An all-round TERRIBLE experience.

Order recieved was damaged, they attempted another delivery and was even worse. Had to call several times, send photos, emails and then given an embarrassing partial refund that was huge insignificant. Disgusting service.

Brett and Akash from Instashop's Quality Assurance Team were unable to assure quality - failure!

My order ID:3589406

My order ID:3589406 placed on 17jul with Spinneys via InstaShop. Actual order value is approx AED140 and I have been billed AED184.03 and this has been claimed also. On top of it some of the items were not delivered. So the actual value of the items delivered is only AED100. Instashop initially gave a goodwill amount of AED20 and another AED18.50. So what happens to the balance amount that has been fraudulently debited to my card? No response from InstaShop for the messages and emails sent. Daylight robbery!!!

Really bad costumer service from A to Z

Really bad costumer service.. order delayed .. received cold not eatable at all..returned but no refund.. I’ve never experienced such a situation as if they delayed sth or return something they will always refund your money and with extra voucher as an apology, but this Instashop make no value for their costumers.. I don’t recommend it at all

Order never arrived

Order never arrived
I placed an order with INSTASHOP around 12 noon.
– app kept showing driver on the way
– at 14:00, app showed driver on the way but order delivered at 12:34
– I send a message saying I didn’t receive my order 3 times but until I got a reply that someone is checking
– I call them the lady on the phone says:” Mam you received maybe or you didn’t receive it, we will investigate and hangs up”.
– I get a call from a guy saying:” Mam maybe someone else in the house received it and you don’t know or maybe it’s in front of the door”.
– I had no order whatsoever and nothin was in front of my door.
– the guy calls again saying: my stuff were chilled and the driver never picked it up.

For a bill of 224 aed, I had to:
– fight for 45 minutes
– accused of being fruit thief
– accused of receiving an order which I didn’t
And the best part they don’t answer, they take their time and call at their convenience.

- they claimed the order will be delivered within 15 minutes and now 25 minutes later no order received
It is a joke and a scam.
Such stores shouldn’t be in our beloved UAE.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I waited five hours for my delivery. The shop had my order ready to go, but instashop did not send a driver. When I rang, they kept telling me they'd look into it and get back to me. When they did get back to me they told me it would be there in 15 minutes. This was clearly a lie as it took another 1.5 hours. You have to be there to receive goods, so I wasted all that time. I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN.

Good customer service

Good customer service
I ordered sim specific items and what was Deleivery was less in quantities, within 5 min of me highlighting this Doreen from customer service called me and apologized and immediate asked if to replace the items or refund partially some of what I paid.
Really good experience to have which will make me buy every time through InstaShop.

HORRIBLE experience!!
I was im a resort and I ordered a very urgent item from the pharmacy, I waited for 3 hours, I called the pharmacy and they had my order ready but InstaShop had no driver.
They were lying in the phone saying all the time that my order was on the way. I lost my whole morning while it was easier just go and buy. Don’t relay on this company, InstaShop is a disaster. Better you go to get the things by yourself.

They sent me spoiled turkey & mortadella, thank God I didnt eat it as im pregnant. Never ordering from this place again!!! When I complained, I was told they cant do anything as the “policy” states they can refund within 24 hours only. How can I possibly consume all my groceries within 24 hours and know something is ruined??Wheres the policy on rotten & spoiled food??? Customer care just had no support to give. I am never using this app again. Its not the first time I received rotten food from megamart.

I used this App a lot since Covid…

I used this App a lot since Covid pandemic and my favorites shops were Fresh Food market, Goumet, Metro…
But because of the poor customer service I’m thinking of delete this app.
I ordered Pampers up to 12 hours dryness, but they shipped something else. After 2,3 times received a wrong item, I sent them note to explain what I wanted, but they still sent the wrong one again. My husband called the customer service, they told him that it was the same product( but actually it was not, and different price or counting). The another time, same issue, I called them. They said ok, I’m sorry blah blah..
But after that they blocked me from Goumet, Metro and some another stores which actually I didn’t have problem with.
One of my friends had a same problem and she got blocked from Fresh food market.
What kind of service like that? If you don’t want customers, better close off your business. But if you want customer so be professional, take customers opinion and improve your service. I had never seen or experienced something immature, unprofessional and stupidly like that anywhere else.

Fraudsters!!! Please don't give them your card details

Fraud alert!! Avoid them like the plague!!!!! They used my saved card details to place orders with a store in their app, that I did not authorise!!!!! I've reported them to my bank for fraud and I'm sure they'll be investigated. I reported this to their customer service and asked to elevate the issue but noone is interested helping me investigate which employee used my card... I've also had no apology nor refund!!! Disgusting company and I will never use them again. I hope they are shut down for malpractice.

After 3 hours of waiting I was called…

After 3 hours of waiting I was called to say driver delivered to the wrong address and they can't contact him. I was told please wait and I will be called. No one called. Had to call again 2 times and each time just told wait. Eventually I told them to refund me as I need to go to bed. Terribly dealt with. The items were frozen goods. A replacement should have been sent as soon as it was found to be delivered to the wrong address. No one can seem to deal with this and I should never have to keep calling. Its now 11pm when I should be in bed hours ago. I will never use this service again.

My shopping is hours late on multiple…

My shopping is hours late on multiple occasions - so much for instant! And today, my entire dinner menu was based around one item that I ordered this morning. Shopping arrived with wrong item and now at 2:30 pm, they say it won't be available until later tonight.

Trust me, go to the grocery store yourself and forget this company. Have deleted the app.
