When we walked in, we were kindly helped by the salesman named Farman. We told him what we were looking for and he directed us to an undercounter fridge that met our requirements. They had an "open" box model available at a $200 discount. After verifying with Farman that we would have 48 hours to take it home and make sure it worked (or we could return it and pay the difference for a boxed one), we purchased the unit . We waited the suggested 24 hours to plug the unit in after moving it, but it turned out, that the unit does not work at all. It would not even start. I called Farman immediately and then reached out by email, only to be told that despite what he said at the time of purchase, the store policy is such that they will not return the "open box" and we would have to go through warranty to get our brand new unit repaired. (But, as per his email, I was free to tell the returns department that it was his "miscommunication" and see if they would help me which he knew they wouldn't)...
It is now the night of April 11 and we are weeks away from getting our brand new unit, purchased on April 1, repaired and working. The unit has a refrigerant leak that requires repair and the unit then needs be charged, by yet another tech. Hopefully, that is the only issue and it starts working at that point. Regardless, the event that we actually needed it for, has since passed.
We are so frustrated and disappointed as Farman is quite aware that he gave us misinformation or we would never have purchased their floor model.

Excellent customer service especially from Pavneet Kaur from the Millstream store. From placing an order to delivery, it was an easy experience. They followed up after delivery and emailed the warranty information. I would highly recommend.

The store was large and well-stocked. There were two sales people to help with our selection. The sales experience was not unpleasant and included the purchase of an extended warranty and the use of credit. It was only afterwards that we realized that we did not have a very exact idea of what our extended warranty included, there being no policy number or booklet; plus we did not fully appreciate that what the salesperson had explained to us in terms of monthly payments was not actually how the credit company described the repayments. The delivery and installation phases were each preceded by several emails from CAS. The delivery was made on schedule; but our salesperson had expected that our unit would be unpacked - which it was not. The installation went according to plan, on another day, except that the packing materials that our salesperson had expected to be removed were left for us to dispose of. Several emails to the salesperson about the issues we experienced went unanswered, which is really disappointing.
Farman was very professional and a pleasure
to do business with.

Got a dishwasher 2 weeks ago, since installation it’s been giving me nothing but drainage issues and error codes, not possible to just return it, have to go through the warranty process with the manufacturer, not ok.

It was a kinked hose. 5 extra minutes at end would have ensure our satisfaction

We did have a delivery issue with the 3rd party delivery people, but I have to say that the people at Canadian Appliance Source got back to us and resolved everything. It's nice when a company steps up, does the right thing and works with you. We will keep them on our radar for future purchases.
