I bought a Canon Printer

I bought a Canon Printer and have not been able to get it to work since I bought it. I bought Canon ink because it came with empty color cartridge. Still did not work. I have been back and forwards to Canon by email and no help what so ever. Can not get a refund even though still under warranty. So completely disgusted.

Canon R5C Cine Camera

This review is about my recent experience purchasing a Canon R5C camera. I was informed the fan fixed the overheating problem and that I could use my EF lenses. I wasn't made aware a lot of functions wouldn't be available.

Just sitting and learning all the settings which is not easy by the way, the camera did run warm and fogged my lens which took about 15 minutes to clear. I called the place of purchase and instructed to turn fan on full and that should sort it. It didn't. I had three fogging events with the camera just turned on as I navigated through menus.

I can't have a camera that may or may not fog up at any time with an unknown time for the lens to defog. I have returned the camera but now stuck with $1,500 in two CFexpress cards purchased from a different retailer as the store I bought the camera from was out of them.

The camera should come with a warning that it runs hot and will fog your lenses. Battery life was about 20-25 minutes just going through menus so it chews through them. I was sold a coupler that didn't work with it.

Stills look great, video picture quality good but how can you do a professional shoot not knowing when your camera is going to decide to fog your lenses. Canon really needs to sort this out and a lot of the menu items being greyed out.

Make sure you check which lenses will give you all the features as it's a narrow list. I hope Canon puts a disclaimer on this camera. I dropped $10,000 on the camera and extras, then $1,500 on two extra cards. It was a waste of my time as I would never have purchased it if I was warned the camera runs hot, can fog your lenses and the EF lens incompatibility for important functions.

I'm really disappointed in Canon about this. I've been with Canon since 1994 as a CPS member in the USA and now in Australia.

I was having a lot of trouble connecting my camera to the internet and also to cannon connect app. After 2 days getting frustrated and annoyed I decided to call Cannon. My experience was nothing short of excellence. Nikko looked after me with such patience and his excellent knowledge. Thank you Nikko.

EOS 6D Mk2

Recently purchased an EOS 6D MK2 as a replacement to the Mark 1. There is quite a jump in the tech of the Mark 2 and some aspects seemed a little confusing. I called one of the tech support team, and they were fantastic! Guided me through what I needed and presto! As good as the Mark 1 was, the successor is streets ahead and I couldn't be happier. Great product, great support - thanks guys!

Was recommended to buy Canon iP110 portable printer - it's crap, won't work without both colour and b/w cartridges. Nearly 12 months old it stopped working. Five calls to Canon 5 - twice cut off after waiting on hold for over 30 mins, finally got through after 43 minutes of "we will be with you shortly." Three promised return calls from support, (the first guy was so rude), finally I threatened with Fair Trading, guy rang but was extremely rude to the point I told him to speak to me nicely or I would report him. he blamed Telstra on the problem, which it isn't. Never buy from them again.

I love canon products

I love canon products - extremely reliable for me. My last printer/scanner is 10 years old and still going. My next printer will be a Canon. Same with cameras.

Shame about the other two reviews - hope Canon takes note.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CANON ONLINE!

I recently purchased the PIXMA ip8760 and it is not what I thought it was. I expected for the price that it would at least copy or flatbed scan as my last high res canon printer MX726, which was also 9600 x 4200 dpi, did everything for half the price. Which unfortunately they have discontinued now and it seems they want you to purchase 2 products now to get the same results. Canon do not offer anything comparable to the MX726 today as the highest resolution on their mulitfunction printers is 4800 x 1200 which is not great for fine details in photos. I thought technology was to improve not get worse! Sadly as with many companies now Canon are all about money and not the customer needs or experience. This printer to me is now just a cumbersome single function printer. I suggest looking into the EPSON mulitfunction Expression A3 printers. Same price with the extra functions. I wish I purchased one of those!!!! Dealing with Canon has also been a horrible experience…..they do not accept returns, well they say they do but they expect you to pay for the return postage so from Perth to NSW is approx $65 so DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CANON ONLINE! Purchase from a store if you can so that you can return it if you are not satisfied. Canon online would not even allow me to return it to the Canon store in my state. I have always purchased Canon printers for as long as I can remember. This will now be my last.

Canon Pixma MX926 - JUNK!

This printer has had very little use in 2.5 years and now when I turn it on, I get error code B200 which means the print head is broken. Not only that, but it will not even allow me to scan or fax which does not require the print head! Complete waste of money! I've tried all the possible fixes online, all to no avail.
