I searched for a monthly rental in Tucson, AZ for a few weeks and found most so-called landlords to not be completely forthright and even misleading. During that time I negotiated to book a rental wit... See more

Furnished Finder blocking negative reviews on their site.
I rented a house listed on Furnished Finder, and the landlord simply kept my deposit without any cause. Reaching out to Furnished Finder, they stated they cannot involved in these disputes, which I somewhat understand. However when I tried to leave a negative review about the particular property, in order to warn others about this thief landlord Gayle Bollinger, Furnished Finder would not accept my review, which suggests Furnished Finder is filtering reviews to make themselves look better.
As a landlord
As a landlord, my experience with this company has been extremely disappointing and costly.
I purchased a one-year membership based on the company’s representations regarding its platform, support, and landlord services. I also paid additional fees for what was described as expert assistance in creating and optimizing my listing. Unfortunately, those services were never delivered as represented.
Most concerning is that for the most recent three-month period, I have been unable to effectively communicate with prospective tenants through the platform. For a landlord, three months without reliable tenant communication can translate into a substantial financial loss from extended vacancy periods. This is in addition to the many months of difficulties I experienced before that.
Over the course of this ordeal, I have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service. Each call typically required me to explain the entire situation from the beginning to a new representative. Calls often lasted hours at a time, yet the issues remained unresolved. I was repeatedly told that someone would call me back, but to date I have never received a return call that led to a resolution. Not once has the underlying problem been fixed.
What has been particularly frustrating is the contrast between the company’s responsiveness to public reviews and its responsiveness to actual customer concerns. While my service requests and requests for assistance went unanswered, responses appeared quickly when a negative review was posted. Rather than acknowledging the ongoing issues, the responses often seemed to place responsibility back on the customer.
After months of unsuccessful attempts to obtain assistance, resolve the technical issues, or receive a refund for services that were not delivered as promised, I filed complaints with consumer protection agencies, including the FTC and Better Business Bureau, and initiated a dispute through my credit card provider.
I rarely leave negative reviews. However, I believe other landlords should carefully evaluate their options before investing significant time and money into this platform. My experience has been one of unfulfilled promises, poor follow-through, lack of accountability, and customer service that never resulted in an actual resolution.
This COULD be great but the available…
This COULD be great but the available dates for locations is RARELY correct so you keep looking at places that aren't even available for the dates you need. Response to inquiries from landlords are seldom. The deposits and fees listed (or not listed) are not always correct. Furnished finder should hold property managers to a higher standard or they're going to lose business. Make their availability calendars and cost be correct. Because right now, the inaccuracies and lack of response is the TYPICAL (not the occasional). Super frustrating and a waste of time for potential travel tenants who have a time sensitive contract to sign. Wish it were better. Like I said, it could be. But it isn't..no one updates their properties.
As a host they are awful
As a host they are awful. I tried it out but didn't have a great experience with it. I also thought they were overpriced. But apparently the secretly put you on an auto-renew subscription and I was charged for another year. And of course they told me after it was already done. I reached out to support and I got an auto-reply saying that they can't refund me.
Wow.
Horrid customer service
This platform worked well enough for finding tenants, but that's where the positives end. The customer service is absolutely horrible — unhelpful and unresponsive when you actually need support. To make matters worse, the company has a sneaky subscription that they do not disclose clearly, and when I tried to get a refund after canceling a service I no longer need, they refused. It feels predatory. If there is any other platform available in your area, use that instead. I would not recommend this to anyone.
charged $705 by mistake, refused to refund a single penny for zero services
Do not trust this company,On june 1,2026,I accidentally proceeded a manual reactivate payment of $705.00 due to a complete administrative mistake.I am an individual consumer, not a commercial property business, and I realized the error instantly.
I contacted Furnished Finder Customer support immediately to cancel and request a refund. No services were ever rendered or used.Despite this being an immediate, honest mistake, support (Nicole)completely refused to issue a partial or full refund ,claiming the transaction was voluntary.they are keeping $705.00 of my money for absolutely nothing in return. This is predatory ,greedy business behavior.I have officially filed a complaint with the better Business Bureau (BBB)and am disputing the charge with my bank.Avoid at all cost !
What an absolute scam.
What an absolute scam. Be very careful of their 'auto-renew' process. It's the default and I swear they have changed it on my account when I set it to NOT auto renew. I do not set anything to 'auto renew'...ever. They got me twice this way...no prior notice or reminder and once they charge you can't cancel - even same day.
You cannot deactivate a listing, you cannot delete a listing. The website is clumsy and leads you in circles when you try to put a property on pause.
It would be one thing if I actually got tenants through the service, but I have not had great luck with it. My space is not necessarily what their client base is looking for.
Their customer service is not helpful. The response is basically 'too bad, that's our policy'. Since this is the 2nd time they've pulled this routine on me I'm making a stink.
Take if for what you will, but I'll never use them again under any circumstances.
