quality assurance has been up kept. So far a great experience and the product quality is excellent.
Dreadful turnaround of more than two…
Dreadful turnaround of more than two months. Only cared about the sale. Pushy then didn't care. Missing base (even though stipulated many times), missing bottles for promotion. Purchased for two site.

Difficult, inflexible, rude, condescending, arrogant, un-helpfull, slow, poor communication skills, too many chiefs not enough Indians, but chiefs who do nothing. Would give less than one star if available
