I have a very good experience at toys r us Mina zayed branch (UAE) the staff are very helpful especially a guy I think his name is “Will” he has professional attitude. And the cashier chariza is helpful as well.

Absolutely dreadful experience with…

Absolutely dreadful experience with this company, after making me wait 3 days for a credit card check they very swiftly took my money but no order confirmation? This place does not know what I have paid for? I was asked to take a screenshot of my order! How do I do this when I didn’t receive one? This has been going on for over a week now! They are refusing to refund me pending a warehouse investigation!! What an absolute joke!! A group of monkeys could run this place better than these people!! Needless to say I have now got the bank involved with this lot! Please avoid this place like the plague!! It’s teaming with fraud!! Still waiting of my refund?? !!! Very angry!!

Appalling service

Appalling service, ordered and paid express delivery, it took to long to come and to my surprise it was not what I ordered, I ordered a $70.00 sewing machine and got $10.00 worth of Paw Patrol rubbish. No response.
Just terrible service.

Toy’s R US I figured out how y’all should reopen y’all stores head quarters for Toys “R” Us I hope you get this message I figured out how to bring back y’all company and stores y’all should create gaming R Us where are y’all sell any electronics example Apple products Nintendo switch PS PlayStation Xbox LED light strips etc. please I hope to see this one day and that will make a lot of money because GameStop doesn’t really sell those things that people ask for that are gaming related but that’s not what I’m trying to say but well what I’m trying to say is that y’all should create a gaming store

The worst MANAGER service ever

The worst customer service ever - I just got off the phone with them about the car seat that I was sold on 2 months ago.

I called to complain that Graco car seat does not give a safety that I am looking for and I nicely explained that when I was buying a car seat I was told by the sales person that I should not but Uppa baby car seat as I will be paying for brand and Graco is giving the same support for less money so as I first time mom I went with the educated person suggested.

Today when I nicley explained the situation I was offered to buy jolly jumper head hugger which of course they are out of and then the Manager Department Makayla suggested that I should not slam on breaks then she proceeded to give me a pep talk on how all their car seats are safety approved and there is nothing she can do and she is sorry that I was pressured into buying a car seat - totally ignoring the fact that I was not pressured instead I was advised by trained sales associates that I should buy one Graco over Uppababy one.
So here I am now I first time mom that has to buy a different car seat and spend extra money on something that was not necessary and on top of that manager that is trained on how to NOT listen what a customer has to say and only say what she has to say.

I was not calling to return the car seat since I understand it is due to safety however to see if there is anything the store could do since the car seat was bought based on their suggestions as there were someone we trusted.

I would not even bother to write this review and I would’ve just went to buy a different car seat again at Toys are Us if the manager showed ANY understanding instead of telling me that there is nothing she can do and I should not slam on my breaks.

idiocracy

They took out the gender filter on the website, so now you can't narrow your search options down to boys toys, or girls toys. Effectively destroying a major part of the sites functionality. I cant imagine why they'd decide this was a good idea, but it's not helping anybody. It just makes it more difficult to use their website.

I went to the "Ask a Question" area for…

I went to the "Ask a Question" area for a toy I was considering. I submitted my question about purchasing accessories and also asked the manufacturer the same question. I received an answer last week -- 2 YEARS after I submitted the question. The answer was a non-answer, telling me to contact the manufacturer. I then published a comment pertaining to the long wait for a non-answer and received an email indicating my comment would not be published, as it did not meet the Toys R Us guidelines. I surmise the guidelines are such that only positive comments will be accepted. I have also had problems in the past with receiving the wrong item, receiving two items not ordered and the painful efforts to rectify these problems.

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible, just horrible customer service! Ordered a toy online for my son, they said it was in stock. Go to pick it up within the 72 hours as they advised, and then they tell me it is not avail. I checked, now all stores are sold out of the item. Staff do not care at all, this was at the Argentia location in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. 3 days later, they are still holding my funds on my card for a product that I never received.

The toys are just amazing

The toys are just amazing! But the shipment didn't come in time for my kids' birthday. They said it's due to Covid. I explained to him but you know how kids are... getting upset. Lousy experience, although the quality and the toys themselves are really something special!

Fraudulent

Purchased a Christmas gift Dec 16 online. It was returned to the shipper for unknown reasons on December 22. I have tried to contact the company 6 times now and they refuse to get back to me. Buyer beware! They will take your money without you receiving items and ignore you. You cannot call.

Had to return items to toyrus near me in Markville mall now I had lost my receipt and was told as long as bought on my visa I could return so when I got there the return lady told me no I had to contact the store in Thor hill my self talk to manager to sent info to return that took over 40 min to do then the manager sent by email . Now I had the receipt online I gave to return just to be told I get credit that was now bull because I got the receipt they didn’t want to check there computer where I had to the work and now I get credit what the heck what the point now if I got the bill to return I am very upset now and will tell you I and anyone I see tell them not to buy from toyrus because there customer helps is zero
In the end I stuck with credit that I don’t want anything in the store to buy could have just sold them on Kijiji to get my money back

Fraudulent and pathetic service.

Absolutely appalling and pathetic service and fraud! Stay away from this company. We didn’t authorise a credit card payment and cancelled the order. However one month later they sent an email saying they have verified the order and shipped it and charged our card over $200. Customer service is pathetic and won’t even respond to our emails! And don’t even think about trying to call the number as it just keeps ringing and ringing.

Customer service seems non-existent
It says to respond to the email if you have any questions... but they don't have any employees actually answering those emails

They failed to deliver and cancelled three of my orders in the matter of 1-2 months

Pretty sure the Canadian branch will go under eventually just like the US one

I wouldn't buy stuff from this place
