Ordered Genuine Panasonic NCR18650B…

Ordered Genuine Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh Li-Ion Battery (Flat Top). It arrived with no charge and wouldn't hold a charge. I contacted the company and they said it must be my error as they'd never had a faulty battery! They wanted me to return the battery at my expense and only if they found a fault would they replace it. Their emails were brief, lacking courtesy and at no time demonstrated any concern or willingness to admit that the battery was at fault. I feel sure that they thought I was a blithering idiot or possibly trying to extract a second (free) $15.27 battery from them! Honestly.... as if I don't know how to charge a battery or could be bothered to try and elicit a free battery! After several unhelpful emails from them I simply gave up and told them to keep my money and I would consider it a lesson learnt. In my opinion Aubattery quite obviously have no respect for their customers and neither trust or value them. Shame on them.

Never received the order. Customer service is non-existent.

I placed my order for some Li-ion batteries on 28 April.
Standard delivery 5-7 business days.

When it had initially failed to arrive on time I was advised it had been sent on 5 May, however I was never provided any tracking info, nor even the name of the courier company.

Now, over one month later, I still have not received my order, nor any further comms from Ausbatteries.
They stopped responding to my emails on 19 May.
The website does not offer any other means of contacting them.

I have now initiated the process of recovering my funds.

I will never use Ausbatteries again - do yourself a favour and order from a company that at least offers phone or live chat support e.g. BatteryWorld, Bunnings etc.

Stay Away. Order from a reputable company

Order not delivered after 2 months, plenty of promises about posted and coming next week. All false.

I requested a refund which was agreed to but not paid into my account.

Opened a PayPal dispute which the company never responded to. PayPal refunded my payment.

Moral: Stay away from these clowns.

Not Australian and difficulties with returns

Ordered a replacement BETTY4 battery for my Razer Blade 14 (2016). Delivery was delay significantly from expected times listed on the site but worse the provided battery was faulty and would not charge at all and was not properly recognised by the laptop.

I attempted multiple times to contact the vendor by email and was ignored. I was only contacted after lodging a PayPal dispute. The vendor then asked me to return the battery to an address in China and asked that I close my dispute prior to having it resolved.

They requested that I return the battery using untracked land postage at my cost, this would firstly take longer than the PayPal dispute period and secondly it is not possible to actually send lithium ion battery products internationally from Australia as a general consumer.

Despite listing an address in Australia on their website they request returns be made to China and clearly do not actually operate an Australian business.

I had previously purchased the same battery from the vendor it it had worked, at least for 1 year, however they claim to offer a 3 year warranty on their products. Except that to obtain that they will require you to send back the battery to China which you will not be able to do.

I am now certain the battery is faulty as I ordered a new one from another vendor and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately PayPal are also asking me to send the battery back to China which no one seems to understand is simply not possible (at least not legally). So the end result will likely be a lost cause.

Also, take note of the Australian address on their website. If you try another vendor check their address is not the same as I have already found at least one other website sharing the same business address.

Ordered a replacement DELL Laptop…

Ordered a replacement DELL Laptop Battery over 2 weeks ago. Assured (via website) 2-3 business days delivery. After a week I emailed them and was advised that "the supplier" did not send - they advised that they have it and sent it.

One week later still no battery. Again emailed AUBatteries and was provided with a AUSPOST consignment number. Waited for battery but chased up delivery with AUSPOST.

AUPOST confirmed that paperwork was lodged BUT NO Physical scan of the item was in the system - so in effect the item was NOT SENT.

Have tried to email AUBatteries - as they conveniently dont have a phone number - but to date have not had a reply.

So I am out of pocket to the tune of $90.

Buyer beware!

Very poor experience

It is pity I had not seen this site before ordering.

Same experiences as the others.

Product took weeks to arrive and then lasted 3 months of very light use before dying.

No refund, no replacement, "mail it back to China".

Based in China and crap products and customer service.

Be careful when dealing with these guys.

Paid extra for expres shipping, batteries never arrived.
Followed up a week later, the following friday i get an email advising it's finally been dispatched. Asked for a refund on shipping as i paid for the service, but they failed to ship, which they promptly brushed off.
When batteries did arrive, they were packaged well, looked new, and appears to be of good quality. could never really test tho, the cables did not match/fit. AuBatteries claim that i ordered the wrong parts, however i ordered according to the model numbers listed on the devices.
Customer service is curt and dismissive. they did not honour their return policy point 6.
Lots of marketing, no substance. please be careful dealing with this company - they also seem to be poping up under different business names from time to time.

The $100 NEW laptop battery only lasts …

The $100 NEW laptop battery only lasts 3 hours. I was told that was normal and that I can't compare it to the original. Now they want me to send it back to CHINA, he suggested to send it without tracking to keep costs lower, haha. I demanded to return to an Australian address because international shipping is $50, but apparently that's not possible. What a rip off. They know exactly that it's not worth paying $50 shipping (plus the $10 for receiving it in the first place) to receive a $100 refund. Obviously my review that I submitted on their website will not be published. I will contact Paypal about this.

Beware not Australian Based at all

I purchased a laptop battery. The claims all over the website are that they are Based and sell from Australia. The are not Australian Based, the battery failed to charge after 1 month, they wanted the battery sent back to China at my expense with NO tracking or insurance available for the Chinese Post side of the delivery. Paypal claim raised and in progress. THIS IS NOT AN AUSTRALIAN BASED COMPANY.
