After booking, 30 minutes later got a call saying I would have to switch flights and pay more. Would not refund my money.

They will sell you inflight protection and cancellation protection and then if you have to cancel they refuse to honour it. They are scam artists and anyone considering booking a trip with them don’t do it. They are the worst company I ever had to deal with very ignorant and demeaning. Don’t have anything to do with them. I wish I could give them a negative five star rating

Run Away!!! They show you cheap price and and they call you to change or upgrade for exponential price. They are thief, After I booked, they keep calling me to upgrade because they said no economy seats available after i booked. 10 minutes later on, another person called me and said, it has to be stand by coming back in that one can fly and two of us we have to wait to get back unless we upgrade our seats. I told him to conceal my account because stories keep changing person to person. 3rd person said, going is the problem, I have to change my flight to one hour earlier otherwise I do not get refund through them. My flight went from $1300 to $1700. Since she said I may get credit if I cancel, I decide to pay it. They are slick. At end, they sent me a document to sign. It is totally through different airlines than what I booked. They are scam artist.

beware of this company they will rip you off on flights in times of dispair and will then charge you more money on an open ticket

Classic Bait & Switch. We made a reservation online and received a confirmation email for the tickets. We called them after not hearing back. They told us new charge is $210 more per ticket. They raised price and said "they couldn't keep the initial rate" and keep insisting for 40 minutes that they have the best deal in the market. They refused to credit back the money. Don’t get deceived by the low rates as they will raise their rates on you! They are scammers

I thought that I was talking to a representative from SAS airlines. I called less than 24 hours from booking my trip to Copenhagen as I decided that we would return from Bergen in Norway instead of from Stockholm. I was slightly curious about the fact that the price seemed slightly higher than what I paid the day before but I did not push it. I did ask at least three times during the discussion as to whether I had trip insurance which I had purchased the previous day and Charlie advised me that I did have trip insurance. Several days later, I received a cancellation form from the insurance company as the insurance was purchased on the original trip which was canceled. I now have a trip that cost me more than the day before and no trip insurance. I called again and another individual informed me that yes I have insurance but no copy of the coverage. I definitely feel that I have been scammed and realize that I probably will not be receiving any assistance from this company who did not advise me that I was talking to a travel company instead of directly to the airline.

Please do not go on this website. It is a scam.

Cheap fares.com is more like misrepresentation of the Spirit airlines with a twist of Manipulation!. BEWARE! Horrible experience! I was not able to get on my flight because spirit said 2 late to check in your bag that I already paid an extra charge with cheap fares. Spirit airlines said you need 2 hours prior to this short trip Frontier requires 1 hour for boarding where spirit requires 2 . Then Calvin neglected to inform me it was too late by the time I got my boarding pass.only hours before my flight! They are more concerned on how your gonna pay for the checked in bag than explain the rules or tell you detail pertinent info! & kept asking me for my Visa! Never informed me! I have never flown spirit, & will never do so again! Cheapfares Initially booked with a 356.77 charge as Zac placed a courtesy “hold” for 1 hour. than said that’s fine call bk in 30 min to confirm than low & behold it went up another 100.00! What hold?! They LIE! They asked to speak w the spirit airline staff and Spirit said NO! We don’t talk to 3rd party companies, they’re typically misleading & do absolutely NOTHING TO make it right! The airline told me to stay away from them lots of problems with them! & Still NO Resolution! Got stuck paying an addition 99.00 to rebook ticket for tomorrow. End up missing my friends birthday party! They couldn’t even adjust the price or credit me anything for the inconvenience !Clearly spirit airline is NOT on the same page with this phony company that reals you in to take your money! Stick with booking directly w the airlines and SAVE yourself a headache! & loss of money!!! I do NOT recommend this company I should’ve known based on how unprofessional they answer their phone! Indian based company with no compassion! Vultures! My ticket that should’ve been 356 round trip end up costing me 656! Nearly doubled!!! Do yourself a favor & STAY AWAY! THIS IS BAD BUSINESS!

Booked a last minute flight to leave the next morning. Ticket was supposed to arrive in a few minutes. After an hour and a half I went on live chat to see where my ticket was. After checking the agent came back and said it was a fraud booking. I told him it had been put through my credit card company already and would I get my money back and he said it was probably just pending and wouldnt go through. After calling my credit card co. who said they hadnt blocked my card, I decided not to try rebooking and cancelled my arrangements for my trip. Then after 4 hours I get a text that my ticket had been issued at 9:00 pm This time I called to find out what was going on and got a rude person just tell me it was too late to cancel. Didnt seem to grasp that I hadn’t cancelled and had been told it was fraud and now I had dropped all my arrangements and couldn’t go. Then called my credit card company who said if the payment got posted to dispute the charge. Of course it got posted so left this review but got called by the company asking me to remove the review and they would look into it. I did remove it but of course nothing more has happened and I doubt it will. Not removing it anymore unless I get satisfaction of my money back which is doubtful. NEVER use Cheapflights or Flair. Terrible companies.

Booked online with cheapfares and got an email with their bookingnumber, saying they would be processing my payment and I would receive another email with the airline e-ticket and confirmation. Started getting phone calls saying my fare was no longer available and offering more expensive options. A CLEAR CASE OF BAIT AND SWITCH. Do not do business with cheapfares AKA asap.

Bait and switch times two. This company should not be in business. They advertise a low fare, you book it, they send you a confirmation and an hour later they (from India) call to say the fare has gone up and ask for authorization to pay the additional amount. In my case, it was almost double the advertised price. My wife had an almost identical experience a few hours earlier. The rep called her and said the fare had increased from $348 to $1100 but that they would cut “her a deal” and offered her the one way ticket for $550. We both ended up purchasing our tickets through the official airline site paying more than the advertised cheapfare.com price but less than their scammed price. My advice: DO NOT, under any circumstance, use this company to purchase an airline ticket. They are a complete scam and should not be trusted.

Total bait and switch scheme. They let you make a reservation at an amazing price, only to call you later and tell you that your low-cost seat (basic economy) is sold out, and you must pay $200 more dollars to them to stay on that flight but in a more expensive (main cabin) seat. And they said I would need to wait 24 hours to get confirmation for that main cabin seat. I had no idea why it should take 24 hours, so I replaced my credit card and just bought my ticket through the regular airline website. It was $35 more than the new price they had quoted me, but was well worth the confidence and peace of mind that I did in fact have a ticket. Terrible.

I worked with Shea and she was wonderful. She walked me through the whole process and followed up to be sure all went well. I was able to contact my usual airline (frequent flyer) and get miles for this trip as well as select our seats. The whole experience was great. Many thanks to Shea for all her help to this new comer to Cheapfares.
