The reviews are for the wrong teahouse :)
Hello, this is TheTeahouse.co.uk here - we don't actually sell ceramic caddies, we only have one size of silver tin caddy, so I think you may be confusing us with theteahouseltd?

I would give zero stars if possible.
Bought set of 3 ceramic caddies. First delivery went missing and I was left to chase it with their courier company.
I asked for a refund. They ignored me and sent out a replacement…. weeks later.
It arrive with one of the items in the set smashed.
Again I asked for a refund. Again I was ignored and told they’d send another replacement.
I asked again for a refund and for them to arrange a return.
I was offered a partial refund.
Again request for refund and return ignored.
Emailed again and again they tried to get me to keep the partial set.
I have now emailed them yet again and had to state verse and chapter re consumer rights and threaten further action.
Absolutely useless and non existent customer service.
This has been going on for weeks now, I’m beginning to think it’s some sort of practical joke.
I bought 2 tea caddies - a tall and a compact one. Firstly they have cloth on the base of the lid which is not cut to size properly so bits stick out when the lid is on. Maybe this is intended but I think it just looks shoddy so I trimmed them myself. Secondly I found them much smaller than I expected in both height and width - the photos online are quite misleading I think. They look a bit lost on a kitchen surface. The glaze and colour is very nice and as expected. But all in all given the price (and I bought them at a sale price) I think they’re quite poor value for money
Received a number of lovely teas from The Tea House - all really lovely with great service and a speedy delivery.
I chanced on this site 20 years ago by accident (trying to follow up on a ref) and have been ordering tea from them ever since. It's always arrived on time and as advertised. Good customer service. Great quality and range - I tried a number of other sites to begin with, but have stuck with The Teahouse.
Unscrupulous business ethics .☹️👋🏼 No morale nor customer confidence Ordered item in good faith at published price and told package was lost or out of stock and later found out they increased prices and now only will sell it at higher prices.
Untrustworthy and T&C unreliable .
Beware
I have also been a customer for 10+ years. Always good selection and quality. Quite a few organic teas. Timely delivery and well packaged.
I've been ordering for The Tea House from 2008. All deliveries were on time and all the time products are good. I've always enjoyed tea supplied by them and never had any problems.
I purchased loose leaf Japanese Sencha recently and it was nothing like it at all. Does not taste anything like sencha! I emailed them to say how disappointed I was but never received an acknowledgement. Just a polite reply would have been sufficient as I didn’t expect anything else.
