I read all these negative horror stories about Studio Proper Online store as fraudulent. Please see the Australian website, it doesn't even look authentic. Now my horror story, my credit card has been used to make a purchase of A$579 in this store. Go figure with their response.

I’d give less if I could! I paid for an Apple Pencil 2 and have since sent at least 4 emails asking what is going on! No reply, no Apple Pencil, nothing!

No contact

I ordered an iPad cover in early May. Despite three emails, a tweet and direct messaging via their website, I have had no response. I have spent a lot of money with this company in the past, but won’t be in the future!

UPDATE: Having found an alternative email address I got a response from Jason, and a further two weeks later, notification my cover has been dispatched. Unlike previous orders, it is coming from Australia, so I can only assume they have had issues with sourcing and dispatching stock in the UK. Delivery is now due mid-September.

StudyProper it’s a Scam Company. I never received my products.

Don’t buy from StudyProper. It’s a Scam. After ordering and paying for a couple simple IPad covers from Studioproper in April 20th, it took me months to get feedback about my order, and for them to start the shipment process (according to Studio Proper). They have provide me a Tracking number (Sendle SFDBW5) and I have been checking the status every week and my order simply doesn’t move. It’s July 20, 3 months after I Order and Payed for two IPad covers from StudioProper. I will have to Report to JP Morgan Bank that this company it’s a Scam company, and advise JP Morgan to not allowed customers to proceed with any financial transaction to this company. I will also contact a few more consumer rights companies to make sure that no more consumers fall into a similar situation.

Awesome response

After reading a lot of negative which I personally disagree as I was impressed with their customer services.

I'd like to bring the story that I placed an order for iPad Pivot stand in April 2020 and haven't heard from them till I emailed to Studio Proper and got reply due to COVID 19 that they have backlog of orders and is waiting for more supplies to arrive which is fair enough.

However what floored me is that when I emailed again - one of their customer services - Jason - who took action within 24 hours, my order arrived at my door and THAT is the best customer services.

As for the negativity - I disagree.

I urge Studio Proper to continue with their outstanding customer services in future.

3 Weeks to receive the package from the time of ordering and 2 out of 3 items were missing.

2 Emails required to chase the order up prior to it shipping. It was shipped that day of my second email asking if they were a scam.
2 Weeks to ship the package.
3 Weeks to receive the package from the time of ordering and 2 out of 3 items were missing. I can't even use the item that was delivered as it requires one of the missing items.

I have sent them a 3rd email informing them of the missing items. Now wondering if and when they will be sent.

The service is terrible, the worst experience for an online purchase.

Buyer Beware appears to be a scam operation

Purchased a bluetooth thermal printer. First the site rejected my amex card so i paid with mastercard only to find i have paid twice. I then get a email to say my order is cancelled and payment voided but yet has still been taken. I have sent 6 emails with no response. This clearly looks like a scamming company. I will be reporting to the ACCC and ASIC to get them deregistered before anyone else loses their money.

Appalling customer service

Ordered a case for my iPad on March 16th. Three and a half months (!) later it still hasn’t arrived. I emailed them to follow up on May 12th. A week later they responded saying it would be shipped early June. Still nothing. Emailed again on June 16th to follow up again and have not received a response.

This company does not care about you, the customer. If it did, it would be quick and forthright in its communication. Do not give them your money, they don’t deserve it. Be very suspicious of any company that makes it near impossible to be contacted. Be even more suspicious when they don’t respond. Report them to the authorities when you come to understand that this is common practice.

By the way, will I ever see the case I ordered and paid for?

Buyer Beware

I cant express my concerns enough with this scamming business...do yourself a favour and DO NOT PURCHASE AN APPLE IPAD FROM THIS COMPANY...they take your money and never communicate with you- only send u automated responses. They don’t answer their ph, they sent me an email stated that I would get a reimbursement which is what I wanted after 6 weeks of waiting for the iPad...never received the refund, opened a PayPal dispute claim then the iPad was delivered to my home but was no longer needed as I had purchased elsewhere due to being told I could expect a refund!!! Now I have this iPad which is up to me to sell... pls don’t waste your time or money purchasing from this scamming business...they will not communicate with you nor follow through with what they tell you.
I’m beyond disappointed with STUDIO PROPER- they should be called studio improper...oh and also I will be taking my dispute further as per accc recommendations to the department of fair trading NSW...
thanks for causing a great deal of stress and anguish studio proper.

Customer service? What customer service?

It’s disappointing when you fork out your money on an item and aside from the order confirmation and automated generic emails, you never hear from them again.

I placed an order for an Apple Pencil 2 back on the 11th May. I have since sent around eight emails to the “support” email address and “applesales” email addresses with no response (other than the automated generic response).

If stock was an issue, all Apple stores have the product available, as do Officeworks stores. I have asked repeatedly for an ETA on the order and even asked for a refund (although I would prefer the product) however I’ve received no communication back.

I would think a business which flaunts its range and it being “Australia’s #1 destination for technology and design” would have some essence of business nous to deliver a skerrick of customer service for a customer who has parted with their hard-earned.

Extremely disappointing to say the least.

Absolutely horrible customer service, i have emailed twice as no contact number and its been nearly 2 months since i placed my order and have had nil feedback. Very frustrated and upset at the service of this company. Stay away!!!!

I have never written a purely negative…

I have never written a purely negative review before, I usually am able to find some good points in the company or product. Not this time, studio proper is a complete sham. Paid $395 for a printer which was taken from my account immediately - no confirmation, no product, no communication, no delivery after waiting 6 weeks. Even a major company like PayPal could not get a reply.
Please ALWAYS buy through PayPal as I was able to get a full refund which I’m not sure how I would’ve got through a non existent company

Totally not worth it

The products you see are not the products you get, totally different.. cheap materials, different design, customer service take ages to respond parcel arrived after 3 months of shipping, and half of the items missing, this is by far the worst shopping experience I did my whole life.

Delays are real but company is genuine and not a scam

I've never written a review before. I just wanted to let people know that the delays are real, but that the company is definitely genuine.

I got into a panic after coming across reviews on this website and I thought I had been scammed. I even went so far as to start the process of trying to get my money back through my bank.

Then I realised that I had the email address of a 'real' person from the company, dating from about 2013. I emailed that address and received a reply from apple sales, within the hour.

If you haven't ordered yet, and are wondering if you should, then be prepared for significant delays. I'm sure this is pandemic related, as the company has always been reliable in the past. I'm also not sure what stock delays are like with other companies, so do your research first before assuming it will be faster from somewhere else.

If you already have ordered. Rest assured that you WILL get your product. I would suggest polite emails to apple sales email.

I'm double posting this review on another site, because I offered to help the company by writing something about my experience.

I hope this information is helpful.
