The worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt…
The worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with.
Rude. They never have my prescriptions in stock. Absolutely fed up with CVS. Preferred pharmacy by my insurance not by me. Time to change pharmacies
I had an extremely negative experience…
I had an extremely negative experience at CVS in Henderson, NV off Bicentennial on January 30th due to an associate named Crystal. She is a middle-aged woman with very short, gray hair, and her behavior was shockingly unprofessional.
She was unfriendly, rude, and completely unhelpful from the moment I interacted with her. This is not the first time I have experienced this behavior from her, and unfortunately, my adult son has had similar experiences. On more than one occasion, she has followed him around the store in a way that felt accusatory and inappropriate, as if she assumed he was stealing. That kind of treatment is unacceptable.
No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or singled out while shopping. I am genuinely disappointed that a company like CVS would continue to employ someone who repeatedly treats customers this way.
On another note, I would like to acknowledge another associate who assisted me, I believe her name is Kera (sp). She was outstanding—professional, kind, and very helpful. She also apologized multiple times for Crystal’s behavior, which I appreciated. Her level of customer service was exactly what I expect from CVS.
I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the situation, because it reflects very poorly on the store as a whole.
Pharmacist refused to answer the phone
Pharmacist refused to answer the phone. Their automated system will keep you on the phone for 15 minutes trying to reach a human being. They don’t care about their customers. They only care about their bottom line.
CVS Pharmacy Dunbar WV - nobody answers phone & automatically disconnects you
Absolutely impossible to get a person to answer phone at CVS pharmacy at Dunbar WV location only ask a question about my elderly mother's medication. After two unsuccessful attempts, called main number and kept getting recording your call cannot be transferred to 0525, beats me what extension that is, Finally after six unsuccessful attempts it disconnected me. I'd give them a zero if possible.

Customer Service Concern
Customer Service Concern
I am reporting ongoing customer service issues with the pharmacy that are negatively impacting patient care.
Phone calls frequently go unanswered regardless of the time of day. When calls are answered, staff responses are often rude and unhelpful. Patients are being informed that prescriptions are “not available,” when in reality the medication is either out of stock or a prior authorization is required. This misinformation causes confusion, delays in care, and unnecessary frustration for patients.
Today, I have been calling from a doctor’s office since 9:30 AM to verify prescriptions. Calls repeatedly went to a full voicemail, were disconnected, or were placed on hold and then sent back to voicemail. When I was finally able to speak with someone, no name was provided. When I asked why it was taking so long for calls to be answered, I was told that during lunch time the phone is not answered, despite my attempts beginning well before that time.
The response I received was dismissive and unprofessional. When I explained that a patient had been told their prescription was not available, I was then informed that the pharmacy was actually out of the medication. Patients should be given accurate information so they understand what is truly happening, rather than being misinformed.
Overall, the lack of responsiveness, professionalism, and clear communication significantly impacts patient care and continuity of treatment.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
For day of experience this is a every day calling to CVS is the prablablr the last thisng I want to do I will recomend patient to look for different pharamcy,
Very hard to contact and talk to a live person.
Very hard to contact and talk to a pharmacist. My own experience they are always getting my proscription wrong. One tells me to bring it in for correct prescription and when I do another one refuses to correct. Over and over I go through this. Go anywhere but here. They are horrible!!
Terrible service and they short you on…
Terrible service and they short you on medication
DANGER
My experience goes well simply beyond poor service. I picked up an eye medication and when I opened the box, the seal was broken. I asked for a refund since I was certainly not going to trust them for the next time. The pharmacist was nasty, the Caremark representatives were useless even though I was kept on the phone for literally hours.
Needless to say, unopened prescription drugs present a dangerous situation and have been the subject of a number of class actions.
I wish the issue was limited to poor service. The service was indeed poor but the danger was real.
Lots of prescriptions dispensing
When it's time to get a prescription filled I will receive a message asking if I want to have the prescription filled. I say no. I have it on my profile to not fill the prescription and to ask me first. I continue to get text messages to pick up your prescription pick up your prescription. The only way I can get out of not getting these messages is to pick up the prescription. A prescription that I don't need. I'm sure this is happening to others,so they probably just pick up the prescriptions.
I recall when my Mom and my Aunt died they had bags filled with prescriptions from CVS that they had not used. Even though they were using prescriptions. The prescriptions were coming faster than they should. Hmmmmm
CVS Pharmacy website does not work
CVS Pharmacy website does not work; the first call did not give me the code to sign up for the website. did it again got the code, but the code was not recognized did it again and did not get a code; now I can't sign in at all. Dumbest experience ever! CVS get with the program! I won't be using their website to check on scripts; because it is a trash website. So So So STUPID Waste of time.

Trying to get a hold of someone about a prescription and they don’t answer you have to leave a message. As many people that works in there you would think that they have some one there. I’ll just go to Walmart at least they have some who you can speak with.
Kept calling the Guilford CT pharmacy
Kept calling the Guilford CT pharmacy, and the prompt request to identify if I needed parmacy or front end would not respond to commands and disconnected the calls. Had to call the Madison CT store for service. Phone system should function or offer a human option.
