Lee and Elijah are fabulous at Maria Tash
I actually made a decision to visit this store based on feedback I had seen from the Host of Today on NBC when she got her ears pierced and how fabulous the service and products were.
My previously pierced ears I thought had closed over and I was recently gifted some beautiful Bulgari earrings I wanted to wear.
I rang and spoke with Lee and arranged to see him the next day - we went over the styles of earrings I liked, and he made some fabulous suggestions - even though the store was crazy bus, he took his time, and I didn't feel rushed at all.
In addition, he listened to what my plan was.
Then I met the piercer, Elijah and he was just fabulous and took his time explaining the sanitized solutions, and he in fact checked the holes and identified that 3 of them didn't need re piercing.
He did an amazing job and was very clear as was Lee around the follow up needed to keep the lobes and piercings protected - he was very clear for the reasons that I needed to return in around 6 weeks to change out the posts to shorter ones.
I left with the sterile wipes etc. and instructions how to purchase more via Amazon and truly there have no aftereffects
I am actually going back next week and will be adding another ear piercing - Lee was fabulous in following up to see how things were progressing.
I rarely write reviews but they deserve this one- thanks Lee and Elijah.

My two daughters went there just for ear piercing. They came out with a $9300 of bill that they charge on their credit cards, one of my daughter is a minor. These people are crooks and unethical and thieves. The jewelry is not the quality that way mention and they are 5 times over price than other places. Do yourself a favor and avoid these people, you can find a lot cheaper in other places.
Adore Maria Tash
I've been wearing Maria Tash for years generally purchase online via Harrods/Liberty as no Manchester store but one visit to the shop which was a real treat. They are seriously beautiful earrings and I have never had an issue with the quality or earrings falling out/breaking. Chap in the store was professional and competent. Big big fan of the brand and won't wear any other brand in my ears.
Earring broke: invisible diamond setting stud…
Got an invisible diamond setting stud earring from Dubai Mall while on holiday.
The stud was for my conch pearcing, which has no friction or daily contact with other objects. The diamond fell out after 9 months, when I was blowdrying my hair after the shower. Luckily, I found it. When I contacted Maria Tash, they said I would need to pay to ship it to NYC, and pay for the repair even if I had paid over 500$ for a single stud that was less than a year old. I asked a piercing studio if they could help, and they said that Maria Tash is notoriously known for being pricey and prone to breaking. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Exceptional Piercing Quality
About two months ago, I got my first two piercings with Maria Tash—one "Tash Rook" (a.k.a flat piercing) and a daith piercing on the same ear. It was my first time getting a cartilage piercing, and I'm glad I went to Maria Tash.
Regarding the piercings themselves, I have three lobe piercings on each from other piercers, all of which were more painful and difficult to heal than my daith or flat piercings from Maria Tash. If you're looking to curate your ear and want to go with some traditionally more painful/difficult to heal cartilage-placements, I think Maria Tash is the way to go. I'll definitely being going back to them for cartilage piercings in the future.
Regarding the quality of their jewelry, it can be a bit delicate sometimes, but I haven't had any issues (apart from a slight bend after removing a couple plain, 16 gauge hoops I got for one of my lobe pairs—I was, however, able to bend it back in place pretty easily. Some of their pieces are on the more fragile side, but I think that's more a product of their jewelry's "daintier" style—you can't really expect an 18-16 gauge piece of gold wire not to bend with force.
TLDR; Overall, their piercing service is exceptional and great for someone looking for a first-time cartilage piercing, and I think their jewelry is of good quality, albeit a little delicate by virtue of its style.
