I had good service mainly on-line but with one visit to the Bath store. Over time the staff helped me refine what I was after and selected options for me. 5 Stars for that. The lower score is because we had an issue with the cabinet we bought at the same time as the TV and stereo and the top was out of shape. The store arranged a replacement. However the fitting and installation wasn't great. Due to the cabinet it took Lee and his mate much much longer than planed to put it in, which was costly, and then they had to come back and spend a lot more time taking it apart to replace the top. AT least this time Richer's paid. The TV and stereo looks great and sounds good. However I am not sure if things are working as they should and have little idea how to change things. I have had stereo's all my life but this out is very complex and I am not sure I understand and it all goes together.
I popped in to see if these guys sold Ethernet cables and Fred very kindly gave me one of their spares at no charge. Really really appreciated!

Not their fault that DPD made a hash of the delivery.
They delivered half the order at the prearranged date and time and should have produced the other item later that day. It didn’t arrive and they arranged next day. Again no delivery. Next day took the choice to collect from local post office. Eventually it was delivered there just before the store closed. I collected it. Altogether we were prevented from going out and about for several days while we waited on delivery. I have complained about this to DPD. They described the delays as unexpected events but without elucidation. VERY POOR.

Email the Bath branch to ask about a 4K player. Received fast and helpful responses to my original and follow up emails. I ended up popping into branch to purchase it and they were friendly then too.

Went to Richers to get help choosing an Atmos system. Great advice from Sean led me to the Samsung Q990F soundbar, woofer & rears.
The system is brilliant! My main interest is listening to music, and I wanted to take advantage of all the classic albums that are being re-released in Atmos. Sound quality is outstanding, and the immersive experience of Atmos is revealing nuances in albums I thought I knew inside out.
Dark Side of the Moon and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway never sounded better.
One very happy customer!

I'm that worst of nightmares for retailers - a difficult customer. I make no apologies for that. I worked hard for my money and want to be sure I get good value for it.
The item I wanted to buy was quite costly so I spent some time liaising with Fred (12 years in the business, very knowledgeable, and no pressure) to justify to myself the expense. He was most helpful and in the end I decided it was the best choice. It wasn't in stock when I called in so they arranged next day delivery at no extra cost.
Once I received it, I had some follow up questions and took them up with Tom, the store manager. He was also most patient and went to some effort to provide the answers I sought.
This store provided friendly, thoughtful advice, great products and impeccable service (both pre- and post-sales). I shall be doing any future business with them whenever possible.

Richer Sounds sent my 40 year old Cyrus 1 amp back to the manufacturer for a routine service. Unfortunately when it was returned it had been damaged in transit. Both Richer Sounds and Cyrus were very helpful and generous in compensating me for the damage caused. What could have been a difficult experience was dealt with very professionally and I have no hesitation in recommending both Richer Sounds and Cyrus to others.
