Ordered a 3/4 Barrell, village pump, water feature. Slight issue with order, but was quickly sorted by Helen. Item arrived on a pallet, very well packaged. Looks great in the garden and very good value.

I had a very good experience with this company .
12 half barrels.
Great price ,good communications great delivery.
And most of all the barrels were excellent.
Still drunk on he fumes 😅

Ordered five barrels for a project on my house. The service throughout was excellent. Phoned the company for advice and the customer service throughout was brilliant. The barrels were dispatched promptly, well packaged and with me a few days later. The quality of all barrels and ancillaries was very good and they are now in place as water butts. My experience was first rate and I thoroughly recommend The Barrel Makers to potential customers.

I was exploring water butt options, trying to do my bit for the environment, but all were plastic, expensive and not very attractive. Then I happened upon The Barrel Makers, who also are local to us (but deliver nationally). Their staff were incredibly helpful (and speedy) with my enquiry. And I am now the proud owner of 2 fabulous water butts (old whisky barrels), which look amazing (and even smell authentic, though that aspect is fading). I am delighted with product and service. Thanks so much the Barrel Makers. It is great to support sustainable/recycled products to help the environment and support a small (and for me, local) business.

I bought a barrel 8 months ago.
Two of the staves have broken and of course it leaks.
The firm refuses to replace it.

I ordered a 100 litre barrel to use as a water butt for my greenhouse. It’s in view from the house and the plastic or artificial wood ones aren’t to my taste.
It came super quick and is the perfect size and proportions. The removable lid is ideal for dunking a medium sized watering can without the need for a tap.
The wood comes quite pale so I added a light coat of Danish oil to bring out the grain and add some colour and it’s great.

I have been looking for a decent barell supplier for over a year before coming across The Barell Co, I ordered a 50l oak barrel it was delivered within 7 days of order, perfectly made, perfect toasting and charr inside. The oak is 1st class and as a carpenter I know my timbers. 10/10 all round I'll be back for more from now on

Avoid this company. I waited weeks for delivery, with the blame for delay being put on the delivery service. Then I paid a gardener to transplant my plants from the old half-barrel, which had lasted at least 15 years. Within a couple of weeks the wood turned black and so did the water. after a month, there was a rancid smell from the water and my my plants turned black. I lost at least £70 worth of plants, including a treasured miniature water-lily. My complaints and messages to the customer services were ignored and my emails blocked. it seems that a few customers have been treated fairly but many others have not. This company should not be allowed to trade.

Placed an order for 4 x deep planters, then thought I'd made a mistake when I read previous reviews.
Needn't have worried ~ excellent communication, fast delivery, good quality product (all staves fixed, rings pinned all round.)
If cared for correctly should last for years.
Recommend.

This company does not even deserve 1 star. They take your money very efficiently, but then everything else does not work. Non delivery, receipt, contradictions, denials, refusal to sort out problems and give refunds. A truly shocking experience: DO NOT BUY, you will be disappointed.

Totally agree with everyone's reviews, my order went through 2 weeks down the line I had a email on a Friday afternoon saying they haven't got it in stock and they have a alternative instead so I agreed.
2 weeks down the line again they said it was sent off nothing at all.
So Asked for a refund and I still havent received for 6 days.
Totally avoid this company....

I would put zero stars if I could, don’t buy from these! After 2 weeks of waiting I emailed them and was told they’d put a chaser on my order, then nothing! No replies to my email, then I looked at the reviews but too late! I spent £42 and they won’t answer the phone. Absolutely despicable company !

Bought a product from this company. Not in stock. Was told the Transaction was a failed Transaction and no refund necessary. This is despite the funds being taken from my account. The company refuses to engage with me and is refusing to give me a refund. I am now having to instigate small claims Proceedings. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I ordered a 32” Barrel and I took receipt of a 32” Barrel just over 1 week later. Considering the COVID situation, that’s pretty good. I found the customer services to be helpful and transparent. The quality of the product is exactly what I was looking for at a fare price. Thankyou Barrel Makers. I would certainly order through you guys again. Top marks from me.
