Terrible experience!

Terrible experience! Several days after placing my order, I received an email that the order was delayed because my prescription had not been confirmed. I later received an email that the order was cancelled because the frame was discontinued. After that, I received an email that the frame was not discontinued and the the order was still processing. I waited several days with not follow up email, so I decided to check the order status online only to find out that my order had been canceled because my card was declined. Interesting that the card was declined because there is more than sufficient funds in the account and I have used it several times after placing the order. I tried contacting customer service via live chat and the agent responded by saying I'm sorry I can't help you with that. I proceeded to ask for help with instructions on how to re-enter another credit card number. His response was: "please reply to the email that was sent to you from our customer care team. He then ended the chat without asking me if I had any other questions or concerns. I felt this was very rude. I was very respectful in trying to ask for help. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

Misrepresentation of branded goods

Go-Optic advertise for sale replacement Swissflex eyeglasses cases, with pictures, but sent me a generic non-branded eyeglass case (claiming that it was the official replacement for the Swissflex case) which did not fit my Swissflex eyeglasses. Swissflex since confirmed to me that they do not sell their products through third party websites and thus it seems that Go-Optic was just making stuff up! Go-Optic now want to charge me $9.95 to accept a return and thus I just got my cc company to cancel the charge for the case. Dreadful company. Dreadful customer service.

The Disney model for eyewear

Had my main pair of glasses be lost functionally due to temple ear piece break. Optician I use only gave me the OEM information and said good luck on my search. Google found Go-Optic for me. The search and purchase was seamless. Follow-up awesome. I am a retired Disney Executive, their service emulates Disneys great guest service model.

I ordered prescription sunglasses as…

I ordered prescription sunglasses as advertised on their website, it took about 3 weeks for them to arrive. When they did arrive the sunglass frames were separate and the glasses had clear lenses. There’s no way to attach the sunglass lenses, and no instructions on how it might be done. So now all I have is another pair of regular prescription glasses, and two loose tinted frames. These glasses weren’t cheap either, and there was no mention of separate lenses on their site.
I do not recommend using Go-Optic.com. Save yourself money and annoyance and find your glasses somewhere else.

It's a well-designed site

It's a well-designed site, better than any of the other online optic sites I've used. Quality frames and trivex are available, and there are better progressive and coating options than most competitors. I will use it again.

Right order, WRONG glasses.

Ordered glasses. Got the wrong ones. No mention of refund for shipping back their mistake. No mention if they ever made the glasses I ordered. First and last time ordering glasses on line. NOT worth the hassle.

I searched high and low for the perfect…

I searched high and low for the perfect frames for my daughter's first pair of glasses that she is not too excited about and I found them here. The selection was great and the prices were even better and the ordering process was very easy. I am so excited to see her in her new glasses.

Desired Eyeglass Design Availiable Go-Optic

I lost my new glasses. My optometrist informed me that the frame I had purchased was no longer available to him. So the receptionist looked online for me, and he found Go-Optic. He told me to order the frame and bring it in, and they'd put in my prescription lenses on them. Go-Optic offers similar frame designs if they don't have what you're looking for. It was easy to check out and they offer excellent shipping rates.
Compared to other online eyeglass providers I found Go-Optic really did offer the best price for my design and there was even a special coupon for it!

Lousy customer service

I found just what I wanted, the exact frames I have had for 5 years. The frames came through very deformed, I called go optics and they told me to take pictures and send to them which I did. I was told the glasses could be adjusted but they went back to the original crooked shape. I don't have time to keep going back to have them adjusted and the other alternative was to send them back to GoOptics so they could fix them. I can't be without them, they are the only sunglasses I have which are prescription and I know they will go back to their original shape. Customer service is lousy, they should let me swap them out for frames that aren't deformed.
