First time I have used giftround for a collection, it is so easy to set up and manage for messages and money contributions in one place. The personalisation for photos, gifs, emojis are really good and the ease of simply downloading the messages and gift certificate at the end of the collection to send to the recipient makes it a great method for any collection.

Money only usable in vouchers!! fiddly/clunky to set up
Felt very fiddly/clunky to set up, nothing was very clearly explained either.
Disappointed that it was not explained to me that the money we had all paid into this leaving whip-round could only be paid as a voucher for a specific store, whether split over different stores or not makes no difference, it feels like everyone (myself included) have given money to someone who is leaving, only to be told, actually your money is gone and HAS TO BE PAID TO this specific shop, just rubbish. I should have just gone with my original idea of doing old school and collecting cash!!

GiftRound is designed to make giving a group gift easier. There’s no need to collect cash, keep track of separate bank transfers or choose the present yourself. Contributors can add their money and a personal message online, and the recipient chooses their gift afterwards.
It’s free to organise and free to contribute, with no transaction fees, tips or deductions. The recipient receives 100% of everything contributed and can split their FlexCard balance across gift cards for different brands and retailers.
We appreciate that gift cards weren’t what you had in mind. For people who want to give a shared gift while letting the recipient choose what they’d like, that’s exactly the service GiftRound offers.

Excellent and easy way to organise a collection for colleague leaving job
I organised a Giftaround for a colleague that was leaving and it worked perfectly with individuals being able to go onto a shared link and write a message and add the amount that they wished to contribute without any obligation or pressure. The recipient was delighted with being able to choose the vouchers that she would like to purchase things for her new home and job. Will use again and recommend.
