I purchased some solar window film cut…
I purchased some solar window film cut to size, I also purchased the squeegee and solution from them to apply the film.
Delivery was fast (to UK), customs/duty had to be paid which was expected (20% plus £12 handling fee).
Film was cut to the right dimension.
However when applied, as per the instructions using the products they sold to me, the film has lots of scratches. These are on all windows so looks pretty bad when the sun is shining on them.
Only reply I got was "Such scratches are usually a sign that too little water was used or the hard side of a squeegee with too much pressure on the edges".
Needless to say I would not purchase this film from them again. The film is very soft and scratces easily with the products they sell/provide.

The instructions included in the delivery did not include the additional step of wrapping a soft towel round the squeegee per the reply.
Very disappointed with the product overall. Fine scratches all over the film when the sun shines on it - so it looks terrible.

As noted in our installation instructions, it is essential to wrap the squeegee with a soft kitchen towel during application. This step helps to prevent scratches, especially on more delicate films like the one you purchased.
Unfortunately, it seems this critical step might have been missed, which likely led to the marks you observed. This is not a fault of the film itself, but rather a common installation error. When the squeegee is used without proper padding, even with the correct amount of solution, it can leave scratches—particularly if too much pressure is applied.
