I have been working with Infoserve now for 3 years and have dealt with a number of staff and used a range of services. Possibly more importantly i started using one of their competitors at the same time, so can do a direct comparison.
You will see i have given 4 stars, however, were I just reviewing the web design team (in particular Michael Harrison) I would have given 5 stars. He is responsive and talented. They created a website that took far more effort than they have charged for, and the feedback from customers has been very positive. So for website design I cant fault Infoserve.
I have knocked off a star simply because the pay per click campaigns have not been as effective as I would have liked and I would have preferred a more proactive approach to altering and tweaking my campaigns, however to be fair, when I have asked for reviews and changes, they have done so.
In terms of comparisons, their competitor, mis sold (I have never had that here), barraged me with calls to pay more (never had that here) and I am not naming them as they troll and abuse any complainant online, and I have had nothing but courtesy from Infoserve.
to give an example. When GDPR came in and sites needed a cookie message and privacy policy, their competitor insisted I pay hundreds of £ or they would close the site and charge me any way. Infoserve also rang me, and said they could make the changes for a fee or I could do it myself. I did it myself, but it was nice to know that I could have it done for me. That is a far more honest approach to up selling than I have experienced elsewhere.
So as long as you do your research and understand that however good a website is your business wont grow unless people can find that site, plus that PPC is unlikely to show results for many months and even then when it very targeted, then you should easily be able to sign up to a range of services with Infoserve and have realistic expectations. They will then deliver those realistic expectations and in my experience, be professional, and courteous.

Set of cowboys. Cancelled the service after two years and they removed every listing. Even though some were set up before they took over as apparently they had updated some of them. So getting involved with these guys means you are contracted for a lifetime, as cancel their service and not only does it stop, they undo everything you paid for. This is normal in the world of infoserve apparently. Sky do the same - apparently?? Really inforserve - that's like SKY removing the dish from every house that cancels... What a joke of a company. Oh - and it did NOTHING for our SEO either. Avoid

I don't like making a comment on here but I had enough why should I pay twice for the new domain name I decided to.change my old domain name last January that was paid but now they asked me to pay again as I'm due this month what? Really? I did explained of the phone to send me an emailed of what I was paying for last January but no! They can't send it keep calling me and talk rubbish... I used infoserve for 2 years now they made my website, buy products like marketing online spent loads money but all them won't work very good talking rubbish about marketing very promising and you thinking That your business will be bigger and get a better result but no very poor result they just love your money but don't really get better result. What made me upset Josh Marshall very pushy on sales keep selling even if I'm not interested and also don't really listen about the issue I had this company just money grabbing! And please stop calling me chasing about payment. I dont owe nothing.

I would advise that you avoid this company, they promise you everything and give you nothing, if as in my case you have very little knowledge around Pay per click and online advertising then you are easy prey. When I initially signed up with this company they told me they could improve my online visibility for a one off small sum of £240 for PPC which I thought worth a try, Well this was just the start within 2 weeks the hard sell started I mentioned that I wasn’t seeing any return on my spend. Every time I spoke to Infoserve I always came away having been convinced that the previous product wasn’t quite working for me and that I’d need to increase the campaign to a higher level whilst being assured and guaranteed that I would get the conversion. I voiced my concerns on more than one occasion that It was not happening to which the reply was “don’t worry it will come”, although it never did. These people are not experts they are sales reps their Sales pitch was always let me speak to my manager to see what we can do for you, then hey presto for a special price today we can offer you this for only…..
They setup a Direct debit without my authorisation then told me that I couldn’t get my money back for the payment, the account manager even called me on his mobile phone so that the calls wouldn’t be recorded
They recommend that I have a Website built by them as mine was probably part of the issue, it wasn’t, there was no significant change once the website they built went live. Again, another ploy to extract more money.
I asked for the campaign to be turned off while my website was being built as there was no point carrying on with running the campaign against my website as it was deemed to be part of the reason why I wasn’t getting the conversions (according to Infoserve)
Unfortunately the account manager forgot to suspend the campaign, when this was brought to his attention he said there was nothing he could do as I’d still been having traffic directed to my site (this was one of the occasions when he called from his mobile) on that call he told that he had forgotten to suspend the campaign.
I then arranged for the campaign to be suspended whilst I was on holiday which on this occasion did happen, it was agreed that I would get in touch on or around 17th Sept to switch it back on I sent an email to the account manager on the 19th September to make this request, unfortunately I had to call the account manager again on 27th Sept as the campaign still hadn’t been turned on.
I voiced all these complaints to Infoserve which they acknowledged and offered me a free month of PPC (which in theory was a month that I had already paid for when my website was being built.) again this gave no return in terms of customers.
The final insult came after I complained that the website was running slow as per analysis on Infoserve website. They sold me the store package for 2500 products but then claimed that the reason the website was slow was due to the number of products that I had in the store which was 980 surely if you’re sold a package for 2500 products then it should be able to cope with 980. They took a further payment from me to speed up the website and clean up SEO which I was told would be included in the original build. Even after running the analysis tool again 2 months after the work was carried out the tool still shows issues with speed. Knowing now how the company work I do wonder whether the web site analysis tool is tuned in such a way to justify them selling even more products that promise to resolve issues.
It was suggested by them that I be assigned a new account manager, however they then decided that it may not be a good idea as they would also try to up sell (their words not mine) I think that says it all, they just hard sell.
My Company spent £5457.6 with Infoserve which returned almost nothing in terms of customers
This whole experience has been false promises and misleading information, I am disgusted that I put my trust into a company that has so badly let me and my company down using mis-selling practice.
I am much more clued up now and realise just how much they took advantage of my trust in them while starting up a new business; I am now in the process of consulting with Trading Standards.
