Not one to ever write a bad review.
Had my residence cleaned prior to leaving for a trip away. Upon inspection before departing, I found smudges on the cupboards, dirt still in the shower, and a range of other issues — two mirrors had not even been cleaned. They also left smears of strong-smelling cleaning products and didn’t bother to relock the property, which is a safety concern.
I will note the only items present in an otherwise empty property were a coffee machine they had to clean around, and one box of wine from my cellar due to be packed that was sitting on the bench. I asked them to move it off the bench so it could be wiped down — the bench itself was not an issue and was cleaned. The owner cited this as the reason for their poor cleaning job.
A property manager from a reputable Sydney agency came in and stated she had never seen a worse clean. She provided a photographed, marked-up report with images of all the issues, which was formally sent to them.
They offer a bond-back guarantee — however, when the agent provided them a timeframe, they stated they were unable to meet it. I was required to pay for an entirely new clean, for which I was happy to provide receipts given how dissatisfied the agent was.
I will also add that the owner was particularly aggressive — as a woman I found him very argumentative, looking to shift blame and avoid any form of reimbursement.
Instead of this company, I would recommend Dash and Shine or Made to Go — both excellent to deal with, and at the same or lower cost.
