This website is a scam, because they give sugestion to use aspiremoney, which has just 2 negative reviews on Trustpilot! )) On my free check they show that my score is 999 - it's wrong of course - they just want my money, I suppose. All these credit score websites just make money for themselves and are not there to help us.

Cannot Log on to site, does not recognise my email or Password. Terrible communication, Just trying to speak to somebody to help to log on is hopeless, recorded message option take too long then leads to wrong department, in middle or transfer to "correct" department it cut off connection. Stay away from this site, you'll spend more on calls to the company than on subscriptions?

They said their system is faultless and its the customers and those submitting data who mess things up.
I'd give less stars if possible. My accounts are inxs of £1600 out. My total debt exposure is less than £4000.
I'm at a loss when I consider how much they charge and free company's like Credit Kalma are more accurate.
Furthermore they said they were not aware they were on TRUST PILOT'S review site and calling themselves EXPERT nither devalued the term nor was it false advertising.

So Experian have are closing my account that I have been paying for over the last 3 plus years (at least £600).

Why? Because I asked them to rectify an issue on my account, which is what the membership fee is for.

They haven't connected my electoral roll, every time I complain, they say it will be fixed in 6 weeks, every 6 weeks I am still not on the electoral roll on Experian.

So now they've just said: we're cancelling your account and I need to open a new one.

However, I won't be able to open a new one because I'm not on the electoral roll.

I've never been rude, just reminded them that I need to connect my electoral roll registration.

1) I've been on the roll for a long time – I confirmed this with the council.
2) My wife an I registered on the same day, my wife was added a few weeks later on her Experian account.
3) Equifax have picked up my electoral roll registration over two months ago
4) The other day I got my polling card – I'm on the roll

This is, I think a problem with Experian given the facts above. Their solution – ban me after I've paid £600 membership.

I've spoken to their rep "Neil" in email and he has confirmed that they are closing my account for asking them to do their job and I won't be able to open a new account because Experian's system hasn't picked me up on the roll.

In short I've paid £600 for nothing.

I didn't start off with a good experience as I was charged twice as soon as I opened my account. When I cancelled my account literally straight after I received my refund money was taken from my account, again! The unauthorised payments didn't stop there. Experian has taken close to £80 out of my account when it should have only been £5!

My experience with Experian has been fantastic. Initially I took advantage of the free trail. I couldn't understand why my credit score was "fair". From the information provided on the app, in conjunction with the online website, within a year my credit score is now excellent. I do pay for the monthly £14.99 membership. Not only I can keep track of my finances, the membership includes a service which monitiors potential internet fraudulent activity. In fact, if I hadn't been a member a company had made a hard search, without my consent or knowledge. I would have been oblivious to this had I not received a notification from the app. After I'd contacted Experian, they dealt with the company in question, then removed the hard search from my account.

I'm genuinely surprised that Experian have such dreadful reviews.

Bad customer experience and make it very difficult to cancel membership. Avoid.

App is awful, doesn't work. Resetting just send you round in circles.

Poor service. The free trial you get is a joke and doesn't actually work, so you get fleeced of the £14.99.

So many of the same reviews, this is an FCA regulated company how can they have such bad reviews they're even worse than most banks which is incredible.

I too have tried to cancel, I've challenged advice they gave me to take out a credit card that's actually reduced my score rather than increasing it and now cant cancel it without damaging my score further. Experian take no responsibility and have deleted the evidence.

Question how can this company which lost millions of peoples data in a hack that operates in such a position of trust and abuses people so clearly is able to operate with such impunity, samecapplies to the other credit ret agencies are no better

Opted for a free 30 day trial to access my accounts. Once I had finished with that, I cancelled the future subscriptions.
How I have just noticed my online banking that Experian have been taking £14.99 out for several months, though I do not use or require their services.
Their website is diabolical and cannot easily complain or speak to a human, completely incompetent and are cooperate theives.

Experian CreditExpert is what you get if you were to get a ten year old to design a personal finance reporting/alert system. The login is awful, in that you have to to enter the code sent to your mobile twice. Then when you look at the alert messages, they are incomplete and it invites you to look at the detail in the report itself but when you do, it doesn't show you - its most gaddam awful system designed by a human being. You have to be a brain-dead numpty to fail so badly!! Complaining is useless, as all they do is waste your time repeating the same rubbish that it is all working beautifully.

Can't log on tried helpline number it just sends you round a loop and can't talk to anybody eventually got through by pressing number that said I had been a victim of fraud and then told a few people are having problems logging in today but when I checked online this fault has been going on for days

This is genuinely the worst service I've ever attempted to use. The people at the end of the phone are nice enough but, if you value your sanity, stay well away from Experian ID service. Beyond awful.

Website down for 2 days now and cant access my credit report. because of this I have missed the boat on a mortgage application I could have challenged with a low interest provider! No help on the phone just that they are experiencing technical difficulties. No response to messages. Dreadful system and service. Wish so much the lender could use another credit score company! Livid

What a waste of time. Spent 5 minutes listening to automative voice then placed on hold for 10 minutes. What does this company actually do except waste your time !!

Experian is the worst of the worst, they are stealing money off people without them realising even when you cancel your membership/subscription they carry out taking money out of your account. I have tried to cancel the direct debit on my bank account but my bank is telling me there is no direct debit setup and it was cancelled. This still does not stop Experian, they are still managing to take a payment without any authority from myself.

I have created a customer care case and I am still getting nowhere with recieving all my money back since I have cancelled my membership this has been happening for such a long period of time, yet there is no urgency shown from Experian to contact me with a resolution but they would rather not contact me at all and keep me waiting for a response.

Experian is a company that is meant to help consumers get there credit in check and advise on how to boost it and maintain a good credit score, after this experience I believe they can now never be trusted with anything.

Beware people, all of the major banks use this useless shower. Avoid. I am now changing banks, as this lot have made my life hell. PS my rating with three other companies is excellent. Also why cant we give a zero ?????.

Awful company. They advertise a free credit score but you can't get it unless you pay the fee. You can't contact them on the phone number unless you have an account with them and pay the fee. You end up in telephone loop hell. They don't respond to messages. Don't use them ! If I could give them a minus star I would

Complete waste of money, may as well use the free service as their reports are way out of date and customer service abysmal. I reported my accounts were way out of date (some 8 weeks behind) after making full payment on all of my credit cards, no update of accounts or response from their customer service.

Absolutely unreal it has taken me 9 months to cancel my account , I have three emails confirmation confirming it’s been done starting from August saying its been cancelled but they have still taken the money out my account and sent me over drawn ! Please don’t bother with this company claims it’s their to help you improve your credit rating but put you in a worse position. Would have given NO stars if it was a option.
