Total rip off. Initially agreed on a price, the job would not have taken more than an hour to complete for a professional. Yet I allowed him to bill for 2 hours. I wasn't there when he did the job, I only went there to make payment after it was complete. He said he'll bill me for 5 hours labour as it took him x number of hours to source the replacement part? Was he having a laugh? I managed to get it down to 3 hours. He also billed me £58 for a door handle which can easily be bought for under £20? I managed to get it down to £30. In general he was trying his best to up the total price. My mistake for trusting him. They have proven once again these lot are out there just to make money by over pricing and tricking consumers.
I would have given them 5 stars, but when I caught him trying to make more money by chatting crap, he lost any credibility he had.