A $199 Lesson Learned – Broken Promises and Zero Results
Here is an updated, comprehensive review that weaves in this new information about the bait-and-switch regarding the listing swap. It highlights the full timeline and the broken promise that ultimately cost you your money.
**Title: A $199 Lesson Learned – Broken Promises and Zero Results**
I will never, ever use Furnished Finder again. My experience with this company has been a complete waste of money and a lesson learned the hard way.
When I first signed up and paid the hefty $199 fee, I specifically asked customer service a crucial question: If I no longer needed the original listing, could I delete it and swap it out for a different property address? They explicitly told me, "Yes, no problem."
Relying on that promise, I ended up renting out my original place on a long-term, two-year lease shortly after signing up. Because it was such a short amount of time since I paid for the membership, I tried to exchange the listing for one of my other properties. That’s when the truth came out. They completely went back on their word and refused to let me switch the address, meaning I lost my money completely.
To top it all off, during the brief time the listing was active, I didn't get a single genuine inquiry from anyone looking to come to my town. Instead, I got hit with a ton of spam and useless "leads" for people who weren't even in my area.
They got my $199, broke their promise, and gave me zero real traffic. Do not trust what they tell you over the phone—find a platform that actually honors its word and delivers real results.
Would you like to adjust the phrasing of the part about the customer service promise, or is it ready to post?
I attempted to call re a bill they auto…
I attempted to call re a bill they auto billed. I was put on hold 40 minutes, said I could talk to ASSOCIATE which was a chat with a robot...it went on for 10 minutes...the computer said my problem did not reimburse my money but said I could have a free 6 month post. Terrible customer service. Will never use them again!!!
Save your money and explore other options
I do not recommend this site for landlords. I have been on it for a year and have not received even one lead, despite paying about $200 to sign up. Save your money and explore other options that may work better.
Has anyone else had disappointing…
Has anyone else had disappointing results with Furnished Finder recently?
We paid about $200 for a listing and unfortunately did not receive a single lead or inquiry. We reached out to support, but were told the fee is non-refundable.
I understand no platform can guarantee bookings, but it’s frustrating to see zero engagement after paying for the listing.
Curious if others are experiencing the same thing lately, or if there are specific strategies that made the platform work for you.
Are travel nurse/mid-term rental leads slowing down overall, or are there better platforms people are using now?
If I could leave a ZERO I would
If I could leave a ZERO I would. I left 12 inquiries as well, wrote all 12 as to the availability or ANY information regarding there posted rental. 2 of the 12 actually got back to me about availability or otherwise. I compare this with airbnb, and in EVERY case the landlord or agent swiftly responded. Furnished Finders is NOT a reliable source, as it is not supervised for efficiency in this area, more than disappointed.
Avoid the nightmare
First the platform is a nightmare to use. I reached out to 5 different landlords for a one month stay in June. Only 2 were responsive and after days of crypted messages through this tedious app they claimed at the last minute that property was no longer available. Absolutely a waste of valuable time we don't have while looking for housing.
Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible - mostly bots or several people repeating themselves and policies over and over. No real help. I subscribed as an host and then my house went under contract a few days later. I tried to get a partial refund of the $200 year long subscription and after emailing and calling and being promised a call back by a manager that never came, I was refused even a partial refund. My account was active for 6 days and the posting was not even made public yet. So zero service for $200. Shameful.
Landlords - run , don't walk away from Furnished Finder
I'm a landlord that signed up for Furnished Finder yesterday. Their system was buggy and failed on photo upload and during initial payment submission. I asked for a cancelation and refund this morning - less than 24 hours after initial sign up and Furnished Finder is refusing to refund. To all landlords out there - think twice before signing up on FF. A reputable company would refund my money after documented system issues.
Do not use them to list your property
I tried to cancel before the automatic renewal but the online chat bot kept changing my words as I was typing. After I still got charged, I called. Couldn't get through because they were experiencing a higher than normal amount of callers.
I called back but requested to list my property and went right through. The person I talked to refused to cancel or refund my money so I had no choice but to contact the BBB and leave a review everywhere I can. Don't use them to list your property.
paid for them and got nothing its been…
paid for them and got nothing its been over 6 months
FF sucks !!!
FF sucks !!!
They don't manage their landlords. 50% of owners replied "not available" when ad said "available !!!
That is even if they replied.
They charge a 199 dollar subscription…
They charge a 199 dollar subscription fee their site is impossible to navigate the thiers5hidden charges on top of that their bot is hopeless to help the prices the prices they offer are impossible to belive can't, log in it's impossible even to get your subscription money canceled they post 0 reviews it's a scam don't fall for it I've spent the last 20 hours trying to navigate and get help they won't give you a number to call but I found one which I'll call to mow am are is so much better im very disappointed and feeling ripped off I meant are is so much better that's what I'm going to do
Absolutely terrible company - they are ripoff artists
Absolutely terrible company. Do NOT use. They are a scam company and ripoff their customers. Despite multiple attempts to cancel services they kept charging for services against our will. Once they have your payment info they will keep charging you. We had to dispute the charges with the bank and replace our credit card to get our money back. Stay away!
