Buyer BEWARE!!!!!

I bought a motherboard for a customer and paid for 3 day shipping. I still have not received it a week later. Calls do not get returned and no one answers their emails. Based on their reviews it sounds like this is a pretty common issue with them.

I would never purchase from them for a customer again. Now one of my best customers is second guessing me. I should have known better.

Impossible to contact

I ordered a product from them 2 weeks ago. They said it would arrive in 4-6 business days but it hasn't nor have I even received an email, as promised, letting me know that my order has been shipped.
I called once to request a tracking number or any information really about the status of my order. The representative was very polite and said that he could not help me at the moment but would email me or call me back with the number. I never got that call. I have since called 5 more times all straight to voicemail. I've left a message each time with no response. I have sent two emails also with no response.

Other reviews are saying they often are out of stock on an item but their website is not updated and still let's you place an order for it. I'm assuming that's the case with my order as I know it has been discontinued. If you don't have the product that's fine, just let me know so I can search elsewhere.

Worst service ever!

Placed an online order on 9/7. No reply until I sent a followup email on 9/15 only to be informed the item was back-ordered and they expected a shipment in the next 5 business days. Authorized the purchase on 9/16 based on this expectation only to see 5 days come and go AGAIN with no response/update. Sent a followup email on 9/29 and have not heard anything from anyone! It's been nearly 4 weeks and I just contacted my credit card company to start dispute proceedings. Is THIS what you call customer service? I'm amazed they're even in business...BUYER BEWARE!

DO NOT BOY FROM THIS COMPANY

This company seemed okay initially during the purchasing process, but when the item I received was DOA and I had to return it and then when I got the replacement (could have been same one) and it was DOA I said OH NO.
Since then I haven’t been able to get anyone to return any of my calls or email. I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB and we’ll see what happens. If you’re considering making a purchase I’d recommend staying away from this company.

I am sorry you are having problems , but this 2nd unit we sent you was tested twice before we sent it to you so we could avoid this type of issue. Something must be going wrong on your end , you got this 2nd power supply on Thur 7/31/2014 1:11 pm and you are telling me a month later that you have another issue again and that its DOA, again it was tested before it shipped out to you , since it has been so long since you got it , the best I can do is have you ship it back to us and we can confirm that you did not blow the power supply or if it is defective by your cause and if not then we can send you another replacement only. We do our best to help all our customers the best we can.

Super helpful, very friendly and surprisingly knowledgeable in a lot of areas.

I was looking for some video cards and surveillance equipment that I couldn't find for the life of me.. After talking to Frank, he actually found a cross for my card that would work for my application and had it in stock. He asked me my plans for them and I told him what I was working on and that I had to find some good cameras. He recommended a few of them and sent me some info about them. After researching the cameras... I bought set and they work great! Thanks Frank for all your help! You made this super easy for me.

cannot contact

I haven't bought anything yet because Ive been trying to get a hold of them for over a week with no responses to emails or phone messages left. Every time I call i receive a recording telling me all representatives are busy please leave a message and one will get back to you as soon as possible. They haven't yet. it shouldn't take that long to get a response. All i want is a simple answer.

Legit service - yet, uninformative.

I placed an order on a computer case that's no longer being manufactured by the original manufacturers on a Sunday hoping it would come before the week was over.
Shortly after my order, an automated confirmation email was sent.

An entire week went by; nothing. I decided to call them that Monday.
The employee on the phone informed me that they had in fact sent me an email the day after I placed my order, however after checking thoroughly, I could not find the email anywhere.
He also said that they didn't even have the case in stock, and it would take two weeks to get it in.

So I decided to wait. Two days went by and I decided to call them again just to check up on things.
The employee on the phone then re-informed me that it would take up to two months to get the case in stock. I could wait two weeks, but two months would be too much considering I'd be out of state by then working on a project.

So, shortly after I sent in a cancellation email.

Its been a week since I've sent the cancellation email in.. still haven't got a reply from them, I'll probably have to end-up calling them and cancelling..
I'm not going to blame them for this, being a programmer myself who's developed his fair share of websites, I know that emailing systems can be tricky.


In short:
They aren't scammers, the website is in fact legit. But:
Don't trust the website, just because they have a product shown doesn't mean it's actually in stock. This isn't their fault though, managing a huge inventory isn't easy, I know.

I highly recommend calling them before placing your order and checking on the status of a item's availability.

I am sorry , but we did send an email to this customer letting him know that we were out of stock and that we have not charged his credit card and could put them on back order and let him know when we get more or just cancel all together which is what this customer asked us to do so his order was canceled and the customers personal information has been removed from our database. I must say that no company on the internet has a 100% inventory accuracy, NOT even your local BestBuy , but we dont charge our customer till we confirm stock first and process an order UNLIKE most all internet companies and we also get back to the customer right away to let them know whats going on so they can decide what they want to do, UNLIKE most companies. So you see, we do our best to help all our customer the best we can, but if you do have a problem and seem to not get a reply via email , PLEASE call us 210-568-9105 and speak to a rep so that we can help you, BEFORE you give us a review, especially if it not a good one, because we take pride in helping our customers.

I have bought from Tamayatech a few times.

Tamayatech haste hard to find products and have bought a few times from them, they have supplied my company with networking products for years and because they have gov. Cage number , it allows us to purchase a lot of products from them because it makes it easier to do so. And I must also say when they don't have what I need, they try real hard to find it for me which I think is great customer service.

Does not inform customers of out of stock items

I am sorry for any inconvenience but we do try very hard to take care of our customers and is why we checked for the customer if any were available in distribution rather than just saying sorry we can't help you right now. We do get these in from overseas distributors and can supply them sometimes. We have over 2 million products on our site which makes it very hard to keep it updated with availability, but we do try very hard update as much as possible. POOR, POOR, VERY POOR

We ordered our goods a month ago and they still have not shipped. We contact them via all 3 phone numbers and no call back or warm body on the other end. We email them and get no response. The customer we ordered for thinks the worst.

No customer support AT ALL

I've been trying to order a motherboard from this company for the past 3 months. They keep saying that they have it in stock on the site, but then they email me saying, "Hi, the product you have requested was on back order. The last shipment came
in today and the product they sent us was not correct. We don't know how
much longer it will take us to get the correct product in, so we can keep
your order on back order and let you know when it comes in and if you still
need it at that time, we can ship it to you then, or we can cancel your
order. I am sorry, You have not been charged and your order has been
canceled for now. Please let us know what you would like us to do thank you"

I ordered the product once 3 months ago, and then ordered it again today, and they sent the same email for both times giving me that lame excuse like it is not their fault. I've replied, but still haven't heard from them yet. I've even tried calling, but I got a lame excuse saying that all of their representatives are busy and that I should leave a message instead of waiting. I've called again, same thing. I can't ever speak to a person.

This company is HORRIBLE!!
