I flyed with SAJ on the 20 aug, from yogya tò lombok. 2 hours delay without any prior notice. Cannot give 0 star because flight was ok and airplane not so dirty, but Who knows about safety?!?!?

Bad service from Super Air Jet
Both of my flights with Super Air Jet got delayed. The first one was around 90 minutes late, without any prior emails or even announcement. And they changed the gate also without any prior information. The second one got delayed around 120 minutes (2 hours) without any prior announcement through messages or emails, it really ruined our plan. The bagage service also wasn't a good one. After each flight, my suitcase got scratched and dirtied. Please be mindful next time at least for the bagage. I won't take any flight from Super Air Jet anymore
A DISASTROUS EXPERIENCE WITH SUOER AIR JET — NEVER AGAIN
I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience flying with Super Air Jet on a domestic flight from Jakarta to Bali (Denpasar), and I feel compelled to share this so others don’t go through the same ordeal.
We arrived at Soekarno-Hatta airport at 3:00 AM. Naturally, we looked at the flight information screens to find our check-in counter — nothing was displayed. We sat around confused until 5:00 AM before finally asking someone for help, only to find out that all Super Air Jet flights use the same counter. This was the first major red flag. There were multiple flights with different times, and it was completely disorganized chaos trying to figure out who should go first. Honestly, I’ve seen better organization in airports of much less developed countries.
Still trying to stay calm, we cleared security and thought we had time for a quick breakfast before our 6:30 AM flight. We arrived at the gate at 6:20 AM — only to be told that our flight had already left. What shocked us even more was that no announcements were made, and no names were called. There was zero communication from the airline. We were beyond frustrated.
We had to walk all the way back to customer service. To their credit, they did rebook us on the next flight without additional charges — the only positive part of this experience. I was so angry I was ready to argue, but at least they didn’t make things worse by charging us.
We finally made it to our new gate — only to find that two flights were leaving from the same gate at the same time. No clear signs, no information, and even more confusion. It honestly felt like the whole operation was being run without any basic planning or communication systems.
I’ve been flying for over 20 years, and this was hands down the most disorganized and stressful flight experience I’ve ever had. This was my first and last time flying with Super Air Jet. I will be sharing my experience across every platform possible and warning friends and family to avoid this airline.

Missed Connection and Lack of Support from Super Air Jet
On April 24, 2025, I was scheduled to fly on Super Air Jet flight IU759. The flight was delayed by approximately one hour, which resulted in me missing my connecting flight to Doha.
Despite the delay being relatively short, it had significant consequences. I had to purchase a new ticket at a cost of €512 to continue my journey. I reached out to Super Air Jet’s customer service to seek assistance and request compensation for the additional expenses incurred. Unfortunately, I received no satisfactory response or support.
The lack of communication and assistance from Super Air Jet during this stressful situation was deeply disappointing. As a passenger, I expected the airline to take responsibility for the delay and provide adequate support, especially when it led to such a substantial financial burden.
I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering flying with Super Air Jet. It’s crucial for airlines to prioritize customer service and support, particularly when their actions—or inactions—directly impact passengers’ travel plans and finances.
And i will seek legal action if the amount i payed is not refunded. I already sent an email to the customer support.

Bad Bad Bad company never use this company again, delay for 6 hour due to maintenance plane, they suggested to use another airlines with lion ai, plus more delay 2 hour so total hour 8 please don’t use this airlines if you don’t want to wait and sleep in airport, embarrassing!!!!
In summary a good experience
In summary a good experience. We took superairjet today from Padang to Medan Airport. Everything was totally fine and in time. Good Airbus 320 plane.
1 Star less: Change of Gate no 10 mins before boarding. One Backpack got super dirty and 15kg instead of Standard 20 kg. .
Flexible ticket not honoured
I bought a flexible return ticket which 'allowed' 1 free schedule change. I tried to change my return date and filled in the form. It instructed me to change my flight via the call center.
The number was invalid, the 'help' chat bot was not functioning, the email was disabled. I could find no way to contact support.
It is fraudulent to advertise and charge for a flexible ticket and to disable the mechanism to achieve it.
I took a risk with superairjet and paid the price. I have to buy a new ticket now.
Be warned.
UPDATE: I bought my ticket via the Booking com app and because they could not change the ticket dates on my behalf, they refunded my return ticket. That was a pleasant surprise. I'm glad I used booking com and didn't buy direct.
Don't fly with them
Don't fly with them . 30 mn delayed and + 45 we wait inside to plain. It was no light in the plain we used phone lights. Ac was terrible, it was crazy hot. They don't announcement whats going on why they are late or sorry about delayed. They don't care. I never see unrespectful company like that. Even some flight directly cancel. You can get terrible memory with this unprofessional company. Even hostess clothes is not official they just wear something like they going to gym and they just share their hostes on internet to get customer. They use their hostes to make promo. Because their clothes it's enough to catch man costumer. Totally disgusting.

This is the worst airline I’ve ever seen. My wife needed a pregnancy certificate to fly. We had one but they didn’t believe it was real. They made my 26 week pregnant wife and I walk to the other side of the airport to see the doctor and get approval. We did so and returned. They said they don’t believe us. When we asked if they could call the doctor at the airport, they refused and made us walk there back there and take a picture with the doctor in the clinic. By the time we got back we missed the flight. Mind you it was a domestic flight and we got to the airport 3 hours early.
Hopelessly delayed on multiple occasions
Booked flights from Jakarta to Bali and back for new year’s. Both flights were severely delayed. At the same time all other operators on the same route were flying as scheduled.
If you’ve got nothing better to do than waiting, then Super Air Jet is the perfect choice. If You, on the other hand, value Your time, then choose on if the other airline companies.
I’m sure the good people of Super Air Jet are good at several things. Unfortunately getting their aircraft to depart as scheduled isn’t one of them …

No explanation, many angry passengers, even at the doorstep of the plane, discussion between passengers and crew who wanted to enter the plane.

The worst company I have ever travelled with. They delayed our flight for 3 hours, making us miss the international flight and their response is: We can't take care of anything but offering food which was a cold chicken and a glass of water. For missing the flight they also made me lose 3000€ already paid for the international return and having to spend another 3000€ to return home. A disgrace

I booked a flight via booking.com and wanted to change the date. The website offers this when on their manage bookings site, however no matter which browser, credit card information, etc I tried the change does not go through. Has a sketchy touch to it to enter credit card information and get to a blank page with no sign of error message nor a confirmation. Tried to contact customer service but seems like they dont really understand English and do not provide any help whatsoever. Very disappointing, 120€ down the drain.

Flight delayed 3+hours, no information, even with asking multiple times at the staff. Misinformation on the boarding bord, last call at another gate, multiple times, when asking the information was incorrect and we just had to wait and see. No reason why it was delayed other than your flight time has been moved, they told is that 3 diffent times with 3 different flying time, each time an hour later.
I would not recommend flying with this organisation. Very poor/non-excisting communication. Delay after delay after delay. And is is not that cheap. I still paid +/-200 euros for a 2 hour flight. Better pay a little more, somewhere else, for more trust.

Horrible experience with this airline which is associated with the Lion Air group. First of all, they canceled my flight without even sending a proper notice about it, I had to find out by accident and follow up with them to clarify. Then I had to message multiple times with customer support to even issue a refund which then took 2 weeks to confirm, and in the end, they told me it would take 60 working days!!! to refund the money to my local Indonesian bank account. What a scam, they are holding back my money although it's their fault to cancel the flight... I'm outraged and will never book with them again!
