I have purchased a guitar that was supposed to be delivered next day. Unfortunately, the package seems gone missing and I am receiving no proactive support from customer service- no email, no "sorry for the inconvenience", no solutions. I called the customer service number, the waiting time everytime I called is average 20 minutes and I am not receiving yet any explanation on where my purchased items are, a replacement or money back. It seems that customers have to wait for the internal investigations to be finalized before receiving the amount paid back or any proactive notitification. Waiting time for these investigations, as communicated over the phone:2 weeks. No help or alternative solutions offered meanwhile. It would be great not to push the company logistic issues to the final customer and allow immediate refund. When problems arise, which can happen, at a minimum Bax music should keep the customer PROACTIVELY informed and PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION (refund or discount on next purchased item, or the possibility to borrow an instrument for free.) Think outside the box, Bax!

A terrible company. They sent a broken and incomplete order and although confirming I was eligible for a refund, I'm now having to raise a dispute through my bank to recover the money

Hard to believe how the largest music equipment retailer in the Netherlands can go bankrupt. I have had a LONG running nightmare with Bax, since I placed an order back in November 2024 for a Pioneer CDJ3000 and never had the order fulfilled-- there was also NO delivery date. In March 2025, I was notified by a collections (incasso) agency that Bax had filed for BANKRUPTCY! I thought I would never get my money back, and when they resumed operations in May 2025, I was told that a refund was not possible, but then it was also impossible to contact anyone at Bax to get any information or status on the backorders. There was only an email address to contact, with an automated reply saying there would be a response within 8 weeks! Unbelievable.

In August 2025 I was finally contacted by someone in the Bax team offering me to a) place an order for the original item or b) get a credit on my account. I responded with the first option (as I have been waiting since November 2024 to upgrade my DJing equipment), and was told that the items has been discontinued. After a quick check around from other retailers, it was clear that Bax was the only one who was probably blacklisted by AlphaTheta after the bankrupcy, as they all have it in stock. Wanting to finally close this frustrating chapter, I was able to order some equipmen that was in stock (and ordered a DJM-A9 mixer), and then proceeded to pick up my originally ordered item--the CDJ3000-- from ToneControl, who will get all my future business. Thanks and good luck, Bax - you will never see a cent of my money again

Thank you Mr Valentine for fixing my Ukulele and Guitar in a wonderful shape! Enjoyed buying Yamaha HS7 and Focusrite 4i4. Very friendly staff and very much understanding of the customer requirement! Will keep visiting and it's alway my fav shop! I highly recommend the shop for all the music lovers around!

Using BaxMusic since I came to NL 7 years ago. Used their warranty service, returns, etc. NeVer had any problems. Service is always quick, nice and to the point. Some Could learn a thing or two from them.

Avoid this company!!! I ordered a Rolland drum pad for £689.00 back in may for my husbands birthday, I was expecting it to be dispatched in four days as it was advertised. However three months down the line and I still don’t have it. I have reached out to the company via email and Facebook just to be ignored and fobbed off. Luckily I paid with my credit card so am able to claim it back through them. Please save yourself the disappointment and avoid this company. Complete rip off merchants. If I could give no stars I would! Terrible.

They probably manage their stock with an excel spreadsheet. 14 days waiting for shipping of 6 items that fit in a letterbox. Very slow costumer service. Solution offered (after announcing items had been shipped while not true), was to refund as items were no longer in stock. Extreme waste of time and disrespect for the costumer.

I bought some equipment that was never sent, I asked for a refund and they dont want to give it to me. It takes over one month to get a response for any email. I strongly recommend to use a different store.

Bax is really an amazing store, they let you try everything out including all the music production equipment, microphones and pedalboards witch is not a standard thing in Poland that I lived in before. Wide variety of guitars and pretty good prices as well. Also worth to mention their brand called „Devine” I bought monitoring headphones for practicing guitar for 36€ and they sound surprisingly well for the price. Another thing worth mentioning is that they let you try out products for 30 days and if you’re not happy with it you can just go and return to get your money back. I really recommend to everyone to go there and see what they have

They send spam a few times a week, even though I was never a customer. My address has probably been hacked of bought by them.
They don't respond to unsubscribe requests or to complaints.

I bought recently the stereo amplifier Palmer Macht 402 by Bax Music for a super top discount. . I was looking since long time for an stereo amplification for my Helix, also I am more a tube fan I am quite satisfied with the performance and sound of that amp which offers a couple of option for the ssettup and an EQ for each channel Thanks to the prompt delivery service of Bac Music I received the amp in less than 24 hours at my house door.

I received the wrong item, customer service is poor too.

They send from abroad, don't bother, not worth the grief and wait.

Went bankrupt earlier this year. Appears to have been re-launched but the process of refunding my old order has been complex, difficult and very slow. It was just a £70 cable but if it had been a big piece of kit this would have been a disaster. Would not use again.

One of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. I received a damaged product, and what followed was weeks of failed pickups, false tracking updates, and zero accountability.

Customer service kept repeating the same broken process, and eventually got the package picked up, but I’m still waiting for my refund. I won’t be buying from Bax Music again. Avoid this store.
