First Rate Camera Bag

I purchased the Vanguard Alta Sky 42 and could not be happier with it. My genre is mainly birding but also landscape so I needed something to hold a long lens and others also. I use OM Systems and this holds the 150-400mm (Big White) nicely along with other lenses that are needed and camera bodies. There is space for other accessories plus facilities to attach monopod/tripod. There is even a pull out waterproof cover. Altogether, a first rate camera bag.

Vanguard Endeavor ED Binoculars - Defective Eye Cup

I had to contact Vanguard as one of the eye cups on my set of Vanguard Endeavor ED Binoculars had become defective.
The team at Vanguard were great and the service and support provided was second to none.
They helped in identifying the defective part, spoke to me and sent a video on how to replace the part, had the part mailed out the same day and it arrived with me the next day.
Brilliant customer service and support.

I have ordered and paid for a…

I have ordered and paid for a Binocular. But they shipped the same but not delivered and returned. It’s not my fault. After I have contacted through mail and WhatsApp to a person named Liz. But her response was very poor. Now almost two months over. They never reship or refund my money. My order number is ORDER #7936. Paid 200£. It was a bad experience. If anyone responsible other than this Liz. Please respond.

Thank you for you review which I have looked into, and my apologies for the confusion. This falls well short of the service we aim to offer, as evidenced by the other reviews on this site.

Looking at the circumstances, you placed the order on Saturday 13th December and following a quick address correction, the order was shipped on 16th December. Unfortunately DPD were unable to deliver the product and returned it to the warehouse. You should have been notified by the team, but this did not occur and you emailed on the 22nd December asking for an update. Following this contact you asked for the product to be delivered after 10th January which was confirmed by the team.

The order was then processed for the 10th January as agreed, and the team assumed it would go as normal until your email at 8:14pm on Friday 23rd January, followed by a second email on the morning of Monday 26th January. All off which led to some WhatsApp messages and emails which ended with a view to sharing an update on Monday 29th January on the status of the delivery. This update was missed, resulting in this completely valid review.

Looking into the January delivery, the order for the 10th January was not processed due to a question over the internal order number which was not escalated back to the team. This was compounded by the lack of proactive communication to you. There are some contributory reasons why that occurred, but none are enough to justify the communication so I won’t waste time listing them here.

It was our error.

The order is being shipped today.

We are looking at the internal processes to avoid a repeat, both at the office and the warehouse, and I have asked the team to process a 25% refund on your order.

In light of the experience, if you would like a full refund, just ask DPD to return the product to the warehouse and let the team know. On receipt of the returned product, the team will process a full refund.

My apologies, for the inconvenience.

Fantastic customer service.

I had a minor technical issue with a pair of binoculars I had purchased a couple of years previously. I contacted the customer service department at Vanguard, who asked me to send them the binoculars, telling me they had a lifetime guarantee. I did so, and expected to be told the cost of a repair. Instead, they sent me a brand new pair and apologised for the issue experienced - absolutely no quibble or delay. They also send me back a protective case I had sent the original binoculars in.
Unbelievable service from Vanguard - so unusual in today's world!
Can't praise them enough for their response to my issue, and it has encouraged me to promote the brand to anyone looking to buy a quality, value for money pair of binoculars, in the secure knowledge that use of them will be hastle free.

Brilliant customer service

I purchased a Veo Select 41 backpack which has given me great service, it's a comfortable and versatile pack that carries all of my M43 kit easily.

I bought a bigger tripod because of I needed more height but the ball head wasn’t man enough to hold my Nikon 600 mm so I purchased a different ball head as well at a good price the only thing is the rubber feet on the tripod are hard to get off so I can change them to spikes little bit of pulling required to remove them but in the end I got the rubber feet off to charge them but all in all everything is ok regardless delivery was quick and easy ordering was great no problem and customer service was fantastic thank you

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service.
Sometimes the best way to evaluate a company is by how they deal with problems. There was an issue with the postal service which was not their fault. I was due to leave the country in a matter of days. Vanguard resent the two bags I had ordered by urgent delivery to ensure I got them before my flight. They kept me updated by telephone and text. Excellent customer service!
