RV Cover

We ordered an RV cover mid July 2025. January 2025, still no RV cover. They attempted delivery twice now. They refused to drop the building the first time. The delivery people went to the wrong house, then barely spoke English. They refused to go down the driveway and refused to drop it off for us to bring it down in pieces. It took us two weeks to get in touch with someone and they didn't even know the building had not been delivered. SOME SALESPERSON! Don't even check in with your customer? Had to call every two weeks to be told "oh your on the schedule...but we dont know when, oh yours is in the managers office. should be soon". Finally a reschedule of 1/9/2025. I asked to have a point of contact for the delivery to help with any confusion this time Was told "oh sure they will contact you and work things out". No contact for at least a week. i start calling DAILY and leave several voicemails concerning needing to speak with someone about my order. No responses. The day of the second attempt, they didn't show up, Only informing me over a text they would not be delivering that day (at the end of the day) due to weather. Sure we get that...but you could respond. We were going to rent equipment to help deliver and thankfully we didnt order it because we had a feeling they wouldnt attempt delivery. We have yet to be able to speak to our salesperson or anyone on the delivery team. And we have left NUMEROUS voicemails asking for assistance. This is part of Carolina Carports and both companies have been completely unprofessional and garbage to work with. If you have a customer your should probably CALL THEM and let them know what is going on. Especially if they have left numerous voicemails. INSANE!

You get what you pay for

We purchased a 20x32 carport to protect our RV from the winter weather this year. We finalized the order on October 23rd. We were quite excited to get a quick install date of November 13th. It was supposed to be a perfect week to get the carport installed, which in Pennsylvania weather can be challenging.

On November 13th, the manufacturing install crew arrived promptly at 7 o clock. The problems began from here, the main installer asked me where the structure was to be placed. I showed him the 20x32 concrete pad and it quickly became apparent there was an issue. He showed me the filling order form, on the line of the form the correct dimensions for our unit BUT the number they used to stock the truck read 30x33. How could it be this so far off!

Our experience from here has been nothing more than a nightmare to deal with both Millennium Buildings and Carolina Carports, Inc (CCI). The gross negligence to fix a problem that was never our fault is incomprehensible! I understand human error, I don’t understand how neither company took ownership to make it right quickly! The communication and level of service from both parties is inexcusable and unacceptable, the “happy customer” quality of service is no longer valued. I did ask where in the contract that it states a building needs to be installed in a certain amount of time and the reply was, “there isn’t any”. So that means there is an infinite amount of time to have a building installed by a manufacturer. What a great business model Millennium Buildings practices. They get commission on a quote with a manufacturer installer that may never deliver or not be of quality work. Plus adding a no refunds policy makes it easy to not have to take any responsibility of fault. We have since cancelled our order. I would much rather be out some than all of our money.

I wish we had done more research, but Millennium Buildings website made it so easy! They mention in their advertisements they provide quick delivery and free installation, do not create confusion to your customers when you have no accountability in controlling these circumstances. On another note, if your stance is only from a buying perspective how are you honoring warranties if you are not responsible for anything from a manufacturer side? That puts into question the warranties you promise on the website. I would have my sincere doubts Millennium Buildings honors them and my concern is for the unknowing customers that had positive experiences initially but then run into problems later.

I’m honestly shocked with some of the 5-star reviews they receive since, as their company clearly states they are no longer responsible after purchase. Of course you are going to be courteous and helpful to any client looking to buy a building. You don’t make a sale until they sign on the dotted line! But best of luck to that customer once the contract is signed. You clearly wipe your hands of any responsibility moving forward if there are issues. Again, it is an opportunistic move, so when blame needs pushed away from your company on negative reviews you use this “you can’t control scheduling or installs” excuse, but on glowing reviews by all means take full credit when the stars align perfectly.

A consumer really needs to be cognizant that Millennium Buildings is just the broker for manufacturers and those are the reviews that really matter. However, the low reviews do ring true for Millennium Buildings as well as Carolina Carports. It would have saved us from spending $1300 of our hard-earned money for these service fees. Part of that fee was finding a RELIABLE manufacturer in our area, where was your liability with fulfilling that task! I was told advertising was also a part of that cost which, congratulations to your marketing team for creating a misleading website. All the reviews I see of your "Authorized Dealers" are certainly not industry leading partners. Carolina Carports do not have a BBB rating and their customer review is a 1.41/5 rating. Some of dealers that are also boasted about on the Millennium Buildings site have similar ratings. I can see why Millennium Buildings customer service rating is a 3.45/5.

If I can help one customer that does their due diligence to research your company, I will save them from the agony we have experienced.

Millennium building's one of the great American rip offs.

Millennium buildings is a rip off they make it look and sound like they sell and build these buildings but they don't and Jonathan will lie to you and do every thing he can to get you to go ahead and put a deposit on the size building you want saying if you put a deposit right now I can get you a discount hold on while I talk to my supervisor. then he says I can get $300 discount right now with $600 down now. Then they pass the job off to a little tiny company that serves your area with in 400 miles they do a real sorry job building it. and its real poor quality thin metal. And the dinky company that does the work just throw it together and bend the metal out of shape then it leak's water in thru the top and corners.and the roll up door is junk has a big air gap at the top of it and leaks air real bad along the sides of that roll up door. and the walk thru door is so poor quality it's about like paper junk. and they told me the building will with stand 135 mile per hour winds.it might take 65 mph wind maybe if your lucky. its just a pure rip off all the way around.$5,900.00 of money out the window.the USA is gone people every one does this now selling junk.i will be filing a claim with the BBB also.