I am new to the area and wanted to use…professionalism and kindness when trying to fix a prescription error.
I am new to the area and wanted to use a new local pharmacy. I have been on a medicine to control my epilepsy for years and was trying to fill my prescription two days ago. I cannot live without my medicine and literally could die if I do not have my medicine. It is a guarantee I will have a seizure if I don't have my medicine. That means my life as a normal human being is also affected. I walked into the CVS and gave them my new information. I also tried to give them my insurance but they were arguing with me about my insurance. I had never given to them. They were clearly in a hurry but I didn't realize their lunch started in ten minutes.
I finally talked them into taking my insurance card and then they ran my other card I had got from my Dr. for a discount. They had made a mistake on the prescription which I caught. She told me I would need to come back after their lunch. I said, look I didn't make the mistake and I cannot come back after lunch without rearranging my schedule. Where I didn't make the mistake, can you please fix it. I looked down at my watch and it was three minutes into the interaction. The pharmacist turned off the lights and went to lunch. The girl up front could not finish with her customer. I thought it was the rudest and most unwelcoming act a professional could do when serving people. If they were gonna act in such a rush and lunch is more important than their customers they are in the wrong business. Otherwise, shut down 5 minutes early so someone doesn't walk up to the window. I felt rushed and then mistakes were made. I had to come back an hour later to fix their mistake. Then I got home and they filled the prescription wrong. I ended up going back and they proceeded to tell me they didn't have the correct medicine, I would need to go to the other CVS across town. I did that immediately as I was starting to panic that I wouldn't get my medicine and possibly have a seizure as we were going into a weekend. To say this was stressful would be an understatement. I have never had this experience in 40 plus years. Then I was told I had to take the other medicine back to the original pharmacy to give to them so they could cancel out so my insurance would let them fill the correct prescription. They would not cancel their error, help me and I had to pay $300.00 out of pocket to get my medicine. Although I know my Dr. sent in a specific order that was received and to specify exactly what needed to be done.
1. I have full insurance
2. I am epileptic and will have a grandmal without my medicine. This isn't heartburn or high blood pressure. I was in a full panic to say the least.
3. Lunch break was more important than finishing with a customer. I actually felt bad for the girl at the front. They literally turned the lights off on her.
4. I should never have had this experience and this is not good business.
5. I will be looking for a customer friendly pharmacy that believes in customer needs. I almost felt like two of them found it funny that I was so frustrated.
If you needed your medicine as I do, I do not think they would act in this unprofessional manner.
6. The one pharmacist looked right at me and said, you will have to pay cash and out of pocket (due to our error). She also made it clear that the procedures in CVS are different because they don't have the same manager. When asked about the overall model, goals and procedures attached to CVS, the question appeared to confuse her. Apparently, universal procedures under the CVS Pharmacy are not universal or applicable to that specific pharmacy.
7. I had to have a ride back to town 4 times to get my medicine before a three day weekend. Can you imagine if I was a elderly person and couldn't advocate for myself? I now have three months of a medicine, I paid for through insurance and they would not trade out for the correct medicine. They NEVER had the medicine from the very first visit.
I told them I couldn't drive at this moment and was told, "well you can get a ride back!" .
8. I never signed anything or spoke to a pharmacist until I finally demanded to speak to a pharmacist.
I have never received medicine where I haven't spoke to the pharmacist. Especially at a new pharmacy whether in Arizona, Oregon or other states. I also have never received medicine where I didn't sign the release to speak pharmacist.
If they are doing this to the regular public, there must be a greater problem within this pharmacy.
I was so disappointed in the customer service although the second pharmacy (in Target) we went to was better than the one on Commerce Blvd.
She was professional and helpful and tried her best to help. They made such a mess she couldn't help me.
I would suggest they have a training in professionalism, customer service, medication error procedures, and expansion of scope of practice guidelines.
This experience and interaction was disappointing and dangerous.
Overpriced Chaos Disguised as Convenience
CVS somehow manages to charge premium prices in a cramped store 🙃 Their “sales” are a joke—still more expensive than the grocery store. Pharmacy texts claim prescriptions are ready when nothing was filled…or even ordered. Absolute chaos and zero coordination. 🤦♂️ Amazon may have flaws, but at least I get competitive prices and prescriptions delivered straight to my door. CVS delivers confusion, inflated prices, and wasted time. No thanks. 💸🚫
Hate the phone system
Hate the phone system. Terrible and waste of time.
Why is this place still in business
Why is this place still in business? If your doctor truly cares about you and your health, they will not use CVS for their prescriptions. CVS is one of the worst businesses for consumers, the products are way overpriced, and the company doesn't want to have to deal with people, just their wallets. I despise CVS.
Went to the Dorset st CVs
Went to the Dorset st CVs, Prices too high, I wanted a certain cereal and orange juice way high. And cashier who was sneezing quite a lot needs to wear a mask, be respectful of your customers, because they don't know who just recovered from a cold, flu and dealing with older people.
CVS/Aetna has unfair hiring practices
CVS/Aetna has unfair hiring practices, they have a very a wide range in the pay rate and then make their offer based on the applicant's demographic.
