Very kind and responsive customer service

Fedex made an error to my order and I sent Suitable an email. Denise emailed me just minutes after the business opened and even gave me a phone call to ensure that I would be taken care of. She is very nice and goes above and beyond to take care of me.

My issue was resolved rather quickly too. I will definitely keep my business here.

10 days and they still ask for a payment already made

Placed my order on dec 22, paid for it via Paypal. The product showed "in stock". Their system shows payment still due, and their customer service is of no use. In one mail they acknowledge payment is indeed received, and in the next mail (supposedly from the same agent), they ask for proof of payment. No mention of order processing or shipment. After my third email, no more answers, they ghost me. Awful experience
P.S. right after this review, I received in my email this answer from the company. It is, presumably, not a coincidence that a bad public review sets the webshops costumoer service machinery in motion, for which I am thankful to trust pilot. Hopefully, my issue is resolved and I can update my experience with Suitable.

Return postage rip=off

I ordered a couple of pairs of trouser online in two different sizes to check which would fit me. Unfortunately, neither did, and they didn't have the correct size in stock. However, when I went to return them, I was charged GBP 14.95 postage. An absolute rip off, do not shop with this store!

Because we don’t offer free returns, we work with an external partner to keep the cost of a return label as low as possible. For the UK this fee is currently £14.95. After registering your return on our website, you’re redirected to our partner, where the label can be purchased and all required customs formalities are handled. With this service, return parcels usually reach our warehouse within three to four working days. This information is also listed on our Returns page and in our FAQ.

We understand that this can still feel frustrating, and it’s certainly not our intention to leave you with that impression. If you have any further questions about the process, please feel free to reach out to us.

I bought this shirt for my husbands birthday absolutely perfect.He has several R2 shirts they fit perfectly and are always admired. I would highly recommend.

Suitable offers excellent clothing at…

Suitable offers excellent clothing at reasonable prices. I always succeed in finding something new that really suits me.
Three stars why? the courtesy of the client service department was off today. When I asked about the status of my order and delivery we found out that for some reason the package was sent to a general pick up point, where this in the past was always delivered to my house address. When I tried to discuss this, the service person kept repeating that this was an initial choice I made and not her fault. My inquiry then turned to a compliant after which she said she would come back to me and hung up the phone without saying good bye. I find it common courtesy to say good bye to anyone, even when a call doesn't go as planned or hoped. Same for me!

To me, this is very rude.

ATTENTION ARNAQUE VOL 50€

WARNING: SCAM!!! I placed an order on October 26th for €450 and was eager to receive the package as it was for my partner's birthday. But on October 30th, I received a very unpleasant surprise: I was told my order had been returned and that I would be refunded. I called customer service and received no explanation; they didn't know why my package couldn't be delivered, but told me not to worry, I would be reimbursed. Very disappointed not to have received my package, oh well, I'll find another gift. However, the unpleasant surprises continued this morning when I discovered the refund, not for €450 but only €400... I've been quietly robbed of €50 in addition to not receiving my long-awaited order... I should have been compensated for my disappointment and the time I wasted, but instead, I've been robbed of €50! Of course, customer service is in English, so it's very difficult to make myself understood... But I'll keep calling until I get my money back!! The least they could do is compensate me for my loss, but this website doesn't seem very reliable...

I made two orders & both came in…

I made two orders & both came in reasonable time & I got a text to say when the delivery would be & an email with tracking Link. The two pairs of Mac Jeans are very comfortable. They seem to be cut & stitched differently from other brands & in a more comfortable way.

Exceedingly fast shipping

What impressed me most was how quickly the items shipped to Canada. I’ve placed two orders so far, and both arrived within three days — with no duties or delays. That’s faster than many local retailers!

Highly Unreliable Delivery Representations

I found working with this company difficult. I ordered three pairs of MAC pants from them on June 26. One of the pants said "same day shipping," while the other two indicated "1 week delivery time." Based on that information I used my credit card to order the pants, and was immediately billed. The next day I received an email saying that ALL THREE pants were "in backorder," but delivery was expected within 1-2 weeks. About a week after that, I received another email indicating that two of the three pants I ordered were "out of stock," and that if I wanted a refund I needed to request it (why should I have to REQUEST a refund if the company doesn't have the product?). And why did their website initially indicate "1 week delivery" only to later find out the pants were not even available?? It appears they are just trying to get you to place an order (without even knowing if they have the product!) on the chance that if it's unavailable you'll just select something else. No longer trusting their website (as to product availability) I requested a refund for the two pairs of pants. In fairness, I did receive the refund several days later. However, the other pair of pants (the ones that indicated "same day shipping" on the day I ordered them on 6/26) did not arrive until nearly 3 weeks later. You cannot rely on any of their delivery representations, which is especially problematic if you are ordering anything for a particular event or occasion. If you have limited product, TELL THE CUSTOMER THAT AT THE POINT OF ORDER, not after you charge their credit card. I would seriously challenge ever ordering from this company again. If they respond, I imagine I will get a list of excuses, but that doesn't change the fact that their website misrepresents product availability!

I bought some MAC Chino which initially didn't arrive and was thinking I'd been ripped off but turns out was down to Dutch Postal strike. Soon as it ended my trousers arrived a day later. It was actually really efficient, so much so I immediately ordered another pair and will use them with confidence going forward.

Something I didn't initially add was I'm from the UK, since this review my 2nd pair of chinos have arrived in circa 5 days. Absolutely first class and would highly recommend!

No problem for me

No problem for me. The negative reviews gave concern, but they seem to be focused around returns. This was the only place I could find the thing I was trying to buy. I don't want to return what I bought, so I didn't have an issue. I would advise: use this company if you are very confident you will keep the thing. I was and am happy because it was cheap, quick and good quality. Don't use this company if you've more than 25% chance of wanting to return.

Avoid if you are buying from the UK

Avoid if you are buying from the UK. If you need to return the item you will have to pay an extortionate amount for postage plus have to go though customs formalities due to Brexit. Had I known that I was buying from the Netherlands I would not have bought in the first place

Because we don't have free returns, we work with a partner to be able to provide cheaper return labels, at the moment the price is £14.95. After registering your return on our website, you can click on the link, and you'll be redirected to their website. When you purchase the return label there, the customs formalities are also taken care of. With these labels, the return parcel usually arrives in our warehouse in 3-4 work days.
