BEWARE!!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
Went into the showroom a couple weeks ago looking for a new sofa. The salesperson I dealt with (Justin) was indeed very friendly & helpful and after trying out many sofas, I decided on a particular Rosen Pewter model by their "Minhas" brand, paid for it & had it delivered that day.
I was so excited on my way home looking forward to my new purchase.
Unfortunately, the sofa that was delivered to me is nothing like the one in the showroom & never in a million years would I have purchased it knowing what was to be delivered. I honestly can't believe there are so many issues with this sofa.
The attached seat cushions don't align properly & always divide themselves so trying to find a comfortable position to sit is nearly impossible as you're either tight up against the edge feeling crooked, or falling between them. The top of the cushions are 44 inches high when stated as 38 so this also adds to the discomfort & the worst thing is the lower back cushions protude out so much that it actually hurts my back when sitting as it takes your breath away as it's pushing against you so much.
In all honesty, I'm not even able to sit on it any longer & have been sitting on the floor for days now.
Furthermore, the rails attaching the back along the sides are loose. It doesn't even go together properly & the entire frame of the sofa creaks & cracks whenever you move.
It sounds like it was built with nothing but popsicle sticks.
Very, very disappointed with this purchase & if this is the norm for this store & it's merchandise I highly recommended staying far, far away.
From seeing what others are saying about their non existent return policy/customer service I'm not expecting much from them so thinking I'll have to follow up with the next appropriate route. Whether that is contacting the BBB, THE Canadian Competition Bureau, etc it will most definitely be done. In addition to contacting the appropriate consumer routes, I will also be contacting as many media outlets as I can including CTV, CBC, Global, CityTV & will be reaching out to all social media outlets that I can as well to ensure my message gets out to as many people as possible as no one should be throwing away their money on this garbage.
