First visit to this store. Comprehensive range of outdoor clothing and footwear. Friendly and helpful staff (Shaun and young lady on the till). Would recommend.

Decided to go camping so needed last minute items, which the Banbury store were able to help me with. Jenny directed me to the various items I needed, delivered with a positive, friendly style. Tom persisted with a search for the boots I wanted, after discovering they had been incorrect stacked in the backroom. Being a member, I was able to get a better price on these thanks to the price match promise. All round, I was very pleased with my shopping trip.

We arrived at the Banbury store on a Sunday afternoon looking for walking boots for my daughter. Rio was both knowledgeable and helpful, running backwards and forwards to find multiple sizes for us. Generally all the staff couldn’t do enough to help. It’s a very well stocked store, too – everything you need for an outdoor trip with a firm emphasis on practicality and quality.

Went in to get a child back carrier. The one we'd wanted to try wasn't on the shelf but staff member Ellie went and found one in the store room. She then showed us how to put it on and made it a very easy experience. The store itself has an excellent range of stock.

A special thank you to Rosie who was so helpful today! We were visiting to buy kit for our sons D of E expedition and really didn’t know where to start. She was very patient and guided us brilliantly. Rosie really made our a shopping experience a positive one!

Came to Go Outdoors with the intention of buying hiking shoes, I was greet by Olivia in the shoes section and initially wanted to have a look around but my partner jumped in and told her what I was looking for, I’m very thankful he did as Olivia was fantastic! She went through all the different kinds of shoes and what ones she recommended for wider feet, we tried a variety on and she even gave me some of her own experience of shoes from trips she’s done which gave me that extra bit of confidence. Once I found my perfect fit she went through any other questions I had regarding more clothing and equipment and answered perfectly! She was so polite and patient with me and even got a little cuddle of my daughter! I even learnt a new way to tie laces on hiking boots for better ankle support!
Overall very happy with my experience today!

The staff in store are very knowledgeable and helpful. Good range and delighted with my purchase. However, this was after another failed attempt to buy online. Once again I got no updates for a week and had to cancel my order. I will never try to buy online from Go Outdoors again. The 5 stars are for the staff in the Banbury store.

I had come to the Banbury store with the intention of buying hiking shoes and a fleece.

Being new to hiking, I had a lot of questions and I am incredibly grateful for the staff's patience and willingness to answer these questions. Silas in particular was a massive help, having so much incredible knowledge.

I was able to get very well fitting shoes and a great fleece and am incredibly grateful.

Emma helped me find the right shoes for me and was really freindly and helpful.

Silas was very useful in helping me find a decent pair of walking books. Merrel was what I settled on. Thank you, Silas ❤️

We visited the Banbury store at the weekend as we needed to get our son kitted out for his first Scout Camp. Both Emma and Shaun were extremely helpful and took time to explain the different options available to us before we made our purchases. They are both a credit to your company!

Ample parking, easy to get to from motorway, great prices, very friendly & helpful staff especially Shaun up on the upper floor, who helped me this morning to choose my backpack for EBC trek, explained all the models & their capabilities when I listed out my requirements he showed me the best one, also as I never owned one my self he helped me to adjust to my body shape and of I come back pack on my back. Can’t wait to go back end of next month to buy some more gear, keep up the great work you all. Well done.

Excellent customer service from Olivia, she was so patient and helpful as we wanted to compare different walking boots. She showed us a hack of tying the boot laces so they make the boots more supportive and comfortable. 10/10 visit!

Went into the store to buy a rucksack with my friend, and a member of staff called Shaun was super helpful. He helped us with the range of smaller daytrip rucksacks, showed us some of the sale stock and was just really proactively helpful and nice 👍
