Other than my initial conversations before the beginning of the contract I’ve not heard from anyone.

I attended a CV peer review, hosted by Hugh Abbott. Having been offered a CV review by a number of companies, I was a bit reluctant thinking it was another cunning ruse to extract cash from me. I was wrong. The session was extremely well coordinated and made powerful by having fellow professionals spotting the obvious mistakes in your CV. Coupled with some fantastic industry insights from a guy that obviously knows his "onions", I now have a glowing CV. In a cut throat world, B2E Consulting are taking a refreshing approach

I took part in a CV Peer Review last week with Hugh from B2E Consulting together with several other consultants. This was a really good discussion comparing target roles with candidate CVs. It was very helpful to get constructive and open feedback from others taking part and from Hugh with his extensive professional experience.
I would highly recommend B2E with their approach on this topic and willingness to engage with consultants seeking new opportunities.

When I signed up with B2E I received a phone call from Hugh (very few other consultancies call, if lucky you will get an automated messages saying they have received your CV). Even better he told me about a peer review method he uses to help the B2E community improve their CV. I signed up straight away.

Eight of us joined a Skype meeting and after introductions, we looked at a couple of CVs to build an understanding of 'buyer values' - the idea that our CVs only sell us if they meet the values the buyer (recruiter) is seeking.

With that understanding, we then reviewed each other's CVs. We started by looking at a job description and extracting the buyer's values and then reviewed the matching CV to see if it delivered. Of course, we also considered other aspects of the CV.

Throughout the session, I learned from a world-class recruiter what makes a good CV and the peer review of my document was really valuable.
