I ordered two things, one was 40 dirhams another one 8 dirhams. They excluded the one for 40 dirhams from the order and kept the one for 8 without asking. I tried to text and call but I got zero reply. I couldn’t amend or cancel my order. At the end the status says delivered and I have nothing next to my door. Real magic from instashop. They also took the 30 dirham coupon that they gifted me)

Their products say one price, and at checkout you get charged more. You can't cancel the order or speak to anyone. They'll say you qualify for free delivery and then charge AED 8-10 for delivery fees.

Very bad experience with Instashop customer service and the app.
1. Orders from specific supermarkets are up to 3hours late on a regular basis. Products are always out of stock.
2. Customer service does not answer nor solve the problem.
3. The app does not give the correct delivery time. So expect to be stuck at home waiting for youd delivery for 3 hours (true story) more than one time while receiving missing products

Let me say it loud and clear: this app is an absolute disgrace when it comes to reliability, customer service, and the sheer audacity of charging people for a service they clearly can't provide properly.
They throw around terms like “service fee” and “preparation fee” like you’re getting premium service - but what you’re really paying for is incompetence wrapped in a broken app experience.
Missing orders? That’s basically a feature at this point. Orders disappear into the void, and you're left sitting there like an idiot, wondering why you even trusted this app with your time and money in the first place.
Customer support? Laughably slow. You have to report the same issue TWICE just to get a callback — and even then, they’ll take 20 to 30 minutes to respond. When they finally grace you with a phone call, their responses are vague, clueless, and completely unhelpful. They can’t tell you if they’ve reached the shop, they don’t know the status of your order, and they certainly can’t give you a real delivery time.
What they can do though, is insult your intelligence by offering you a 10 or 20 AED voucher as if that somehow makes up for a ruined schedule, wasted time, and broken expectations. But of course, the voucher can only be used on their useless app again – meaning you’re forced back into the same broken system like a fool.
This isn’t just bad service. It’s maliciously careless. They rely on customer tolerance and emotional manipulation. They know most people will settle for a few dirhams just to move on. But this is unacceptable. A refund should be standard as per bank policies, not a pathetic, forced “voucher” to keep you trapped.

A service this unreliable has no business charging anyone a dirham. If you're thinking about trying it, do yourself a favor and don’t.

Terribile app and customer service
Terrible customer service and an equally disappointing app. They’ve gotten much worse over the past year! Too many hidden charges and endless fees, and they don’t even guarantee a decent service. On several occasions, I didn’t receive products I had already paid for, and to make matters worse, the refunds were always less than what I actually spent. After being a loyal customer for years, I will never order from them again.

Four months ago, their team came and took photos of our products, uploaded them to the system, and then activated them. I haven't received any information or updates for four months. Now, the second problem is that our market name doesn't appear, and the location can't be selected. We call, but they don't respond. This kind of hassle-free operation is unacceptable. We can't accept it. They never help.
You became the worst app
At first you were the best , but now it’s the worst app ever … your shops try to steal from clients sending less quality products with the same invoice at your application and the worst thing about that they call us try to justify their manipulation 1st and then pegging us to change their rates ..they shouldn’t call us !! … your service shouldn’t take that much time and phone calls plus the hassle with problems they made .And your employees didn’t even solve any problems just sending us a notification that a certain employee will solve the problem that apparently they give the delivery boy the minimum rate and another notification about rating their lazy ass for solving my problem which is not satisfying for me or anyone as a client … your staff didn’t deserve salaries ..unless you’re paying to your staff for doing nothing . They didn’t even bother themselves giving us a call -as it was happened previously along time ago- to know what THE CLIENT problem is ?

I've has the most horrible experience with instashop whenever I ordered as I've never received the order on time but they over price all items on the app and never got a response from them even after I complaint several times on their app.

If there could be a minus five I would give it. Instashop (Ras al Khaimah) is absolutely horrible. Two nights now I have made an order from Choithams. Last night, I finally called the store after one hour late, only to be told that the driver did not have a car and was on a bike. Instashop could have simply sent another driver. I finally just canceled the order after being told they would could in 15 minutes and 45 more minutes had passed. Thinking it was just a fluke, I reordered this evening. Same scenario. I finally called the store only to get the same story. NO ONE even takes the professional stance to call the customer to let them know that the order is delayed. It is now one hour and this time I am going to wait it out. Customer service is a joke and I don't want Instapoints. I want my order!!!!! UPDATE:a total of three hours and 20 minutes, 3 phone calls to the store, 2 calls to Instashop and canceling the order, it was delivered. All the driver said was "send a complaint"

I used to advocate and advertise instashop application for its customer service, follow up & immediate responses & positive remidial actions. Since Talabat application Co. bought instashop customer service vanished. No response st all to any complaint or action. Just like Talabat mode of operation. What a shame, what a pity. No longer recommended.

The driver dropped off my order at the wrong apartment without even calling me, then insisted that he had delivered it to my door—which was absolutely not true. After checking, they admitted their mistake, but instead of fixing it properly, they expected me to go pick up my groceries from someone else’s apartment. That’s not just inconvenient, it’s embarrassing.
This kind of service is completely unacceptable. When I order groceries, I expect them to be delivered to my door, not someone else’s. A simple phone call and basic attention to detail would have prevented all of this. I hope they take this feedback seriously and fix their delivery process—because no customer should have to go through this.
