Niet altijd eerlijk

Ze zijn bij de kassa soms niet eerlijk bij dit bedrijf. Jammer.

Sometimes not honest when you have to pay the money.
That's a pity.

Do not pay for your petrol at this station by cash if you do get the receipt i paid by cash the sum of £20 pounds for my petrol but did not bother with the receipt 4 weeks later i got a letter from Forecourt eye accusing me of driving off with out paying which i did not and would never do the only proof they said they had was a static picture of my car by a pump and a receipt probably the one i should have taken. I had to pay the £20 .01 again before it doubled and i was threatened a ban form every petrol station in the country it again and a £35 administration fee .May be it was the 1p the assistant said not to bother with after i said i can never get it spot on.

Decent service

I really like the service here - although - there are some leakage with some of the pipes and I have been told that they were fixed, but then they keep leaking.

I mean these guys suck

I mean these guys suck. They have quite the recipe of tarribel shit;

Massive Oil Spills and Environmental Pollution in Nigeria:
Shell has been repeatedly accused of causing severe oil spills and long‑term contamination in the Niger Delta—damaging water sources, agricultural land, and local ecosystems. For example, incidents in Bodo and ongoing pollution in communities like Ogale and Bille have led to extensive lawsuits and compensation claims.
FT.COM

Complicity in Human Rights Abuses in the Niger Delta:
Allegations have been made that Shell was complicit in the Nigerian military’s brutal crackdown on Ogoni protesters in the 1990s—including the wrongful arrest, torture, and execution of prominent environmental and human rights activist Ken Saro-Wiwa and others (the “Ogoni Nine”). These claims have been central to landmark lawsuits in U.S. and European courts.
AMNESTY.ORG

Corruption and Bribery Allegations:
Numerous investigations and legal proceedings have alleged that Shell engaged in corrupt practices, such as bribing Nigerian officials to secure exploration rights and oil blocks (e.g. in the disputed OPL 245 deal). These corruption allegations have been the subject of criminal probes in several jurisdictions.
GREENPEACE.ORG

False Reporting and Inflated Oil Reserves:
Shell has faced criticism—and regulatory scrutiny—for overstating its proven oil and gas reserves. In one high‑profile scandal, internal documents revealed that top executives knew about these overstatements, leading to penalties and a loss of trust among investors and the public.

Safety Failures, Explosions, and Industrial Accidents:
Over decades, Shell and its subsidiaries have been linked to numerous industrial accidents worldwide—including refinery explosions and pipeline ruptures in the U.S., UK, and elsewhere—which have led to worker injuries, fatalities, and significant environmental damage. For instance, catastrophic spills and explosions in places like Norco (Louisiana) have resulted in multimillion-dollar settlements.
CORP-RESEARCH.ORG

Labor Abuses and Union-Busting Practices:
Shell has been criticized for its treatment of workers in various countries. Allegations include aggressive anti-union tactics, unsafe working conditions, and other labor disputes that have led to protests and legal challenges over the years.

Greenwashing and Misleading Environmental Claims:
Critics argue that Shell has engaged in “greenwashing” by promoting misleading messages about its environmental initiatives while continuing to invest heavily in fossil fuels. Investigations have highlighted discrepancies between its public climate pledges and its ongoing core operations.
CLIENTEARTH.ORG

Passing on Environmental Liabilities through Divestment:
Shell’s recent moves to sell off its troubled onshore Nigerian assets have sparked controversy. Critics say that by divesting, Shell is offloading long‑standing environmental and social liabilities onto local companies and communities without adequately addressing the cleanup of decades‑old pollution.
FT.COM

Failures in Addressing Pipeline Sabotage and Oil Theft:
In the Niger Delta, widespread pipeline sabotage and oil theft have been both a symptom of and a contributor to the region’s chaos. Shell’s inability (or unwillingness) to fully secure its infrastructure has exacerbated environmental damage and fueled local grievances, often resulting in further legal action.

To name a few.

I am writing a one-star review for the…

I am writing a one-star review for the Shell gas station because while in Michigan I purchased several shell gift cards physical gift cards and then now I am not able to use these gift cards as payment method in the app or anywhere that you can use an e-gift card and I need any gift card and the gift cards are not interchangeable you cannot use a shell gift card for anything other than gas and merchandise at a Shell gas station and you cannot change it into an e-gift card or use it as a payment method to get an e-gift card you have to buy any gift card and use it as such and if you have a physical gift card you have to use it as such you cannot use it in the app or any other way and so for me that is very disappointing and costly and has caused me a lot of frustration as I have these physical cards and it is and almost 2 hour drive to the nearest Shell if I could make them into an egift card the problems would go away immediately but Michelle is behind the times so I'm leaving a poor review they do need to get with The times they are behind in this way e-gift cards and gift cards and digital and physical money should all be fluid and interchangeable and they are behind the times and need to be updated and when they update this issue I will gladly give them a five-star rating

Stolen money

I would like to first tell everyone to not use your card at the pump ! I had $75 to my name , to get me thru til payday . I pulled up to get gas , put my card in , they locked my car for the full $75 without giving me any gas!!!causing me to lose my job because I could not get there . I had no friends or family to lend me any , and all the customer service said was it would take 7to 10 bussiness days to be returned . They never answered my question as to why they took my money without me owing them for anything !!!! I DID NOT recieve any gas at all . How is this not theft ? How are they allowed to just put a hold on my money when I didn’t recieve any of their services ? This seems illeagle to me and $ I agree that $75 ain’t a lot of money to most people , I get it , but I was going thru a divorce , some guy without insurance hit my car , so I had to come out of my pocket for repairs and I was struggling . As long as I had a job to keep Me atleast above water until this lawsuit was over , but the shell cost me my job , by taking my money and holding it for 7 days so they should be in some way held responsible , but I didn’t even get a simple apoligy . So if anyone is considering getting gas at the pump . I would go somewhere else , and I’m currently looking into filing a lawsuit .
