The team was very efficient during the interview process. The questionnaire was easy to complete. The Director Profile created from the information I provided was excellent.

The concept is sound, they claim to help pair you to Boards seeking members. They charge a monthly fee and give you access to their "list" of companies.

They recruit you based on your qualifications. The sales rep claimed they prescreen and only seek out the right people. When I asked placement rates I was told 90% because they are selective.

They had very few companies add listing during my time(6 months) only about 10 new companies. So maybe 150 total companies for several hundred paying members.

I searched and applied to ones that fit my background. But the applications go through boardsi, so you don't have any contact with the companies. In the 6 months I only saw one company change from seeking to role closed.

They claim that they send your resume out on your behalf, in addition to your searches. But there is no evidence of any contact with any of the companies listed.

I don't think it is a complete scam, but it is definitely oversold, and over promised in the sales process. My advice would be to stay away.

It was an easy and seamless process and they have people to assist you along the way. They made it inviting to participate on boards for great companies around the county.

I was initially interviewed which went very, very well and I was VERY impressed with the breadth of topics covered. The write-up was presented with an invitation to edit. I commented that I couldn't have done better myself and had absolutely no edits to make!

I can't believe that I just gave this organization money and received virtually NOTHING about how to use the system, what they would be doing to help me find a potenial Board or Advisory position. The lack of communication and expecation setting is unbelievable. I sure learned my lesson.

Boardsi really turned things around for me when I thought I was ready to leave the platform. for two months I thought Boardsi ghosted me or gave generic runaround responses. The governance and compliance courses are shockingly low-quality. Sections repeat themselves verbatim, and several of the quiz questions are flat-out wrong, which makes it hard to take the training seriously.

When I enrolled, I was told they’d be connecting me with companies for potential opportunities. But after an entire month with zero communication, I assumed nothing had happened. Only when I called to cancel did I learn (for the first time) that they claimed to have “put me in front of” four companies. The lack of transparency and follow-through was deeply disappointing.

Filters you'd expect to be standard in any platform when searching through aren't available, making searching very time-consuming.

Save your money and look elsewhere.

Jennifer Swaby has been great. Once I engaged with her, I was guided to several good opportunities!

The onboarding process was excellent. The only recommendation that I'd make is to review the AI generated Bio a little better.
